Great place to stay...a few items noticed broken/damaged but keep in notification via text to keep you updated of items. Other than that, was wonderful

Definitely a hideaway. Not easy to find the first time (GPS and Google have it wrong) but perfectly easy after the initial search and an easy in-and-out. Situated about midway between Zion and Bryce it turned out to be a really good location for visiting both - as well as Red Canyon.
Don't expect anything in the "city" of Alton - nothing there as far as any services or amenities. Duck Creek was pretty charming and filled with friendly and helpful people and is close to the cabin.
The cabin was very clean and the neighbors were quiet. It appears to be quite a gypsy camp kind of area but no issues at all. The owners and local maintenance staff are extremely attentive. The WiFi was down when we arrived - not a big deal; we're at a cabin in the woods - but they had it up and running by the end of our first day. Communication about check in and check out was excellent as was the status updates on when maintenance people were present (we were out all day every day so never met any of the maintenance folks).
All appliances worked well and the washer/dryer was very nice being it was week three of a three week vacation.
There is no view. That hardly mattered as we were at Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Red Canyon all day every day. We had plenty of views! When we arrived back at the cabin the couches felt as comfortable as they looked. Not a negative; simply do not expect a vista from the porch. Plenty of trees and solitude.
A great property to get away and relax. We ran into some issues with the property, but the manager was very responsive and sent people out immediately to fix the issues.
The cabin was conveniently located between Bryce Canyon and Zion. We stayed for a week and took day trips to nearby trails. It was a quiet location and a nice spot to relax.
Place was great for a quiet getaway. Only issue was that the BBQ grill had a lot of rust with no propane and no dishwasher, fire place, and bath tub as advertised. There is a wood burning stove. Place was very clean except the dirty dishes and glasses.
This little cabin is approximately 10-15 minutes away from duck creek village. It’s up high on a hill tucked in between trees. The inside is clean and cozy and the both beds are super comfy. If you are looking for a place quiet and in a secluded area this is the place for you! I will for sure be a return guest!
We loved our stay at the Hillside Hideaway in Duck Creek. The cabin was very nice and the location was perfect! We visited both Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park while we were there. It was situated right in the middle between the 2. The cabin was in a quiet, wooded neighborhood with nice spacing between the houses and lots of forest to enjoy. You probably should have a 4 wheel drive to get around in though. The roads are dirt amd some are pretty steep. Great place though!!
Beautiful and clean property. Prompt to any issues we had responding as well as answering any questions. More towels may be a good thing but other than that we had a great stay!

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in
No emenities including hot pads.
No supplies for this unit. Electric hanging out of ceiling above kitchen table.
Great central location, clean and tidy, stocked with all we needed for cooking. Very much enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

Rodent Poop
There was rodent poop in all the kitchen drawers. Let the property manger know and still haven’t received a proper response. It’s too bad because it was a cute cabin. We go to Duck Creek every year.
Looking for a quiet, low key, place in the woods. This place didn’t disappoint. Very quiet, and could see every star in the sky. Will definitely be coming again
We enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful and I love that you can ride a UTV /dirt bikes directly from the cabin to the many trails nearby. We had campfires and s’mores every night. Great family getaway.
