Wow what a place. Clean, comfortable and great location. Surrounded by fields and love the goats. My smallest will miss going up and down the hill on his bike. Lovely welcome, and the area is just stunning. Love this place.
The cottage was fabulous as was the surrounding countryside. It is on a remote farm set in the yorkshire wolds which was ideal for us. A village shop was a couple of miles away with Supermarkets etc 7miles away. We cycled he wolds every say everyday. York is 25 miles away.
An absolutely stunning place to get away from it all. I stayed in Bramble cottage and I could not fault it. Charlotte was a fantastic host and couldn't have been more helpful. The cottage was tastefully decorated to an extremely high standard. The location was amazing so peaceful. I loved my time here and can't wait to go back!
Beautiful cottages, perfect setting, so peaceful. Warm welcome by host Charlotte, who discreetly checked that everything was OK during our stay. Loved visiting the goats and cows for a little chat but adored the very friendly 3-legged farm cat. Would definitely recommend this holiday setting if you want a peaceful break. The local pub ‘The Gnu’ served some delicious food in a lovely atmosphere too.
The cottage and surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and restful. Charlotte and her family are welcoming and friendly. All of which made for an amazing holiday - thank you.
We loved our stay! So cosy and peaceful! As frequent visitors to the area, visiting family as we now live in Australia, we will definitely be back. Thank you Charlotte for a lovely stay!

Very remote, wifi wasnt the best
Lovely location but as we stayed for three weeks fresh bedding would have been nice for the price we paid, not a problem washing the towels.

In need of TLC
A nice little house in a quiet location where you can take a break and relax. However the cottage is let down by a lack of attention to a number of maintainance issues such as creaking floors and wind noise through windows. In addition the kitchen equipment was dirty on arrival and there were insufficient pots, pans and crockery for four people.

Cosy relaxing cottages perfect for a get away from it weekend.
Cottage was very cosy, we had such a relaxing stay here. We walked into Newbold and had a lovely walk around the village and visited both pubs which were very welcoming and cosy. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and we also would love to come back for another relaxing weekend away. It was just what me and my husband needed.

Will come again!
We had a lovely weekend stay with our children while in town for a wedding and couldn't have felt more at home. The cottage we stayed in was clean, roomy and had been done to a very high standard. The owners are very kind and even offered to send us back a phone charger we had accidentally left behind. We will miss waking up to that beautiful countryside view! Will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful, peaceful property
The cottage itself was absolutely stunning. Very clean and roomy!! There was three of us staying so this proved more than enough room. The cottage was very clean upon arrival. Only downfall - we couldn't find any instructions to work the washing machine and there was no hoover, or brush with the dust pan and brush. But apart from that our stay was perfect. Plenty of fields to walk the dogs in and the owner, she was lovely and very welcoming!! Would definitely stay here again.
