About this property

This old stone house, fully renovated with great taste, is located in La Coste, at the foot of the Massif du Caroux. It offers a magnificent view of the Héric gorges which is an exceptional tourist site.

We have worked hard to renovate it to allow you, I hope, to spend an unforgettable holiday!
Housing

On the ground floor you will find two bedrooms. (+ cot if necessary)
Bathroom with bath and sink, separate toilet.
Library corner and play area for children.

On the floor: kitchen equipped with any comfort and all the kitchen utensils for six people.
Living room, dining room: with fireplace, armchairs, sofa, TV, DVD player, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool and garden.

A third bedroom is upstairs with en-suite bathroom with shower and sink, separate toilet.

All rooms are equipped with an air conditioning and electric heating system.

The house has a terrace with sun loungers and barbecue for grilling.

The pool can be heated on request from 01 April to 15 November for a fee of 60 euros per week. It measures 7. 30 x 3. 30 m

Traumhaft!

Ein wunderschönes, gut eingerichtetes, gepflegtes Haus in einer traumhaften Umgebung. Ruhig gelegen und ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt, um die schöne Gegend zu erkunden. Wunderbar!

Wir durften die ersten beiden Wochen im Juli mit unseren Zwillingen (8 Jahre), meinem Bruder und unserem Hund in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbringen. Das Haus ist sehr schön restauriert, es fehlt an nichts und wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. Von dem sehr schön gestalteten und gepflegten Garten und aus dem Haus kann man tolle Aussichten auf die wirklich einzigartige Landschaft genießen. Direkt vom Haus aus haben wir immer wieder neue Wege auf den Hundespaziergängen oder auf Erkundungen mit den Kindern entdeckt. Der Gorges d‘Héric ist fußläufig schnell zu erreichen und es gibt sehr viele Wandermöglichkeiten direkt vom Haus aus. Wir alle, und besonders die Kinder, haben den Pool sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin Sylvie ist sehr aufmerksam, gibt immer wieder Tipps für schöne Unternehmungen und reagiert immer prompt auf Anfragen. Ich habe schon in vielen Regionen Frankreichs Urlaub gemacht, aber diese wunderschöne Gegend kannte ich bisher noch nicht und dieses herrliche Haus eignet sich hervorragend, um dort alles zu erkunden. Vielen Dank an Sylvie für diese schönen zwei Wochen im Juli!

Ein Traum / Un rêve

Wir haben wunderbare Tage in diesem schönen Ferienhäuschen verbracht. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, man kann zu Fuß sowohl nach Mons als auch zu schönen Wanderungen und Radfahrten direkt vom Haus aus los. Die Einrichtung ist absolut geschmackvoll und es ist alles vorhanden. Sylvie war total nett und hat uns bestens umsorgt. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. La maison est parfaitement située, on peut aller à Mons á pied ou partir en randonnée à pied ou en vélo de la maison. Le gîte est très bien equippé, il ne manque rien. Sylvie est une hôtesse super sympa et très attentive. Nous aimerions bien revenir. Merci Sylvie et à la prochaine.

Spacious quality gite at fantastic location for Gorges d'Heric.

My spouse and I enjoyed a truly superb week in April at Les Serres du Rousselou. It offered everything it promised from the web site and would have been spacious even if fully occupied. A quiet location with fantastic views across the valley and to the Gorges d'Heric. Beautifully modernised but yet retaining rustic charm, the property met all our expectations. Ornamental and wild flowers around the property provided a tranquil and welcoming setting as well as attraction for pollinators. A relaxing swim in the pool could ease the aches of keen hikers even in cool weather. Our charming and professional host, was discreet yet available if needed for any assistance. A very memorable week.

Tolle Wanderungen direkt vom Haus aus

Wir haben in den Osterferien 2023 zwei tolle Wochen hier im Objekt verbracht. Die Zufahrt ist etwas steil und bei entgegenkommenden Autos muss man etwas vage mutig sein. Fuß läufig (1,8 km) ist an einer Tankstelle ein Brotdepot verfügbar, so dass man täglich auf frische Baguettes zurückgreifen konnte. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet und in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man kann in der Gegend tolle Ausflüge machen und braucht dafür noch nicht mal unbedingt das Auto. Vom Haus aus starten tolle Wanderungen in unterschiedliche Richtungen. Besonders interessant ist die alte Bahntrasse für Fahrradfahrer. Nach einer Wanderung auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang in den Bergen zu genießen, war ein Highlight. Vielen Dank an Sylvie für die tollen Ausflugstipps . Das Objekt ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Wundervoller Urlaub :-)

Das Haus ist wunderbar, sehr sauber und so hell und freundlich eingerichtet, das man sich nur wohl fühlen kann. Auch am Pool und auf der Terrasse haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Schön ist, dass man das Auto kaum benötigt, man kann wunderschöne Wanderungen vom Haus auch machen. Wir haben 2 traumhafte Wochen hier verlebt und werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Perfect vibes!

The property was just what we wanted and more! The house and garden were perfect, and we couldn’t believe how good the views were. The location was fantastic, as it was quiet and remote but with lots to do nearby. The house looked amazing online but if anything it was even better in reality! Sylvie was an excellent host and we really hope to return as soon as we can. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a holiday in the south of France.

Superb Property and Location

The house is in a beautiful part of France and particularly well located on a hill near some incredible hikes. Besser gehts nicht :-)

Wir haben zwei traumhafte Wochen in dieser Unterkunft verbracht. Das Haus, wundervoll gelegen mit traumhafter Aussicht in die Berge, ist sowohl innen als auch aussen wunderschön restauriert. Hinzu kommt noch eine überaus geschmackvolle Ausstattung, die es wirklich an gar nichts fehlen lässt, so etwas hatten wir vorher noch nie. Die nähere Umgebung (Gorges d`Heric, der Fluss Orb und das nette Örtchen Mons la Trivalle) können sogar zu Fuss erkundet werden, wenn man etwas Laufen nicht scheut. Größere Wanderungen sind auch direkt ab Haus möglich. Danach kann man herrlich am und im schönen Pool ausruhen. Ein großer Supermarkt befindet sich nicht direkt in der Nähe, aber die kleinen verwinkelten Geschäfte in den Dörfern haben wirklich alles was man benötigt (besonders der Bäcker und Metzger in Olargues). Dazu noch die verschiedenen Wein-Kooperativen, all das macht einen Supermarkt wirklich überflüssig. Wir wissen nicht, wann wir wieder in diese Region kommen werden, aber dann auf jeden Fall wieder in diese Unterkunft.

Une semaine parfaite

La maison est belle, parfaite (j'ai même pu utiliser la piscine, en octobre) et fonctionnelle. La météo était au rendez-vous et nous avons pu mettre à profit les excellents conseils de Sylvie pour les randonnées. Merci à elle pour sa bienveillance et le temps passé à constituer le classeur plein de bonnes idées. Nous repartons avec de beaux paysages plein la tête, et avec le sentiment d'avoir passé une excellente semaine.
