We could not have picked a better place to stay while we enjoyed the Surrey Hills. It was very peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. The property was clean and comfortable and the owners where very helpful. Would highly recommend.
This is an attractive, cosy and well equipped cabin in peaceful woodland on a farm. The owners are welcoming and kind. We had a very pleasant stay here, there are lots of lovely walks nearby and nice villages to visit. We hope to come back and explore further!

Perfect Seclusion
A very private cabin even though located on owners grounds. You will be given a contact number should you need to discuss anything with the proprietors, or you can even give them a knock. If it's peace, privacy and seclusion you are looking for this is the one.

A tranquil oasis in the lovely Surrey countryside.
Although we called it 'our shed', as the building had little architectural merit, we found it perfect for our requirements. We loved the feeling of seclusion and watching nature in our sunny glade.
This was the first hot week of the summer and we enjoyed relaxing on the veranda in the early morning and in the evening after busy days out. We were pleased that the chalet did not get unduly hot considering the weather.

Lovely little cottage!
This is the ideal place if you want some piece and quiet away from the city. The cottage is secluded in the woodlands about a 100 meter walk from the main house. Whilst being small and cosy, it still has all the amenities you need: good working wifi, flat screen tv and a well equipped kitchen. The heating also works well so that you can enjoy this place in any weather.
The surrounding area is a dream for walkers! Gill is very helpful and kind. There was even a little treat waiting for us in the cottage! Gill told us everything we needed to know about the cottage and the area and we felt very welcome.
I would highly recommend staying in this lovely hidden gem!

About the host
Hosted by Gill
I love living in the countryside - it's so quiet and yet really close to Guildford & London. I love my garden, something is always changing. I am currently expanding my flower boarders at the expense of my vegetable patch! I'm usually really busy making beds, cleaning etc. - we have quite a few different places to stay on the farm. I love to play tennis at the local club when I can get away in time. Relaxation is a walk across the heath to the local pub for a catch up or just chilling out with one of my 4 lovely daughters!
Why they chose this property
Lockhurst Hatch Farm dates from 1590 - the farm is set in its own valley with both pasture and woodland. I love living here because it is so secluded and unbelievably quiet - no close neighbours but easy reach of Guildford and London. Miles of open access heath and woodland on our doorstep.
What makes this property unique
Holly Oaks is a wooden cabin, standing in a woodland grassy glade, peaceful and secluded. Renovated in 2014, warm and comfortable with a contemporary feel.
