The property was just what we needed close to Fenway. Very clean and comfortable and the hosts were fantastic in their communications with me. 10 out of 10 and will certainly stay again for a Red Sox game.
We had a wonderful stay and the unit was perfect. However I must say with the cost of the daily rate I resent having to take out the garbage and strip the beds.

Be careful before you sign up for this property!
The property is generally acceptable given very high daily rent. However, the condition imposed for the renters are unreasonable. For example you cannot have a visitor. Period. Even occasional visit by the family. Leave your shoes outside the unit. Unreasonable and aggressive emails from the property manager cautioning you to keep the place clean. The AC quit working after two days and did not get fixed. Was directed to keep the AC ABOVE 70 degrees. Then there was noise of local trains until 1 am. I can go on and on…
So be aware of these issues before you sign up and pay exorbitant rent.
We could not have chosen a better location in the city or a nicer place to stay. The property was exactly as shown in the listing; a lovely one-bedroom condo with a very nice kitchen; a spacious shower and wonderful bath. We had interesting views of Beacon Street from our living room windows and a large and comfortable bedroom. The Green Line “T” ran right down the street and we used it often. We were able to walk to and from Fenway Park and many local restaurants. We would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Boston who wanted more than a hotel stay.

Wonderful Condo, Poor Owner Communication
This condo has many superior features. Great location near Kenmore Square. Train stop right across the street. Top-notch bakery and multiple restaurants nearby. Unit was comfortable and very clean. However, communication with owner was poor. Several times I left phone messages for her, regarding important concerns. She never returned a call. All communications from her came through the VRBO portal, via email. I did not check my email every day, and missed a very important and disturbing email on day 3 of my 5-day stay. I was notified that I was being charged (by her, but through VRBO) $1,000 for "breaking the rules," and "having a dog in the unit." She claimed a video camera clearly showed a dog entering the unit. There was never a dog, and I never saw a video camera. This communication was very upsetting, and I tried multiple times to call and email the owner. I spent many hours on the last day of my vacation trying to resolve this situation, as I was concerned that VRBO would charge me an additional $1,000. The miscommunication continued even after I returned home, as owner lamely apologized, and tried to backtrack her actions.
The apartment is very clean and in a great location. But be aware that there are no day guests although it isn't in the listing. My husband and I stayed there for my son's college graduation and my son and his brother were staying at his apartment. They would come over and we used it as a "home base"before venturing out for the day. I messaged the host for a couple of extra towels and a blanket and asked how to turn the big radiator heat off. We would open the window at night because of the heat and would have liked a blanket. We had two towels for two people for four days which in my opinion isn't enough when staying at a place. She then messaged me a payment request because she looked at her camera and saw my boys coming in. As it was a hectic and exciting weekend I paid it so that I wouldn't feel like I was going to get kicked out.I told her they weren't staying and the reply was to meet someplace else. Certainly not the response I would expect from a premier host. You should also be aware that in the evening the grease smell from the restaurant below drifts into the apartment. After booking the place last August I was also asked for more money because the rate was wrong. I added one night and she charged me more for the other three.I felt like I was being watched on camera and my husband was concerned where the camera was because you couldn't see one which made him feel uncomfortable. Be aware there are rules not listed in the description when booking.
Had a seminar at Boston College to attend. This place is an amazing location! Not too far from the college and walkable to Fenway for a game. Great neighborhood! Super cute apartment!
This was an absolute joy of a place to stay. Clean and very accessible to the train. Saint Mary’s station was just across the street. Nice and comfortable bed & linens. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom & shower were very nice! My husband ran in the Boston Marathon & I was able to see him running down Beacon street! A very safe and upscale neighborhood with wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Barcinos Italian restaurant is a few steps away. It was so good! We ate there 3 times. If we ever make it to Boston again , we would most definitely stay here again. The host Maria was very nice and promptly answered our questions. Check in couldn’t have been any easier!
Thank you so much for making this trip so easy! We had a great stay at this perfect apartment. We were bummed that the Whole Foods was no longer open but had easy access to so much in the area. Too bad it is already booked for our next visit. We will try to stay here again!

