Cute and charming romantic Cabin for two located right on Sproat Lake. NEW Hot tub. King bed. This lake is one of the cleanest and most pristine lakes located on Stunning Vancouver Island. This is your perfect getaway destination if your looking for a quiet and relaxing time. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove and fridge and all the ammenities you will need for your stay. Go kayaking or just relax on your private dock for the day. When you return to this quaint cottage just relax on your private deck overlooking the water. End your day with the romantic soaker tub and board games.Kayaks, paddle boards, canoe and life jackets are provided. Barbecue provided. Wifi included. TV included. Ideal for couples or singles getaway. We host many honeymooners. Tennis rackets and balls are provided for use at the tennis court located just 2km down the road. Walking distance to local restaurant and pub. Many bike trails just across the road.

An overnight romantic getaway
We stayed one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin was cozy and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. We relaxed in the hot tub while taking in the beautiful lake scenery. We would definitely stay here again.

Slice of paradise
Creatively laid out & elegantly furnished — this delightful cozy get-away is ❤️romantically charming❤️exceptionally equipped for cooking or entertaining ones-self😊and it is private & quiet. Access to the water, dock, a canoe & kayaks/SUPs for 2, including life jackets. The lake is visible, not only from the deck/uber-comfortable hot tub, but from inside the entire cabin. EVEN from the awesome stand-alone bathtub! Simply perfection. We were delighted to see a US Navy transport aircraft, built over 75 years ago, sitting along the opposite shore. Retired now, It eventually became a Mars Water Bomber, world-famous for fighting forest fires. Impressive. You NEED this! Trust me❤️ (Well done, Cathy Braiden, you have a gem of a rental — worth every penny.👌)

Wonderful weekend getaway
The cabin is well done, small and cozy, but perfect to spend some quality time with your special someone. The view was beautiful and you are right on the lake. The use of the canoe made for a pleasant evening paddle along the lake. The property is just 15 min from Port Alberni making it quick to grab a bite at any time. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

This lovely cabin has its own beach on a beautiful lake. The deck is large and furnishings are comfortable. We enjoyed using the barbeque. The sunsets are stunning. The cabin was so cute and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved it.

A beautiful stay with a serene view of the lake!
It was a beautiful, quiet getaway with a great view of Sproat Lake. The cabin was well decorated and had a great variety of water sports equipment that we used (kayaks, canoe, paddle boards) and Coco was a great visitor throughout the day!

The cabin was just what we needed for our getaway. Everything that we could possibly need was there. The lake access for kayaking was tremendous, and the weather was superb! We look forward to a return visit.

Private, Neat, Modern, Clean. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and that the utensils, dishes etc are all matching. Having a couples bath in the kitchen, with an open concept was surprisingly wonderful ! Loved hanging out on the dock in the morning quiet and gorgeous at this time of the Year.

My wife and I had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary here at this little cottage. Perfect for those who like kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddle boarding. Weather was perfect so we could explore and even get a swim in one afternoon

Wonderful hideaway
This was our 2nd year returning and will not be our last. Beautiful cabin with modern updates (a/c!) and tidy layout. Perfect getaway for a couple who enjoy peaceful quiet, kayaking and eating bbq on a water front deck. Cathy is a wonderful host, very amenable to any requests and thoughtful towards her guests. Highly recommend!

Our favorite spot!
This cabin has become our favorite spot for a summer 'staycation' on Vancouver Island. The cabin is super cute and stocked with everything one (or two!) might need for a fun and relaxing getaway, and the location cannot be beat. We loved the new additions of A/C and the SUPs. The only problem is that it's always SO hard to leave! Thanks for sharing this slice of paradise with us, Cathy. See you next year!

Absolutely Amazing !
Just spent 8 days at the Love Shack and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The cabin is super cute with everything you would need, the view outstanding, the water clean and warm and that dock lounger was just the best! Hosts Cathy and Owen were wonderful. It was hard to leave but we will be back next year. Stay here, you won’t regret it.

We love the setting on the beach. Now there are paddle boards as well as the kayaks. Wifi is pretty reliable fortunately as cell service is close to zero. Kitchen supplies are good. Serving plates are a little quirky.

Perfect Lakeside Getaway
We stayed a week at this wonderful cottage, taking in the lake views, hiking and canoeing. The May weather cooperated enough for one tanning session on the private dock 😊. The hosts were friendly and responsive, and the cottage was well stocked, including with Kayak, canoe and SUP boards. The lake is beautiful and crystal clear. Highly recommend!
