The cozy cabin was absolutely just what the doctor ordered. The view from the deck was wonderful, and the house itself was clean, very cozy and just what one would expect a little cabin in the woods to be. Thank you!
We had a nice stay at the cabin! We were a little bummed that the deck furniture is removed for snow season. We also had issues with the oven and lack of some kitchen essentials (dish soap, cooking oil). The location is great- super close to downtown King’s Beach and trailheads. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.
Cozy cabin for a couple. We planned little time at the cabin as we were very busy taking in sites and boating at Tahoe. This cabin is a great "home base" for those looking to get away and enjoy Tahoe.
Only comment is to make sure to not use the fire pit, or grill, if under a burn ban.
The cabin was exactly as we expected . Communication with Kristine was excellent , I had inquired about air conditioning when the temps soared before our visit. They have a decent unit that’s perfect for sleeping but was put to the test in the hot afternoons. It was absolutely perfect for 2 people . Thankfully the large deck had a nice breeze We ended up exploring more of the Nevada side with the amount of time we had. It was neat to be right on the border . Definitely enjoyed our first trip to Tahoe!
We were in town for an event and live local to the area. We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is very small, and cute. Although it looks remote in the photos, it is located in a hillside neighborhood. The deck and the view are definitely highlights. The location is great, close to restaurants and downtown, hiking and biking. It is awesome for first time visitors to Tahoe, and perfect for couples. We experienced minor housekeeping issues that could have made the stay more comfortable. Mainly for me, there were only three bath towels provided and no washcloths. You may want to pack your own. The sheets and towels smell heavily of detergent or fabric softener (?) There is no washer and dryer at the property which would have resolved those little issues. Our stay was great overall. The host was wonderful and accommodating to our requests. I would recommend this property to couples visiting the area, especially for a first visit. You will be very happy with the location, and the view!
This location was exceptional. The parking in town is limited with the business of the beach, so being able to walk was amazing. The deck was a great place to relax.
What a perfect spot! The cabin was great for my husband and myself. The deck is huge and you can see the lake.
Kristine is an excellent, communicative host.
Highly recommend!
This cute and cozy house had everything we needed for our family. The owners thoughtfully provided the amenities with nice touches. The slight issue was the washer dryer unit. It is a single unit and takes a while to dry. Could be that I’m just not used to it. Otherwise everything was fantastic. Easy and fast communications. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
We had a nice time. There are just a few things that would have made our summer vacation nicer. An umbrella for the deck. The sun is sooo hot it was hard to enjoy the deck. An umbrella would be a nice touch. The cabin gets hot hot hot. The air conditioner was nice but the unit in the bedroom was missing parts to run. Everything else was nice and we had a good time!
This place is even more charming and comfortable than it looks in the pictures.
The deck in particular, with views out over the lake and mountains. And sunsets! (who knew King's Beach faces west?)
Can't wait to go back.

This cabin was a highlight of our recent trip to Tahoe. Perfectly located on the north side of the lake it offered wonderful views of the lake and surrounding woods in a quiet part of town. Highly recommend!
We stayed 2 nights and it was perfect. The cabin is located on a quiet road/neighborhood very close to the lake and all the restaurants and shopping. Easy to find and parking!
The cabin is updated and comfortable. We loved the back deck with lake and the perfect place to watch sunsets every night. The bed and pillows were luxurious and we slept great.
The owners were very accommodating and also gave us recommendations to local spots. We definitely we come back and stay here again!
