Location is fantastic
My stay here was pleasant. The location is in Knightsbridge which was about a 5 to 7 minute walk to Harrods and the underground. There are several coffee shops including Starbucks walking distance. The apartment is charming and felt safe. The host was easy to contact and got back to me immediately. We stayed end of July, there is no air conditioning but 2 fans. The only time it would get warm is after the 3 of us took showers, the steam kind of lingered in the apartment with it being underground, but other than that was comfortable. Thank you for having us.

Moldy or mildewy basement
This basement apartment stinks of mold or mildew. If that doesn't bother you, the neighborhood is quiet, the apartment cute, the location is excellent, the key pick up super easy, and Ivy property management is incredible and super responsive. And the price is reasonable.

The location of the property is excellent. The flat is small but met needs for a home base during our London stay. The property management was very responsive to all needs. The only downside is the musty smell that aired out when window is open, but the flat really needs a good deep clean.

Clean and bright
The flat was exactly as described and worked well for us, giving more space than a hotel room plus a full kitchen. There were 4 of us; 1 adult, two 16 year olds and a 14 year old. I slept on the single bed. The kids had no issues with the loft and the 14 year old was on the slide out. The space was clean and very bright. Admittedly, it’s likely a better fall/winter accommodation as it was quite hot overnight and being on the lower level we didn’t leave the window open through the night. There was a fan for the sleeping loft and having one for the lower level would be helpful. Great location with the museums and Hyde Park a short walk away.

Location, location, location!
Lovely small flat in a fantastic neighborhood! 2-3 blocks from Hyde Park, a 10 minute walk to So. Kensington Tube station, museums, neighborhood with lots of restaurants. Nicely appointed small kitchen (although we didn’t use it at all). The flat itself was very clean ~ could maybe just use a little refresh ~ but the location truly made this a great spot for my daughter and I to enjoy the week in London. The loft double bed does have a steep ladder to get into; but that was fine for my 21 year old ☺️ Overall a really lovely stay!

Christmas in London
While planning my Christmas visit to London, I originally picked this unit because it is close to where my daughter lives. But, it turned out to be so much more. Very cute, very well appointed (plenty of towels, blankets, pans, utensils, chairs) and a great location (so close to Harrod's and yet in a quintessential London neighborhood.) Cozy but in a good way - I was able to host our gift exchange with appetizers for five without any problems. Two notes of caution - first, I might have missed that "garden" level means below street level. It was a bit disconcerting until I actually got inside the apartment as the big window provided plenty of light and it did not feel "underground" at all. Secondly, the ladder to the loft/bed area is quite steep - it wasn't a problem as my son was able to scamper it quite well and I slept on the first floor bed (which was very comfortable I might add). The host/management was exceptionally responsive and, in particular, very helpful in coordinating with my daughter to go back into the unit after we departed upon the discovery that my son left a purchase behind. Overall, a great place which I will happily rent again.

Great stay for a couple.
We loved this flat and its location! Pros: Location. Location. Location Walking distance to two tube lines Clean Ease of communication with staff Close to Hyde Park and Kensington Washer/dryer combo in unit Cons: The flat above us sounded like they moved furniture until late into the night and also played music very loudly and late. We didn’t mention it since it wasn’t every night, but it was several nights. We also tried to drown some of it out with white noise from our phones. I’d suggest if you’re a light sleeper to pack some ear plugs. Also, we’re from the states, so we’re accustomed to air conditioning. It stayed cool for the most part but on the warmer days it got quite warm. There are fans in the flat to help with it a bit, and the window can be cracked (the window wasn’t the easiest to operate and get latched correctly, but it does open ). Would we stay here again? Absolutely! Would I stay here with more than two people? Probably not, but that’s just because it is a bit small. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Location is everything
Basement letting with beautiful long windows looking out on a beautiful square. Just a block away from Hyde Park makes for a gorgeous commute anywhere. The sleeping arrangements are the main downside as the loft is a wee bit claustrophobic, and the pull out mattress under the main double is hard springs. Easier for two than four, I imagine!

