We loved our stay! The town was so charming and quaint, and our accommodations were perfect for our girls weekend!! The porch was amazing, and it served the purpose for all that we needed. Such a cute little nest, would stay again if we are ever in the area.

Excellent Location

If you are looking for somewhere close to Main St and great restaurants this is the place. A wonderful, affordable place to stay, which is hard to come by in Fredericksburg.

Peaceful spot walking distance to downtown

Great place for Sister Getaway

This was a perfect spot for our Sister Getaway Weekend. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do, and the home was nice and clean. The Pizza place across the street was great too, so it was very convenient! It was a great weekend, thanks for helping us to make some great memories!!

Birthday Getaway

Superb location to Main Street Shopping! Private parking at the apartment made it so convenient! Inside the apartment was very comfortable and cozy. We happened to come during one of the rare artic blasts Texas experiences. They had salted the steps for us and requested we drip the faucets. No problem! We stayed nice and warm! Thank you for a great place to stay!

More than expected.

This is a fabulous find. As in pictures there is a full kitchen and very comfy beds. The pir h is great to watch stars. So close to restaurants and main street. We only walked to stores and restaurants. We hope to come back again to this place.

Fabulous Location

Property is exactly as described. Perfect location and walking distance to everything Downtown Fredericksburg has to offer. Property manager answered all questions is a timely manner. Check in and out were easy. Property was spotless and had everything we needed for a great getaway. No cleaning fee and providing all the paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, and coffee we needed was a an added bonus. Already planning a trip back next month.

Pleasant stay close to downtown.

We had a nice time at Agave Roost. The location was wonderful, right next to downtown (particularly the wine bar with singing pianist on the same block!) The apartment was spacious with a nice big open-plan kitchen/living room. The kitchen didn't have much more than the bare essentials in terms of cookware - and you'd need to bring any of the cooking basics with you, or get them from the H.E.B. supermarket five minutes away. There was a big bowl of coffee pods for the Keurig machine. The adjoining courtyard was great to relax and grill in. The beds were very comfortable; the upstairs bedroom had no closet but a sort of laundry cart that could be used for rudimentary clothes storage; neither bedroom had any hangers in them when we arrived but the host did respond very quickly to drop some off for us.

Would not stay here again

The property was clean but we found ants in the downstairs bed. Killed them and didn't have any recurrence. Also the unit was not equipped like others we have stayed in. No bath soap. No bowls in the kitchen. Tv was very limited as stated in your advertisement. Refrigerator freezer didn't keep ice cream frozen. No breakfast foods. Living room furniture had panels torn off. Overall felt like a low budget property.

Nice place

Easy check in/check out. Everything was clean. Plenty of towels but needed more wash cloths, and hand towels. Didn’t really have much provided as far as bath soap or body wash. There were large fire ants inside close to the window. Killed most of them, but I couldn’t find a broom to sweep them up. The location was great, definitely walkable to Main st. The porch was great! Had a great swing! Would recommend. The ants were the only big issue for me.

Great location!

The property was just as described. Thank the Lord for great AC working quite well in the unit! We appreciated that after waking in the 103 degree heat! The unit was very clean. The beds were quite comfy. The owner was correct in advising that you need to be ok with climbing stairs. They are quite steep so if you have an elderly family member you may think about renting one of their other units that is ground level. I took my 75 yr old mother with me for her bday weekend. She did ok with the stairs but had to take it slow. This unit was quite comfortable for our stay and we enjoyed ourselves. It’s in great proximity to restaurants and shopping which was great for us. There is private parking under shade that is right by the unit. Highly recommend.

Agave Roost - 3.5 Stars

You can't beat the location of this property if you want to be near Main Street but if you're a couple looking to getaway for a few days like we were, you may want to consider another place. Both beds were uncomfortable. The room with the king bed is upstairs in a loft-like room but the 1/2 bathroom attached to it did not flush and the ac unit made loud noises all night. Early Thursday morning seems to be a trash pick up day and of no fault of the owners, the trash trucks are extremely loud in the area. The kitchen is very big but there is no microwave and the coffee maker does not work (water sensor seems to be malfunctioning as it kept saying to add more water even when full). The water reservoir for the Keurig was also dirty and while it was nice to have a full size refrigerator with a water dispenser, the water filter is out of date. There are old carpet stains everywhere there is carpet in this rental (downstairs bedroom, stairs, and upstairs bedroom). The downstairs bathtub drain does not hold. We tried to lift and rotate the drain so it would stop collapsing but it didn't work; we ended up wedging a small shampoo bottle under it to keep it open so water could drain. Some of the blinds over the windows downstairs didn't work when we tried to open them. Additionally, there were wet sheets left in the dryer perhaps from a previous stay. Again, we did not report these issues to the owner because we worked around them and spent most of our time outdoors but yes, our stay could have been better with these corrections.
