Our friends and family talk about the 'spectacular' sea views. Especially down to Tahunanui Beach and across the Bay to the Takaka mountain range. We love the 13 minute walk to the beach via nearby Days Track and the 6 minute drive to Nelson township. The private deck is a great place for BBQ'g, dining, or just sitting and looking out to the sea. All this from a single access, secluded 50's style home!
Accommodating up to 6 people it's great for a small group, two couples or a family with older children wanting sole use of a casual and relaxing home. The second bedroom can be configured either as a superking or two single beds. Let us know what you would like spaces.
Lounge/Kitchen/Dinning: open plan space with polished wooden floors. Very well appointed kitchen with a gas hob. Deck comes off the dinning area.
Conservatory: linking the lounge to the deck. Helps keep the place cool in the summer, warm in the winter.
Main bedroom: Opens to own private deck. Ensuite with large shower.
Bedroom 2: Can be configured as two singles or superking, we'll be in touch to confirm once you book.
Bedroom 3: Two singles. Own entrance.
Bathroom 2: Toilet, shower and separate bath
Laundry: separate
We have a lockable garage with a small gym. It can be used to store bikes, kayaks and any other toys you might want to bring along. And there is a bike wash down area.
There's a gas BBQ outside, plenty of pans, platters, cooking utensils and wine glasses inside. There's a spa pool too; great for sunsets and star gazing.
For coffee lovers we have a Nespresso with lots of capsules and a plunger with local coffee. For tea drinkers there's a range of organic teas. There is also a soda water maker.
We're music fans so we have a high quality Naim stereo you can connect to via bluetooth.
Sorry the only TV is 'sky', best viewing time: sunset! Other channels: beach, bay and mountain... That's no TV, but you'll have access to to all you can eat wifi if you want to download onto your own devices.

Nelson Provincial Museum and World of Wearable Art and Collectable Cars are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Nelson Fun Park and Natureland Zoo. Queens Gardens and Pic's Peanut Butter World are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

We love travelling the world and meeting fabulous people. And there are so many of you out there! We particularly love the outdoors, the sea, the bush, forests, mountains and lakes. The air too, we're partial to a bit of paraglding and other air sports. When we bought in Nelson, we thought we got all that in one little town. Just fabulous! And we think it's great you're getting to experience it too.
Why they chose this property
Near the very top of Britannia Heights, Tiro Moana is a toally renovated 50's style home. It's surprisingly secluded with it's own private access.
The stunning and totally uninterrupted sea views extend 180 degrees and include Tahunanui Beach and the Takaka Hills across the Bay.
The place is in bathed in sun, especially in the afternoons with the lounge windows, kitchen, conservatory and large deck looking out to the West.
Everything is very fresh and clean with all new furniture added for a comfortable, enjoyable stay.