Wonderful place with city noise
Clean well-appointed apartment with simulated fire heater (not a fireplace with flames). Wonderful restaurants nearby but no Whole Foods (closed). Be advised it is a first floor apartment literally on the T line. Even with windows closed, you can hear it’s rumble at nearly all hours so if you aren’t accustomed to city sounds (cars, radiators, water pipes) this might be a drawback for you. Building tenants are quiet and expect the same. Furniture in great shape - because host requests you don’t eat on couch or bed. Host very responsive once we got in. But we did not get entry instructions until an hour after rental started. VRBO had system issues so inbox and chat inaccessible and host wasn’t answering phone. Probably a one-time glitch but we lost a few hours of enjoyment from that
The apartment was comfortable and very nicely decorated. The owner replied to all our emails quickly and paid attention to all our needs. The only downside is that it is on a Main Street with a lot of traffic and trolley noise. If the windows are closed, it is ok but when the weather was cool enough we liked opening the windows. It’s a great location, though, in terms of getting around the city.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully appointed condo. It is a fabulous location with an amazing restaurant next door and a fabulous bakery across the street. The trolley, Fenway, spa treatments, dining, are all right there!
Cute and clean little gem in great neighborhood. Maria was very accommodating with our constantly changing plans (college graduate). We would definitely stay here again.
This is a lovely property in a great neighborhood. The location is perfect, just steps away from excellent restaurants, Whole Foods, and the "T"! The apartment is very comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a modern, well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful bathroom. We look forward to staying here again soon!
This unit is very well maintained and pride of ownership shows. Very well decorated and up to date. We loved that the bathroom has 2 sinks with enough countertop area and several drawers to place our things. The full kitchen is very well stocked with cooking items and had a few extras like aluminum foil. The location has a Whole Foods just a few steps away which added to the ease of being out of town and being able to buy snacks and meal items. Between the unit and Whole Foods is Bar 'Cino, a great restaurant/bar that we visited several times during our stay. A great way to end the night after visiting the sites in Boston. We bought a metro card and learned to use the "T" public transportation system, adding to the adventure, and saving us quite a bit of money instead of Ubering everywhere. There is a station across the street from Whole Foods which was very convenient for getting into and out of Boston. The manager works in a spa next to the unit and was responsive and easy to communicate with.
The only but HUGE downside to this unit is that you have no control over the temperature control. When we arrived, the mall mounted AC unit in the living area was on, however, the one in the bedroom wasn't and we were hot. We reached out to the manager and she explained that prior damage had occurred from people setting it to 60 and leaving it, causing major condensation and water damage. She did turn the bedroom unit on for us and set it to 70. With both units on, we were comfortable but just felt weird that we couldn't control it.
Overall, we had a great stay.
This is an awesome property. Location is great, it is updated and sooo clean! We will definitely come back again. Thank you

About the host
Hosted by Maria
My love of travel, meeting new people, and experiencing new cultures have inspired me to host. I love yoga, water aerobics, bike riding, and taking walks—especially walks along the ocean, as I am fascinated by sunrises and sunsets. On my trips to islands, I enjoy rising with the sun and make sure that I'm at the beach in time to watch the daily miracle of the sun rising. This spectacular show of nature always takes my breath away. When I travel, I bring my yoga mat and usually do some yoga in the morning. I wake up, do some stretches, then go for a walk to explore the neighborhood in which I'm staying. Waking early is one of my most favorite things! The peace and quiet before the world has begun to stir is the perfect time for meditation, writing, exercise, and reading. I am an animal lover, however, pets are NOT accepted in any of our listings..Depending on the length of your stay, housekeeping provided at least one X per week. I do enjoy raw, vegetarian and macrobiotic food and a good movie. I looking forward to hosting you, and if is anything else you need during your stay, do not hesitate to contact me , I will do my best to make sure you have a memorable stay. Blessings, and good health always! Enjoy your stay
