3 Bedroom (queen beds) , 2 Bath ( sleeps 6 comfortably) summer cottage in Historic Ocean Grove, NJ.- just a few blocks from the beach & an easy 10 minute walk to Asbury Park. De-stress on the front porch! This home includes six
adult beach badges, Optimum TV/internet, washer/dryer, patio w/ BBQ grill, beach chairs & umbrellas are also available /provided. Landlord provides blankets, pillows and bath towels. Tenant to provide their own bed linens. Enjoy Ocean Grove's quaintness or Asbury Park's energy with great restaurants, shopping & entertainment. 7 day minimum stay preferred during peak season.

Great Place!

We loved our stay at the grove summer cottage! Check in process was easy. We loved the old cottage-y feel to the place. I would definitely stay here again! Close walk to stores and the beach/boardwalk. The food on the boardwalk was fantastic.

Great location

Enjoyed being so close to the beach and everything ocean grove and asbury has to offer. Beach toys and gear were left for us which was awesome. Thanks for the stay!

Beach Stay

A wonderful beach house, with all necessities and comforts provided, centrally located near the beach, and the main street in town. The hosts are extremely responsive and accomodating,, and make you feel truly welcome.

Perfect for a Family

Perfect for the family (4 adults and 1 infant). Plenty of beds and room, more than we needed. Quaint little kitchen with dining area, front and back porch to eat and have drinks. Stair cases to upstairs are very narrow. Light switches are outdated, but once you figure them out, it's not a problem. We met with family at a different beach and couldn't take advantage of the beach badges provided, but they're very convenient.

Such a gem

I almost don't want to leave this review because I don't want the secret to get out....Jim's house is SO lovely and could not have been more perfect for our group of 3. It was very spacious, fully stocked with more than I've come to expect from a vacation rental, and an absolutely dreamy location. The best beach house our group has ever stayed in up and down the shore. Thanks so much to Jim and his family for being such generous hosts!

Great location

This was a great location close to the beach and walking distance to many shops/restaurants. The house had everything we could need for the weekend and we especially enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the mornings.

Another great weekend

We had another great weekend and plan to stay again next year. We especially love the front porch, wonderful neighbors, great hosts, and the back patio. Super close to the beach. We were able to park our car and use our bikes to get everywhere. Only a few blocks away from restaurants and shops on Main St.

Wonderful getaway

James is an amazing host - responsive, hospitable and generous. The house is charming, warm and welcoming. It's nicely furnished, and a great space to relax in, with both a front porch and back patio for hanging out. All necessities are supplied, as well as nice attention to detail in the quality of the linens, mattresses etc. The location is perfect for walking to the beach or the center of town. A 5 star experience in every respect!

Location and porches and backyard were great

Not a place for older people. The step to get on the porch was too high. After the third day my knee was shot. Kind of ruined my vacation. I’m a very active 85 years old. But the uneven steps did me in.

Great OG home!

Our family had the perfect Ocean Grove vacation In this comfortable, spacious, charming home! We loved the breezy front porches and yard in the back. The location cannot be beat! East walks to town and the beach. The beach passes, towels, beach chairs, washer dryer, 2 bathrooms—everything you need!! Jim and his wife were wonderful hosts. We all had an amazing week and we’d definitely stay again!!

Great beach house!

Very responsive and flexible owners, the place is well located, a short walk to the beach and Ocean Grove downtown. The front porch is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day- and there are great neighbors to chat with! We had an amazing stay and will be back!

Quaint Cottage, Great Location

My husband, son and niece spent a long weekend at this rental. It's a charming house with lots of indoor and outdoor space. The back patio, front porch and upper deck expand the usable space. It came stocked with convenient items such as paper products, hand soap, dish soap and coffee filters. We found the interior to be clean, with lovely, beach-y decor and comfortable beds. There are loads of doors and windows that can be opened to catch the breezes. We enjoyed it's central location, and were it not for visiting family in Belmar, we could have easily parked once and walked everywhere. It is, of course, convenient to the beach. This is advice in the "set your expectations accordingly" vein: This is a cottage - the kitchen is bare bones (smallish, old-school, no dishwasher) but I was able to bake and make food to bring to an offsite brunch for 12, so manageable; the weekend's weather was moderate and not too hot....just plan to make good use of the fans and window units on 90 degree plus weather. Overall, it was en excellent experience with responsive hosts.

Great place!

I had a great time with my friends at this quaint house in Ocean Grove. Easy walk to the beach, downtown, and Asbury Park nearby. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the house had lots of space to gather both inside and outside.

Wonderful stay in ocean grove

Great family vacation! Excellent location and wonderful house!

From start to finish, we had a wonderful experience renting this home. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful. The house was lovely and clean! The location could not have been any better! Down the street from the beach and just blocks to great restaurants and quaint fun shops. We would love to come back next year!
