High above Maggie Valley with fantastic mountain views this cozy cottage is waiting for you! Relax on one of the decks and soak up the view! This cottage is located in the gated community of Laurel Heights at a cool 4800 feet in elevation. Just the place for your mountain vacation get away!

Featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths, the main floor of the cottage has a bedroom with walk out deck, full bathroom with a shower, living room, kitchen, dining area and large covered and open deck to enjoy the outdoors and a screened porch for comfy relaxing. Upstairs is a loft with three twin beds and a half bath. Go outside and down some steps to a recently renovated private suite with king bed and bath.

This home sits above the Maggie Valley Club where seasonal amenities for additional fees include golf, pool and a public restaurant.
Conveniently located near Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway and Asheville it’s the perfect location to enjoy all that Western North Carolina has to offer.

With the high elevation and great views, the access is a curvy paved road. Put your vehicle in low gear going down! Be ready for ice or snow in winter months.

The neighborhood is a wildlife preserve. You may see deer, wild turkey and bears during your visit.

This stay was the best we have had to date. Perfect location, super clean and well appointed. Will repeat again in the future. The house has amazing views! Very relaxing to enjoy the front and rear porches to soak in the outdoors.

Cottage was just as advertised. Beautiful view and convenient location near a Blue Ridge Parkway access. Suzy was quick to respond to any questions regarding the residence.

Mountain Get Away

Fantastic views. The place was as advertised. Very nice and comfortable. Long drive with winding road up the mountain, but well worth it for the views and privacy. Lots of wildlife in the area but close to all the amenities that you might want good shopping and restaurants close by. Will definitely return!

Getaway with a View

We rented the property for 4 nights and truly enjoyed our stay. The ever changing views of the mountains was spectacular. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. We give it a 5 star rating and in the future... we may do it again.

Outstanding Get Away

Highly recommend. Cabin is great. View are even better. I will warn, if you plan on going down to the valley often make sure your not the car sick type cuz the road up the mountains is full of zig zags.

We thoroughly enjoyed Cheryl's cottage! The view is amazing, and the sunrises were absolutely wonderful! Our host Suzy was awesome, great communication, we had some snow one night and she made sure to keep us updated on road conditions! Overall this stay was perfect, will definitely be going back!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It's a gorgeous view, the house was lovely with updated bathrooms, plenty of space, and the property manager was extremely helpful & responsive when I had questions about the amenities in the house. We will definitely try to make it back to Maggie Valley and stay in this house!

The house was very clean and well stocked. Only frustrating issue was how poor the internet was. House is very high up in the mountains so understandable but still frustrating. Having Direct TV was nice and needed.

So Peaceful

This was our 2nd time staying & it was wonderful. The flora is beautiful & the property's gorgeous mountain views & quiet seclusion are very peaceful. A new recliner & reclining sofa are not reflected in the listing photos. We travel frequently & comfortable furniture isn't very common so it's much appreciated when we find it! This cottage has lots of cozy places to relax. The kitchen is very well stocked, the bed is comfortable, the shower has great water pressure & the whole cottage is clean. Suzy was very accommodating when we had issues with the vrbo site being down & she let us know when lawn workers were coming. Thank you for another great stay!
