Water's Edge truly has a million dollar view. Few other cabins could possibly offer such a beautiful setting, sitting in the bend of the ELLIJAY RIVER, and looking far downstream. 3 king bedrooms-each with TV's, 2 baths. FENCED yard, Pet friendly. Managed by Sliding Rock Cabins. Why not roast S'mores in the riverside firepit, maybe try your hand at fly-fishing, soak in the large hot tub or just laze the day away in the waterside hammock listening to the calming waters. You can even tube to your cabin, or pan for gold. Later snuggle up in front of the gas log fireplace and watch an old movie. Whatever you decide you're sure to enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness of rustic Water's Edge. No cats please. NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 8 YEARS OLD.

Main level: Living room with gas log fireplace, kitchen, dining, master king bedrooom with TV & desk, bath, covered porch with seating and dining, hot tub.
Upstairs: Two king bedrooms with TV's 1 shared bath.

Access: Access to this cabin is via gravel, mountain roads. 4 wheel drive is not required, confidence in mountain driving is recommended.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. The staff answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns, as small as they were, with promptness and kindness. The home is stunning. It was clean and well maintained. We love that they are so pet friendly. We enjoyed our three Pomeranians without being worried. The fenced backyard is such a bonus. We cannot say enough about the ambiance and view. We will make this an annual trip!!! We have encouraged friends and family to seek out this property.

The river and view are incredible! Not a dealbreaker but the kitchen and third bedroom are tiny. It wasn’t a problem for us since we had a total of four people but if you have more, it would be quite “cozy”. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

There are neighbors but the fenced in yard and cabin almost turn away from them so you still feel secluded. Very clean. Stocked kitchen. The drive was easy, but have some mountain driving skills as the road can be popular. Outdoor seating on the deck wasn't the most comfortable. Bring wood for the outdoor firepit, you won't regret it.

My family and I had an amazing time! The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It did end up raining all day Saturday while we were there, but there was plenty of room on the back porch and inside for us to hang out and play card games. We enjoyed Ellijay coffee shops and Panorama Apple House (fried apple pies- the best!)...and Blairsville House of Prayer. The only thing we would change- is to take a four-wheel drive as the first half mile out from the cabin was steep and we had tire slippage. Yes- we would recommend this place to our friends!

The moment you get out of the car and hear the beautiful sound of the flowing river you are at peace. Yes it’s loud, but that is the whole point of renting a cabin like this! My son enjoyed fishing and even caught one smallmouth bass over our stay. We waded into the water a bit too. The firepit and hot tub were perfect places to sit and enjoy nature. The inside was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our meals. Wi-Fi worked great our whole stay. My in-laws came with us and my FIL had the best sleep he’s had in a long time. We would definitely rent this cabin again!

My family and I loved that we were able to bring our fur baby and that there was a fenced in back yard where she could run around not on a leash. The water was up pretty high from the rain, but we still tried to fish because we were right on the water! I would like to note that there are some steep portions to get to the mountain, but we were in a Ford focus and had no issues making it to the location, even with the rain. Great cabin to unwind and listen to the roaring waters

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family (4 adults, 2 children ages 12 and 10, and two dogs) had a great time. The roaring water was soothing and nice. We were hoping to tube but the water is really not deep enough for that here, it's more of a stream than river in my opinion. The cabin was smaller inside than I anticipated, and the parking was tight (we had to back in every time so we could get out and we had only two cars with us). Not sure you could fit a third car. The road into and out of the cabin was very long and windy so be prepared. It was at the very end of the road and has a gate so we could allow the dogs to roam a bit with us out with them. The fenced in area for dogs was excellent. We ventured out to Blue Ridge and Elijay daily for day trips. Definitely recommend the blue ridge train and renting a boat on Lake Blue Ridge for a day as those were the highlights of the week.

The two upstairs bedrooms were always hot like being in an attic. The bathroom sink faucet down stairs would shoot water on the vanity. Pots and pans were greasy and dirty. We stayed at a different sliding rock cabin before and loved it. We love sliding rock cabins. Just didn't care for this cabin.
