OK, But Disappointed
I had good communication prior to arrival and was greeted at the door. I quickly learned that I’d have access to a garage which was great so I could store my belongings and not have to carrying them upstairs. The following day I was greeted at my door with their dog having my box of tea bags in his mouth and several other personal items had been damaged.
Upon arrival (Dec 4), I asked for internet access code, wash cloths, toilet paper and a TV remote. Their son promptly provided wash cloths and toilet paper (as I was staying there 30 days). I was provided internet access. There was no TV remote in the room. Inquiring never got me a remote either. My friend bought me a Amazon Fire Stick as a Christmas gift. I asked the owner to come up and help me set up the TV. He came up immediately with a remote, but was unable to get the TV linked to the fire stick. He then used the remote to turn on the TV, but the TV screen was distorted like it was heading to a total blue screen. He stated that he needed to go buy another TV. I told him how important it was to me because of the holidays.
On Dec 19, I sent a text inquiring about the status of the TV and needing more toilet paper. I never heard from them again for the remainder of my stay (Jan 5). Very Disappointed!!!
It is also important to note for future guests. that there are no cleaning supplies, except a roll of paper towels, a broom and a dust pan. Bring your own dish soap, dishwasher tablets, bath soap, air fresheners(s), and any other cleaning supplies you typically need. Even more of a surprise, bring all your own condiments for cooking, even down to the salt and pepper!!!
