Excellent Position
It was very good. There are 17 internal stairs as advertised and the front door doesn't open properly because it's too close to the first stairs.
Suggest notching the first stairs maybe?
Anyway the apartment was lovely. The main pictured bedroom was very bright and had two doors opening onto a small Juliette balcony which then looked down onto the entrance to the castle.
It was fun to watch people and at night listen to music being played. The mattress was quite firm but not uncomfortable.
The second room is smaller but has a window which let in plenty of light.
The bathroom was fine and the kitchen was well equipped, not that we ate in much.
The apartment is easily within walking distance of the city sights.
Rui was very good at explaining things and he supplied a map to a few things in relation to the apartment. If you're going to need the grocery store then double check how to find it before the host leaves because we got lost and then found it tucked under another building and accessed both by stairs and a lift.
All in all the apartment was excellent.
