Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kinsman. Good quiet and safe location for hikers and exploring Franconia and Conway. Had a great time tubing down the Saco River. Spent nights sitting around the firepit and reminiscing. Wish there was a table lamp next to the bed for reading or getting up in middle of night.
We visit the White Mountains each Summer and typically stay on the Loon/Conway side which is much more touristy. Staying in Franconia was close to everything but the crowds. The owner, Adrienne, was terrific and her adorable cabin nestled on the fringe of The National Forest was clean and had everything we needed. Be prepared for limited internet access and cell service. Close to trails, restaurants, grocery store, etc.
