Newly remodeled cabin with large waterfront lot, dock space available for your boat or pontoon. Available year round for all your summer, fall, winter activities. Cozy, clean and fully stocked. Ready for you and your family to enjoy!

This Fall and Winter, enjoy the nearly 100 miles of trails in Barron County. ATV and Snowmobile trails near our property. Duck hunting and ice fishing are steps away from the cabin.

Very nice Cabin

Cabin was very clean, and owners were very friendly. Has a little dock for a boat and a fish cleaning station. Perfect place for a couple fisherman to stay!

Quaint Cabin

Very nice cabin in a quiet neighborhood on the lake. Accommodations were accurately described in listing. Host very responsive and accommodating when we had an unexpected change to our travel plans. Would stay here again if we revisited the area.

Cozy lake getaway

Great property on a lake that close to town. Nice clean and comfortable cabin that is easy driving distance to town. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Fishing trip back to Prairie Lake

Owner quick to answer questions and fulfill request. Area to clean fish was good. Maybe could use a light to clean later at night. Cabin very well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Plenty of room to park several cars. The walkout basement cuts some of the walking that is needed on a hill to get to the dock. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Chetek area.

This place looked exactly as advertised! We were impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was, which made meals much easier. Plenty of towels and blankets. Very clean and the communication with the owner was great! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay on a lake!

Perfect lakefront stay

This is a cozy, newly remodeled lakefront home with a boat dock that is located on the Chetek chain. We brought our boat and we had access to six lakes. There are numerous bars and restaurants you can stop at along the way with some great bluegill fishing! Cathy was easily available if we needed anything and provided all the basic necessities such as paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, towels, sheets, a coffee maker and K cups, and a fish cleaning station. The location was perfect! The town was an easy 5 minute drive and the boat launch was 3 miles away. We would not hesitate to rent from Cathy again!! Book this place!

Better than we ever imagined!!!

This clean, beautifully decorated, inviting property made for the perfect vacation spot. The beds were comfortable and the fire pit had the most beatiful view. The deck is spacious and offers a picturesque view each morning and evening. Cindy is a kind and considerate owner and we will absolutely be reserving it again. You would be silly to pass this place by.

We wanted a quiet getaway for the 2 of us for a long weekend. The cabin was clean, neat and fully stocked. The neighborhood was quiet. We watched lots of boats pass through the channel.

Great Little Getaway

We have stayed in a lot of nice VRBO cabins, but this one was exceptional. Immaculately clean, very well stocked kitchen with high end utensils/pots and pans, and very comfortable beds and furniture. We lucked out on the summer weather, too, so we were able to have all of the windows open to hear the birds and feel the breeze. Very enjoyable stay indeed :-)

Beautiful Property

The cabin was exactly as described. The lake was beautiful and we caught the largest sunfish and perch I have ever seen. Also caught bass and walleye. Only items I would add is mirrors in bedrooms since there is only one bath and a table on the deck.

Exceeded My Expectations

The property exceeded my expectations; I was afraid as a "fishing" spot it might be a little rustic. Everything was top notch. It was a pleasant surprise to find a refreshing drink in the refrigerator when I arrived - no need to go out to a convenience store late in the evening. I had problems opening the door (completed MY fault), but emailed property manager/owner and was in within minutes. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Great romantic getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at this cabin. The cabin was comfortable and cozy, the deck was amazing to sit on and drink coffee in the morning. We had a chance to go fishing and made bonfires at night. Highly recommend this owner as well, she was very quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect cabin for a family or friends getaway!

This cabin was exactly what my sister, her grand kids, and I needed after what has been a pretty rough year. Cabin was located at the end of a quiet road, right off the water. We watched as pontoon boats would go by off and on throughout the day and late evening. We all loved the cabin, the the kids really LOVED the cabin. My great niece, who can be pretty active, kept saying how much she "loves this cabin" , over and over. They both wanted to come back every weekend. We kept busy exploring the local area, and even took a long evening walk. Everything was very very clean. We could tell that this family takes very good care of their cabin. Cathy, our Hostess, had provided everything we needed, including extra sheets if someone wanted to sleep on the couch. Beds were very comfortable. Response was very quick, within minutes. The cabin was really close to Chetek, which is a small tourist town right on a lake. We didn't realize how cute this town was....bakery, candy store (didn't make it there), burger/icecream drive-in, nice beach, which was also very clean. We would definitely come back here again, and would recommend it to our family and friends.

Wonderful experience all around!

This place is such a lucky find! Clean and super comfortable and the location is awesome. We felt like we had tons of privacy and enjoyed the deck for sunny days. A super quick drive to Chetek or Cameron and Cathy left great recommendations for dining and shopping in the area. The cabin is very modern with all the amenities and the host is more than accommodating! 5 out of 5 stars - we hope to visit again!!

This property is perfect for relaxing, fishing, soaking up the sun, boating, ATV/snowmobiling, duck hunting, ice fishing. This home can be used year round!

What makes this property unique

Snuggled on a dead-end road with large yard and beautiful view and access of Prairie Lake. Large deck and walkout basement. On this chain of lakes, there are numerous bars and restaurants to visit as you spend countless hours on the water.
