Cute cabin in the woods

Loved the property! Close enough to the shopping it was a quick 15 minute drive through the woods, and far enough away to enjoy the sounds of nature!

Ok place to stay.

I thought it would be bigger but not a problem. There was something that smelt dead in the master bedroom closet. Couldn’t use washer and dryer as there were no knobs that worked. Also the toilet had a small run to it at night. It could use some updates. But overall it was ok.

Convenient but a bit uncomfortable

Pros: not too much driving on steep curvy roads, quiet, close to main roads, bear sighting on property, has washer/dryer Cons: very uncomfortable master bed, only one couch and one lounge chair, only one shower, no instructions for getting arcade games or TV to work (six remotes was very confusing), very dark back porch with minimal view, poorly labeled address sign which made us miss the entrance twice when we arrived at night.

Nice location but deceiving

The cabin is conveniently located pretty close to downtown Pigeon Forge. There are some sharp turns and steep hills to get to the property, but nothing too major. The check-in process was smooth and we had no issues there. However, the cabin was a lot smaller than we expected it to be. The master bedroom bed is very uncomfortable and we woke up stiff and hurting pretty much every day. The only other beds in the cabin were bunk beds (we were aware of this prior, just didn’t expect the master bedroom bed to be so awful.) The worst part about the cabin was the bathroom situation. The only shower is located in the guest bedroom. The shower head was GROSS. It looked to have mildew/mold on it and the water reeked. Every time we showered it smelled like rust. The living room was nice but a lot smaller than we expected. There were 5-6 remotes for the tv which seemed to be excessive. The stove was missing a knob, so I’m not sure if you could use it if you needed to or not. The linens appeared to be clean and having a washer/dryer was nice (bring laundry detergent - not complaining about them not providing any.) We could only get one of the arcade games to work. There is no fan in the bedrooms and the ceiling fan in the living room makes a loud noise that does not stop. The back porch was nice. I did not like how the master bathroom had what looked to be an interior door that led out to the back porch with no lock. The porch is completely enclosed with no doors, but it still seemed sort of sketchy (and cold.) There was a deadbolt on the double glass doors that lead to out to the back porch that locked, but the doorknob lock did not work. Overall it was a decent stay, but I would not stay here again.

Few Issues but Beautiful place

We stayed just recently and loved the cabin, unfortunately, the water was out completely for 1 1/2 days of our stay. We were only there for 2 nights. We were unable to wash clothes, take a bath, wash dishes or cook. One of the gaming systems didn't work. We messaged someone who replied that it was after hours. We received a text at 8 the next morning asking if we were still having issues, replied yes, was told to contact someone on Monday, attempted to reach them, have not heard back. I've text 4 other numbers with same and have not heard back from property.

Cabin

The Cabin was small and cute. It is a curvy road to get to our cabin. Hot tub was nice. Main problem was water and plumbing not functioning properly for 2 days and we had to stay in hotel. We were told it was fixed only to find out it was not. We left early and stayed at hotel. I hope it is fixed before next guest because it caused undue stress on our vacation. Also needs bear cage for trash. Bears came twice and got in trash. We had to keep all trash inside. Communication with property company was good.

Good stay.

Good trip for us. Don’t take this review as negative just some observation. I would make sure all the remotes work in the future. The TV in the bedroom you could turn it on through the RoKo remote but we couldn’t find the way to turn it down it blared. The one in the living room never found a remote that worked for the TV. I would fog it for the roaches. Looked to be german roaches which are hard to get rid of. Not a lot of them but just letting you know. Thanks for letting us stay in your cabin. We would stay again. We love Tennessee.

Not relaxing

We were extremely disappointed...I got in the Jacuzzi Thursday night and the water had a cloudy brownish tint. I thought it may be due to being on a mtn and there was a little dirt in water. Next morning we got up to fix breakfast only to find out that 2 out of the 4 stove eyes only worked. Was missing a knob on one of them. Went to do dishes and the water was slow draining. Went to do laundry to find it was missing a knob to actually start the washer. The dryer ran for 1 hour and clothes still were not dry. Hot tub had a foul odor. 2nd bedroom did not have a TV. Livingroom TV was so old the picture was terrible. Master bedroom bed was like sleeping on boards. 1st night we barely slept and was so sore from laying on it. Saturday night the water sewer backed up into jacuzzi, sinks and toilet wouldn't flush. Maintenance man had to come to cabin at 10:00 at night when we were all ready to go to bed to look at it. Needed to be pumped but couldn't have it done till next day but we were checking out. It did not make for a relaxing week to pay that much money for crap. Suppose to be talking to the supervisor tomorrow.

Vacation

Overall the pictures of the place are a bit deceiving, drive way is horrible. We also lost all water for an entire day, and had no hot water for the last two days of the trip on top of that. The quietness of the neighborhood is very nice, and neighbors were amazing, but overall the property could use some updates and work.

Needs TLC

The cabin was cozy but needs some work. The stove has a burner out. The washing machine is missing the handles to be able to turn the dials. We used pliers. The video game machine has a short in it so it only worked part of the time. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and some of the dishes had been put away dirty. The floor had a slimy film on it through the whole house. I would have cleaned it again but couldn't find a broom or mop anywhere in the cabin. The hot tub was nice. With a little work it could be great.

Everything I expected and more

I wanted a sucluded, easy access cabin for an anniversary getaway. This cabin delivered plus more. Very clean, quiet, no steps to climb. Loved the screened in deck and hot tub. The jetted tub in the master bedroom is much larger in person than the picture. Definitely a bonus. Will book again.

Improvements needed

Pictures needs updating immediately. Stove needs new burner. Has a minor roach problem. The other bugs are fine because we was in the woods I get that no problem but the roach problem needs attention. Went to take a shower late at night and the water didn't come on until a hour later. Only get 10 channels with the cable. It's a nice cabin just need much needed TLC. My family wasn't happy with the choice. They first stay at a cabin was a disappointment.

Family 4th July weekend getaway

Property was nice but a little difficult to find especially hidden off misty lane. The master bathroom does not have a shower and that was difficult for quick showering. Also tried to set the air conditioning at 74 but it kept going back to 70 so everyone was cold at nights. Cute cabin though and really enjoyed the hot tub!!
