Beech Mountain House with Stunning Sunset Views - 1 Mile to Beech Mtn Ski Resort

The Beech Mountain House offers vacationers, hikers, and ski enthusiasts a well-maintained, multi-level home-away-from-home with spectacular year-round mountain views. Large furnished deck is the perfect place for peaceful mountain gazing or taking in a sunset. There is also a small yard great for kids to play in the snow or enjoy a sunny summertime afternoon. A few steps lead down from parking area to a catwalk entrance. The front door opens into a large open living room/dining/kitchen space with vaulted tongue and groove ceilings. Enjoy mountain views, a flat screen tv, and a stone gas fireplace in the cozy living room. Off of a back hallway on this level is the main bedroom with king-sized bed, private bath, and tv. A second bedroom with a queen bed and a full hall bath complete this level. 

The home's middle floor features a bunk room with twin bunk beds and an attached second sitting area with a futon, bar, tv, and entertainment nook with a variety of books and games. Enjoy a second deck off of this level for more great views. Another bedroom with a king bed is also on this level and attaches to a full hall bathroom. There is a full laundry room on this floor, as well. The bottom level is equipped with "skier’s entrance" mudroom for changing and storing winter gear and a game room with an air-hockey table and a cool hangout platform lounge with classic video games that is great for the kids. Great home for families with kids. 

Please note that for safety and security, we have three exterior security cameras, one by the front walkway, one by the back Ski Entrance, and one connected to the doorbell.

Amazing ski house

House was close to the lodge and very nicely decorated. Host was amazing and easy to contact with quick responses. We loved this house and hope to stay here again on our next ski trip!

Grand kids first ski trip

The house is beautiful and well equipped. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children, ages 1 through 7. The house is located about a mile from the ski lodge at Beech Mountain. Also, very good restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this house for your family.

Perfect house for Beech Mountain Ski getaway

This house is perfect for a Beech Mountain Ski Getaway! After a long day of skiing, the set up of the house allows the kids to relax downstairs while the adults enjoy each others company upstairs watching the sun set over the mountains! The hosts were very responsive to questions and extremely welcoming! 5 star experience all around!

Plenty of space and excellent location

This property was perfect for our vacation. There was plenty of room for our large family and friends. So close to Beech Mountain Resort. The game area was a big hit with the children and teens. Gorgeous views and easy to park 3 large cars. Would highly recommend staying here and plan to stay here next time we are at Beech Mountain.

Presidents Day weekend

This property was exactly what we expected and most importantly very clean. The homeowners were very quick to respond to all of our questions. The location is great to Beech Mountain Ski Resort. Would definitely recommend for a party if 6. Thanks so much for sharing your home with our family, as we celebrated an 18th Birthday and time skiing on Beech Mountain!

Family Fun

Out immediate family spent a long weekend in Beech Mountain. Our family group had a great time skiing at Beech Mountain and snow tubing in Hawks Nest. Our VRBO house was in a great location and provided everything we needed. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. The view from the main living area was incredible. The house does not disappoint. Great time in a great location.

Great mountain get a way!

We enjoyed our Labor Day long weekend in Beech Mountain to escape the summer heat back home. This was the perfect house for our family-4 adults and 2 little ones. The house was very clean and comfortable and the back deck view was beautiful…watched the sunset over the distant mountains each evening. The hosts communicated promptly with any questions we had. Would highly recommend!!

The home we stayed in was perfect in every way!! My mom, myself, my two daughters and granddaughters come every year and we decided while there that we are going to rent this home every year. We had a small issue and the owners responded quickly and they were amazing!! The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back!!!

amazing stay!

My family and I had an amazing stay at this rental. This property was CLEAN and I am very picky when it comes to anything being clean. It is exactly what was advertised and the owners were very nice and helpful when we needed anything. The views were amazing from the house and my kids enjoyed playing in the snow outside the house . We also were lucky to see a family of deer walking around, which was cool to see. The owners have thought of everything, made the home feel cozy, and made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this property and we will book again in the future.

Best place you could stay whole skiing Beech

We just got back from a truly memorable and magical long weekend in Boone. Adrian and Michelle were just so wonderful to work with. The place was perfect for our two families (4 parents and 6 kiddos). Kids loved the downstairs room offering games and freedom from us old folks. We loved the kitchen and views and bedrooms. Near Emerald Outback Hiking Trails

Great location, beautiful, sunset, views, looking over the valley to the mountains beyond. The home is near the crest of Beech Mountain and was just a short (5 minute) drive to the Emerald Outback Trails. The home was very clean, and extremely well equipped with almost anything you could have left or forgotten to buy. We especially appreciated the large quantity of coffee left for us to use. It was extremely generous of the owners. Beech Mountain Country Club is nearby, convenient for lunches or dinners and golf if you are a member. Excellent place to stay to enjoy cool mornings and evenings in the middle of the hot lowland summer. We will return.

Awesome weekend!

This house had plenty of room for our group! We put all the boys downstairs and they came and went thru the skier’s entrance. That was one of the most convenient aspects of the house! We came specifically for the kids to hit the slopes and it was so nice that they didn’t have to bring all their gear through the front door everyday. Also if you are coming to ski, the traffic coming up the mountain in the mornings is rough! We loved that the house was past the ski resort so there was no traffic to fight. There are plenty of tv’s for everybody. Definitely will stay here again!

Beautiful

The property was clean, location was a plus, closed to sky resort, trails. We went to eat to a few places and the food and the attention were the best! The property was beautiful, very quiet town, we enjoyed every day staying, the kids had an amazing time lots of games for them to play. We watch movies together!! I definitely recommend this property. We didn’t need to speak with the owners since we didn’t have any issues. Plenty of towels for everybody, laundry room with new appliances!! I love waking up to a beautiful view and having coffee. Do not hesitate, if you are coming this way this is definitely the property to rent. Thanks for such a wonderful week!! AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Best rental house that we have ever stayed in!

This was a wonderful experience all around. The location is beyond perfect and just north of the entrance to the slopes so you are going against traffic and it was so close! The house was soooo well stocked and everything was labeled! It was incredible! I literally even had tape and hot glue for the crafts. They thought of EVERYTHING that you could ever possibly need and supplied it. I kept being amazed with every drawer I opened. The VIEW… wow, just WOW! It’s mesmerizing and you won’t even want to leave the house. The gaming setup downstairs was such a great use of space and my son loved it. I can’t say enough good things about this rental. They were so good at communicating and very accommodating. Don’t hesitate, book now!

We both love to travel, and the mountains are our happy place! We love staying in vacation rentals when we travel because it truly can be a fun home away from home, and it inspired us to offer up our family's home to others. We live in NC and enjoy all of the beauty the state has to offer!

Why they chose this property

We both grew up hiking and spending time outdoors. We love all of the outdoor activities in Western NC, and we fell in love with the beautiful views on Beech Mountain. There are so many fun hikes, stunning waterfalls, gorgeous views, and fun activities to be found within a short distance that adventure truly awaits those who visit!

What makes this property unique

As soon as we saw the sunset view on the front porch, we fell in love with this place! We love the easy access and the fact that there are hiking trails right down the road. The town of Beech Mountain has such character with restaurants and shops right on the mountain, and the elevation means that the weather stays cool even in the middle of the summer. With so many outdoor activities on the mountain and surrounding towns there is no shortage of fun to be had no matter what season - from skiing, sledding, and tubing in the winter to hiking, biking, and fishing in the spring and summer to taking in views, attending festivals, and wine tasting in the fall!