Perfect location
The flat was small but clean and had everything we needed. Perfect for 2 people / child. The loft bed has a ladder and requires a young person to sleep up there. The pop up trundle could use a mattress pad cover or new mattress but it wasn’t terrible. Overall, we stayed for 6 days and enjoyed the location. Close to Hyde Park and not a far walk to the tube.

Our wee accommodation
We have stayed in this area before and we’re pleased to be back. The property was smaller than I expected but manageable. I would recommend they get a better second bed downstairs, or maybe a good fold out couch. And this is easily done, a teapot.

Good location, but small.
It's as small as the other reviews say and I sure wouldn't try to put 4 people in it. The sleeping loft is really best for one and you can't sit up in bed. You must be spry to get up the ladder. But the bathroom is fabulous by London flat standards. Just a few blocks to Hyde Park. Located half way between the South Kensington and Knightsbridge tube stations.

Very teeny tiny
The best part of this rental is its location. But it is extremely tiny so would be a hard place to stay in for more than a week or so. The pictures definitely flatter it. The table and chairs are of the folding variety as there is not room to leave them out all the time without seriously reducing the floor space. This is not a one bedroom because there is no bedroom with walls and a door, which is how one might ordinarily describe a one bedroom. Rather, there is a very low roofed loft bed at the top of some steep stairs and a tiny bed (smaller than a twin) at one end of the living room. The bathroom is nice. Rent if you are a hobbit or like things that are twee.

Perfect location in Central London
I was traveling alone to London on this trip with the goal of seeing the great museums of London. This little cozy flat was perfectly located and worked very well for my trip. The little kitchen included everything I needed to make breakfasts and dinners at home after a long day of sightseeing and the large tub made it possible to have a good muscle soak. It is quiet, despite it's central location. The South Kensington tube station is a short walk away, as are the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. If you need a walk in some open space, expansive and beautiful Hyde Park is two blocks north. Two things I learned about this flat once I got there: 1. It has laundry facilities, which if I'd realized that before I went I would have been able to pack a bit less. 2. The kitchen has under-cabinet lighting - the switch is over in the far corner by the stove. Ivy Lettings was super-professional and responsive during my stay and they took care of my every need without being intrusive. I was so happy with them. As someone traveling alone it was great to know they were there for me when I needed them. I am very pleased with my stay and would definitely recommend this flat.

Close to many things
The best thing about this apartment is its location. Easy walking to Hyde park and many other places you will want to go. We only rode the bus a couple of times. The apartment is small, and there were three ladies, so we were a bit cramped. But we did manage the 5 days we were there. The apartment is clean and equipped well. The manager was very pleasant.

Clean, Quiet, Comfy, and Safe
This property is nestled in a tranquil and well-to-do area that lends itself to privacy and quiet. The door to the building is a keyed entry for added security. It is a walk away from Harrods, The V&A, Hyde Park, Brompton Oratory, and two Underground Stations, not to mention multiple bus stops. Inside, the bright apartment is serene, small and cozy (but not cramped)- plenty of room for 2 people to relax after a busy day in London. It is clean and well maintained, and stocked with all that is needed to prepare a meal or snack in the petite kitchen. The loft bed and pull out bed are comfortable and linens are plentiful. The bathroom is spacious and has plenty of hot water for a shower or bath. The apartment guide suggested a small store in the near-by college campus, but there is also a better stocked Sainsbury's Local toward Harrod's (Americans- look for eggs on the shelf, haha). There is a washer/dryer unit that washed great but took a little long to dry. Customer service was fantastic and friendly. Booking the flat was painless and any questions we had about it or London were answered quickly via email (Thanks Alyce!). Our flight came in earlier than check-in time, but we were told we could drop our bags off at the flat and come back when it was ready. When we got there, the housekeeper was there with keys in hand and told us we didn't have to leave. That was a nice gesture after traveling for 12 hours overnight! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone not adverse to a loft bed. If you are looking for something different to do in London besides the usual sites, we really enjoyed afternoon tea at Sketch in Mayfair, and The Borough (food) Market, including Monmouth Coffeehouse. You could also grab some bubble tea at Bubbleology in nearby South Kensington, or other locations around London.
