Nautical Nook - F205 at North Coast Village

Set amongst the lush, Maui-like tropical landscaping of North Coast Village, fantastic whitewater ocean, sand, and harbor views greet you each time you come through the door. The kitchen and bath have been upgraded with slab granite countertops and a matching backsplash. Enjoy the gorgeous tropical gardens, walking paths, streams, waterfalls, heated pools & spas as you meander around this oceanfront complex. Nautical Nook is a clean, quiet, and comfortable retreat. The second floor location enhances the ocean breezes and views.

Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet.

You'll love savoring the quiet sunsets from your private balcony. This is a great retreat for a couple, business traveler, or small family.

Nautical Nook is located at North Coast Village, an oceanfront complex between the Oceanside Pier and the Harbor. You are 35 miles from the San Diego Airport, and 1.2 miles from the Oceanside Train Station. Enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, streams, lagoon-style year-round heated pool and spa, putting green, exercise rooms, saunas, and recreation rooms with ping pong, billiards and Foosball. You'll have access to amenities such as a fitness center, putting green, and a barbecue area overlooking the pool for parties. Reserved garage parking, cable television, a recreation center, clubhouse with kitchen, massive stone fireplace and cedar walls, as well as laundry facilities and 24-hr patrol will make your stay an enjoyable one.

The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1, and and the Sunset Market Thursday evenings from 5-9.

The complex consists of nine four-story buildings surrounded by two-story cottages, on several acres of lushly landscaped tropical grounds. Enjoy a romantic walk on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in Southern California.

Great Condo!

We enjoyed our stay at the North Coast Village and the Nautical Nook condo was better than expected! The North Coast Village complex felt like a private Polynesian resort. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. They have a pool, hot tub, gym, game room, putting green, water features, and koi pond where you can feed the fish. The condo had a great view of the beach and harbor from the balcony. It was so peaceful to see the beach and waves and hear the waterfall just below the balcony. It was clean, had new carpet and paint, a comfortable bed and supplied everything needed in the kitchen for cooking. They also have beach chairs and golf clubs for putt putt. We really enjoyed our stay at the Nautical Nook and would recommend this cozy condo if you are thinking about staying in Oceanside.

Beautiful Property

We loved the location. The entire resort was impeccably maintained. The landscaping and property design gave us a Polynesian feel. The pool was beautiful and many resort perks were noted. There is a fitness center, pool tables, ping pong, laundry room and more. Our room was as described and also impressively clean. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels for use. There was ample linens, kitchen and bath towels. It is a gated community with security present. Others noted the trains and interstate as a bother. There was a water feature in our courtyard so the sounds was muted. We loved North Coast Village and would stay again.

Beyond expectations

I was able to get 2 nights at short notice. So I wasn’t expecting perfection. But was thoroughly impressed. The grounds were spectacular. Like a tropical paradise with streams filled with beautiful koi, waterfalls. Tropical flowers everywhere! We will definitely be back next year! Thank you!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am going to highlight the things that we found important. The parking was convenient and easy to get in and out to do things locally. The view was just enough to watch the sun, water and surfing. We were close to the harbor and ended up going there almost every morning for a walk and coffee or breakfast. The furniture was comfortable and especially having a recliner was nice. I liked that there was a bath/shower combination. It was a short walk to pier and everything down by the pier. Lots of restaurant options within walking distance. We did use the golf, pool tables, hot tub and all are very easy to get to. Great stay and I would stay there again and recommend it to people wanting to visit Oceanside and the surrounding area. We did a fishing charter one day at the Sea Center, located at the harbor and it was a very easy walk to get there.

We love the complex, it's proximity to the beach and how beautifully the grounds are maintained. This was our first visit to unit F205. It is a clean, well-loved condo with lovely views of both the harbor and the beach. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck ever morning. It is the ONLY unit we've stayed at that had a Keurig coffee maker! We loved that!

Everything you need for a great beach vacation!

This was one of the cleanest units we’ve stayed in at North Coast Village and the only one that supplied a drying rack (and we’ve been coming here almost 20 years). The ants are definitely a problem all over the coast - we found wiping the counters and floors with vinegar did the trick to keep them away. We had no issues staying here the last 2 weeks. The bed was comfy, the pull out couch bed was as expected…not exceptional but it did the job. Loved having a hand-held shower head…so necessary at the beach! And appreciated beach chairs and an umbrella in well working order. The amenities of this property are fantastic and we’ll surely be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented same unit for 4 years, but we will no longer do that, because when we returned home I received a phone call regarding missing two shells. Paying top price for rental we do not need any accustom something missing or broken. I can afford to buy any shells we wanted. Plus, unit was with ants and sand, kitchen cabinets has smell. Towels was very old and limited, do not lasted for family of 4 for 7 days. What a waist!

Only 1 notice for others staying here; many reviews said it was walkable but it's only partially walkable. We did it but then we rented a car to go beyond Oceanside. I still don't think I'd rent a car for the week cuz I like walking, but I enjoyed renting one for 1 day. Fyi, the map of the complex was really necessary cuz it's a maze. But what a beautiful one. The complex was like a beautiful tropical paradise! Definitely returning.
