Great stay

Our family enjoyed this house as it was very nicely laid out. Nice big living room and kitchen that we all gathered in. The wood stove was awesome and used after a day on the slopes. Plenty of wood

Beautiful riverfront property near mountain

Great roomy house with a beautiful riverfront view. We enjoyed the view from the house while watching the wildlife. The hot tub was a huge part of why we rented the property, along with the river. It was in a great, safe location in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of games and books to read. The bbq was out of propane and old and there was no foil, baggies, or plastic wrap but otherwise no complaints.

Post Thanksgiving Getaway

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The river view and the access to the Cascades was amazing. The feeling the house generates is very relaxing. We did struggle with both the hot tub and the outdoor grill. The hot tub no longer has a mounted swing arm to remove the lid. The lid isn't sealed very well so the temperature of the hot tub was in the low '90s. That said, we still enjoyed a soak. The grill was out of propane and looked to be unusable. It was very moldy on the grates, and very dirty inside. We solved this by using the grill grates on an outdoor fire, improvising and making some delicious ribeyes. The house has a wonderful location, but is lacking in internal provisions. The kitchen could use an overhaul, and much of the equipment and furniture has been well used.

Beautiful Views and Convenient Location

Overall, the cabin was great. The hot tub did not get much use as 3 out of the 5 days there were above 90, but it still was refreshing. Views were amazing and the location was convenient to Seattle, Leavenworth, and a ton of hiking trails. Definitely would recommend it and go back again. Only gripe we have is cleanliness and pest control. The floors didn't seem like they have been mopped in months as our feet were black with dirt in 10 minutes inside. There were numerous spiders and other bugs throughout the home, some in areas that should have been cleaned and some that require a lot of work to clean. Just didn't seem like anyone had sprayed for pests all summer long.

Beautiful house by the mountains

We stayed here for 3 nights. The house was very clean. The house is so spacious and the view of the water was beautiful. My husband, myself and our 3 children stayed in the house and we had plenty of room. The kitchen did not have as many supplies as we would have liked, but we managed. If we visit out here again, I would definitely stay here again

Riverfront Cabin, Excellent location for Summer Swimming

We stayed at this cabin for 2 weekends this summer. Will consider renting again. One was for my son's birthday celebration on 8/9/24 and another was for my new family after our wedding on 8/30/24. We really like this location and river swimming location. Many tubers passed by us while there. The cabin is will stocked with dishes, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, fridge, cooking stuff, utensils, cups, etc. which we appreciate in addition to games to enjoy. Hot tub is great for relaxation in evening., The property needs a bit of TLC in electrical (master bathroom) on the outside including grill area. Was told there was no grill as in photo however, the answer is the grill is very old and not usable. Considering this is a cabin on the river and summer activities are important to renters, would be good to invest in a new grill for renters as it is better for a summer activity . We brought our own portable grill the second time so we did not miss out. The river access is okay for people in shape and capable of climbing down rocks. So it is not totally blocked and all of us were fine with this, but understand why is was mentioned as not very accessible. It has 2 private bedrooms and a loft. 3 bathrooms (1 just toilet and sink) are awesome to have. Loft was great for younger children. Neighbors were great. Again, rated as 4 because of property condition with no grill. If you do not care about grill or are good with a rustic cabin, it is a great summer rental.

Winter get away

The property looked less appealing on the road side. We were kind of disappointed when we pulled up. Once we were inside, and saw the river it was much more appealing. The lay out worked well. We were hoping for snow, but there wasn't any, only rain. The neighborhood seemed a little rough around the edges. One house was up late making noise. We did enjoy our time however.

Awesome place, just needs a better BBQ!

Overall great place! The only area for improvement is the BBQ. It is worn out and cooks extremely slowly. Both tanks of propane were empty when we arrived too :( We did have the foresight to bring our own tank, but ended up using the stove to cook instead because the BBQ was frustratingly slow. Other than that the place was awesome! I hope this feedback helps! :)

Birdwatching

We saw many beautiful little song birds including one with yellow marks on its head and wings. There were also 7 little baby geese their parents seemed so proud to show us. I watched a white bird with a red head catch and attempt to eat a fish half its size head first. It was such a nice and peaceful setting. We also found a sketch book other guests have drawn in and it was cute.

Cozy family get away

Great value for the price! There was an issue with the heater and the management sent someone over to help right away! The pillows were not comfortable but the incredible views and gorgeous cabin more than made up for these minor inconveniences.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home and location. Kids had a blast. They definitely need to fix the disposal, water pressure, and AC. They were nice enough to have a crockpot there but the insert was cracked and wasn't super noticeable until it leaked all over the counter. Overall an excellent experience.

Weekend at Stevens

Absolutely loved this cabin on the river. We had a fast weekend get away to ski at Stevens. Kids loved the outdoor fire and having access to the river. Clean, affordable, easy to fine, easy to communicate with owner/manager via text, just wish we had more time to enjoy the hot tub under the stars.
