This cozy eastern shore cottage is perfect for any visitor and is also ideal for fisherman. Ample boat parking. Fish cleaning station available. Located 0.3 miles outside beautiful Historic Cape Charles. Restaurants, shopping and the beach are minutes away! Enjoy the front porch relaxing in comfortable chairs. Back deck is perfect for grilling out and enjoying the sunset. .Golf cart rentals available for in town use. Carts can not be driven from the house into the historic district. We now have WIFI. Please enjoy this nostalgic cottage.

Fantastic Experience!

The house was great, and the owners were easy to communicate with and made sure the property was ready to go before we arrived. I would definitely recommend this property to stay for future visits to Cape Charles!

Fishing trip

Our stay at Fish Tales was nice and relaxing. Everything you could possibly need was available. It was conveniently located to where we wanted to be. We would definitely stay here again!

Best weekend to date!

The property was clean, stocked with anything you could need for a short get away! The location was perfect to be able to enjoy the downtown life but far enough out to also enjoy privacy. We were surprised with a handwritten card and a bottle of wine for our anniversary! Would definitely book this property in the future!

Cottage by the bay

We had a lovely stay at fishtails and would definitely come back! The cozy cottage was perfect for our small family. It was so close to cape Charles beach and yet out of the business of town. The location was convenient and we had everything we needed for our long weekend.

Another great week!

We love this cozy two bedroom with the large yard. The last couple of years we stayed mid August this was our first fall stay. Perfect midway point, with great restaurants, for us and our friend to visit. Be back next year.

Relaxing and quiet

It's an older home but clean and comfortable. It's in a great location, so close to the town you could easily bike to the beach. It was easy to contact the owners and I really enjoyed the simple life there!

Totally Great!

This small home is located just outside of the main Cape Charles town. About 10 minutes from the beach. Just 5 minutes from their Craft Brewery-YUM! We had a great time and we will be back!!

Life's simple pleasures.

This little gem had everything we needed and more. Plenty of yard space for activities. All supplies were provided. The owners were extremely responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We look forward to our next visit. Cape Charles is an idyllic little town!

Lovely old cottage near the bay

This charming little cottage was clean, well stocked, and welcoming. We spent most of our time in town enjoying the good weather but it would be a cozy place to stay in the cooler months, as well. So appreciated that the owners have preserved much that makes this 20th century home so special.

Great choice!

So much good to say. Location perfect for shopping, dining, sunbathing and dipping in the Bay. The house was spotless, quiet and private. Host Ronnie was responsive to any questions I had before arrival and everything from check-in to check out was smooth. This was simply awesome and my friends and I will be back!
