Privately situated saltwater farmhouse on the narrow peninsula of Fifield Point, capturing both easterly and westerly views of the ocean thoroughfare, Camden Hills and nearby islands, with shoreline and beaches both fronting and backing the property. The comfortable farmhouse is an 8-minute drive to Stonington village. Soft green grasses and pasture are just off the front deck and back patio, and cascade down to the front and back shorelines just steps from the cottage. Inside, the home feels warm and comfortable. A large well-equipped country kitchen with adjoining dining room are warmed by a cast iron wood stove. A traditional parlor, living room and den are also on the main level, along with a non-working fireplace and washer/dryer. Both living room and den have satellite tv. Upstairs are 3 spacious bedrooms (1 queen , 1 queen, 1 full plus 2 twins) and a full bath, with a 3/4 bath (shower only) on the main level. Enjoy beautiful sunsets looking west across Penobscot Bay. Very secluded, peaceful and quiet.

We had 6 adults - 3 couples that stayed at the house. The property is gorgeous. Every morning we sat on the front porch and gazed at the ocean. We were also very lucky to see deer most mornings. Just a note - there wasn't a dishwasher. We did not have any problems with that but I just wanted to point it out. There was only 1 shower which we all missed when looking at the details of the property before hand. The upstairs bathroom does have a tub but there was only the 1 shower downstairs. The door to the downstairs bathroom is a bifold door. It was odd that there wasn't a regular door with a lock. Thankfully the bathroom was off by itself otherwise it may be a problem for some people. One of the upstairs bedrooms also had bifold doors instead of a regular door. The house itself was wonderful and quaint. We enjoyed it immensely and would stay again.
We had an amazing stay at this property. Having two beaches to enjoy was an experience we can never forget! The house was charming and had all we needed to be comfortable. Highly recommend!
This property is full of surprises! We didnt have the greatest weather. Rain and heavy fog all weekend 'but' this place kept us busy. We had fun exploring the property. The apple trees, the berry bushes. Tree fort and 2 amazing, pretty private beaches. We woke up early enough to watch the lobster boats head out for the morning catch. Shortly after a group of Deer eating freshly fallen apples right near the house. The fall folliage couldn't be beat. We got to see an amazing sunrise the final morning. Would definitely recommend this place. Thanks to the family for opening up their home to us.

Geary House
The view & location was great, we were greeted by a deer in the yard. However, when we got into the house it wasn't clean. There were spiders and spiderwebs all over the place. the counter was filthy. We cleaned everything prior to using it. the top of the dryer and refrigerator was dirty. We could hear squirrels in the garage when we went to get the key from the lockbox.
From the check in things started To go down hill. The information about where the lockbox was located was wrong. Finally got into the house and there was a note from the “head housekeeper” apologizing for the stink of lobster shells that the previous tenants had left in the house with a warning that if we left trash we would be charged $10.00 a bag.
Looking around the house, I saw dirt everywhere and I was so disappointed.I thought, what can I do but clean it myself? So I started and it took about 2-3 hours to make it livable.
Once the stench from the lobster shells subsided, all I could smell was cat piss. And then the squirrels started their invasion into the eaves.we first heard them in the kitchen, then the living room and finally the bed room! I couldn’t stand it anymore so we left two days before our lease was finished.
We were enjoyed good time on both side beach and nice views, and good food, ate fresh Lobsters for two days (it can buy near by place). Also beautiful Sunset and Sunrise, and especially the windy night that blackout, we talked under gas lamp and watched stars in the sky, it was fantastic.
I hate to even tell you how wonderful this place is for fear that it will never have an open booking for me again. The house is a nice, cute farm house with a comfortable feel and an inviting setup. There were 7 of us in my party and every single one of us was amazed. This property has not only one of the best sea glass beaches that I have ever seen, but it also has an amazing sunset beach. Breathtaking property aside, we rented kayaks from the owner and paddled the short distance to Fort Island. This island is open to the public and has an amazing and giant beach that is only there when the tide is out. We have stayed at rentals all over the Maine coastline and this is the one...the best one!!
In the midst of this unusual year my friend and I managed to find a weekend to get away for a “girls weekend”. We were hoping for a relaxing location with beautiful views and this home delivered!
The check in was very easy and the owners were quick to respond. The home was easy to find, very clean, and had everything we needed. The views were breathtaking. We saw both a beautiful sunrise and sunset from the small beaches accessible on either side of the house. We watched deer graze on apples from the trees in the front yard and even saw an eagle or two.
To simply say that this is a beautiful spot would be doing it a disservice. It was hard to leave and head back to daily life after such a relaxing and picturesque retreat.
This place is spectacular! A very secluded charming farmhouse with 2 beautiful beaches. In the first day, we saw an eagle, deer and fox on the property. We even spotted a seal swimming. My kids loved running in the fields to search for tiny strawberries or climbing the treehouse. We were barefoot the whole time. The house is very rustic, but still comfortable. Be prepared to keep up with your laundry and take your trash to the transfer station, but not a big deal. There is little to no cellphone reception. So be prepared to disconnect. We enjoyed every minute and my kids are already asking to go back.
