We really enjoyed our stay at Bimini Bay. It is located near stores and restaurants. We were able to walk in the neighborhood. Everyone at the condo was really nice and welcoming. The pool area was very nice. Nice beaches within about 1/2 hour of condo.
I had thought that VRBO had a certain required level of quality for the condos listed through it, but it seems that must quite broadly observed. We were VERY disappointed considering we were paying two or three times as much as we have ever paid in rent during the 13 previous winters we have spent in Florida. The condo was clean. That’s the best part. It was conveniently located, which was good. From there…there were problems considering what we paid. The kitchen was poorly equipped. There were just three mismatched dinner plates and a few cups and glasses; no more than two of any matching items, none of them were dish washer or microwave safe. A few spoons, forks and dinner knives. Two large knives both dull as hoes; no useable paring knife, one quart-size cooking pan and two huge kettles with which one could have served chili at the Salvation Army soup kitchen! There was one plastic wine glass (could have been a water glass). The small dining table had only three chairs. The living room furniture could best be described as worn out vintage 60’s style. The cabinet drawers both in the kitchen and bedrooms had no handles at all. The end tables were like nothing most people would have in their home. Broken drawers, dated stuff throughout which had quite obviously come from a yard sale or second hand store. I complained, and to his credit, the owner came over with a large
