New POOL! The Laughing Fish is a completely refurbished beach house inside and out! This property has just been renovated and professionally decorated. It offers a unique decor with comfortable furniture, charming antiques and original Pensacola art. The beautiful ceilings and woodwork are local cypress.

Enjoy gorgeous views of the Santa Rosa Sound. It looks like the Caribbean! This home was previously two separate units to accommodate two families. The owner of this gorgeous home has combined the two units and created the perfect five-bedroom, seven-bath home for large families!

On the east side of the home there are three bedrooms and 3.5 baths (two Jacuzzis) and sleeps 13.

All 3 bedrooms provide beautiful water views and all bedrooms have their own bath and balcony. One of the master bedrooms has a king bed. This bedroom opens to a huge 625 square foot deck which offers panoramic views of the Sound and the island.
The second master bedroom has two queens and a private deck overlooking the water.

The third bedroom is a bunk room that offers a twin over twin bunk and futon with private bath. This bedroom also has a picture windows overlooking the water.

All of the beds and the sofa sleeper (@ den) are new and have new gel foam (very comfortable) mattresses. You WILL want to come back!
The open floor plan @ the den/ kitchen has a wall of sliding glass doors that open to decks overlooking the Sound. The gourmet kitchen is very well equipped with a 48" Thermador professional stove and a new, large microwave drawer. Everything you need is there!
On the west side of the home there are two bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Sleeps eight comfortably.

There is a king bed in the master, a king bed + futon in the second master and a new (very comfortable) sleeper in the den. All the beds and mattresses are new and have super comfortable gel foam mattresses. Both of the bedrooms have private baths, jacuzzi tubs and balconies with wonderful views.

The open floor plan @ the den/ kitchen + balcony presents a very gracious space for entertaining. The large kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need.

The home offers two full laundries and all of the bedrooms in the house have TV's.

The roof top deck is HUGE (625 square feet) and is easily accessible from any floor. It is safely fenced and furnished with beautiful Polywood Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges. The views are panoramic and you can see the whole island from this deck.

It's an AWESOME spot to hang out, drink coffee or your favorite drink!

Because of the way this house is positioned, we get the sunrises AND sunsets!
GORGEOUS!

Balconies and walkways abound. EVERY room has a balcony!

The pier is spacious, with steps leading to the shallow water. The Sound is normally very calm, so kayaking, paddle boarding, (just floating), etc are very popular. Because of the shallow water, it is a wonderful and safe place for children to play.
And FISHING. The water is so clear that you can see the fish!

The Laughing Fish has a sandy beach leading to the pier, complete with Polywood Adirondack beach furniture. There is also a gas grill and picnic table.

There is also a boat slip, so bring your boat (or rent one)!

The views are just amazing. And you will also enjoy seeing the sailboats and water activities. The property is fenced.

The walk to the Gulf is only five minutes. The Laughing Fish is a five-bedroom / seven-bath house with two kitchens and two laundries. It's PERFECT for multiple families!

Perfect for the 21 of us!

Reviewer Comments: We had 21 family members stay here for a week...plus kids' college friends over one night for grad party... perfect place for all of this! Five bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, plus two extra bathrooms near two separate living rooms. Great views, pool, dock! I'm not sure what more you could ask for! Two washers and dryers, and a fully stocked kitchen (pots/pans/etc). We had an issue with the garbage disposal, made a phone call, and they promptly fixed it.

Beautiful property- loved location & home

The only issue with this property is the coffee maker was broken, the dishwasher didn’t work properly & wasn’t installed properly (so if you opened it it tipped over & fell on your feet), also fridge is very small for the amount of people that the home sleeps. We had to hit the grocery often.

Paradise Beach Homes were easy to deal with and very receptive to answering any questions. They were very good to let client know if anyone needed to come to the house for any reason. The only downfall was no elevator and a bit difficult for those with medical condition(s) that make climbing stairs difficult. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy this wonderful home. I would definitely recommend a stay here, as the gulf is only a short walk. Deep sea fishing with follow up to Peg Leg Petes Restaurant to cook our haul was an amazing experience enjoyed by all! We also rented pontoon boats to see Crab Island and enjoy the Destin area. The only additional amenity I would have loved is the ability to heat the pool. The kids got in it anyway, but it felt like ice water to me, and the sound was warmer. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We made some great memories and shared great food, fun, and fellowship with the family together!

Really Disappointed

Reviewer Comments: When we first arrived the outside looked beautiful, then when you walked in the house the Oder was terrible it took your breath away we had to go get Lysol and candles there was no way we was staying with that smell so we opened the doors to air out I got over that but it didn’t stop there none of the jacuzzi’s worked really upset with that, then our son went to bed the first night and as he was sleeping the picture above the bed fell off the wall and landed on his head why he was sleeping!! The nails y’all used are something else!! Then My daughter and granddaughter arrived the next day my granddaughter went to go to sleep in the bunk bed that night, well that didn’t last long she had me come in there she was laying on the bottom bunk but whoever stayed before us soiled the top bunk it was absolutely disgusting!!! So that room we did not use for the entire stay the sheets in the dbl bed room had stains on the sheets along with the comforters having big bleach stains all over them the furniture was terrible the couches are so worn out very uncomfortable and y’all’s coffee table that’s homemade with and old receptacle cut out of the top nice!!! Seriously!!! I’ve seen it all now what’s really sad is I tried to contact paradise beach homes but no response except for this review they sent me. I called left message for someone to contact me but nothing I text they said they would get back with me then went to office and they were closed but the lady at desk would not come to the door. Our family all met here cause this was our family vacation. I’ve rented a lot of homes and this by far was the worst stay ever!! The third day we were all setting at the table and there was a cockroach I know were in Florida and I hear it’s common but after our first 3 days of everything else why not! Just want to say we planned this all year to spend with our adult children and our grand daughter it was such a let

Floor in kitchen was very sticky. Bathrooms were not clean. There were small roaches in the kitchen during the stay.The kitchens were very well stocked with usefull items. Aside from the kitchen and bathrooms, the house was nice and clean.The only other problem was the HVAC. Upstairs bedroom were unbearably hot. In order to maintain a tolerable temperature, the downstairs thermostat had to be set at a very low temperature which made the downstairs area very cold.

Great Stay-cation!

We stayed in the pool almost the entire time. Our pontoon boat fit the dock perfectly and was a lot of fun to have there. Construction next door but the workers were very courteous and didn’t work at night or early am. The views were amazing and the house was well equipped and clean.

Fun with family despite the management

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was fine - I don’t see how 23 people could fit - we had 18 and had to use blowups. But there was room and the living area was great. The ladder to the water is dangerous so we did struggle to enter and exit the sound. The pool was great to have. The woman in the office was not helpful when we left. We left behind an important necklace on the railing by the pool and she refused to go check and see if it was still there. I called to ask her at 3:20, well before checkin at 5:00, and she said guests were already there. (Earlier that week when I checked in she would not give me the codes 26 minutes early!) so my granddaughters necklace is gone. But we enjoyed the week.

Leaks, leaks and more leaks

We are in FL so of course it’s gonna rain but this place needs to be pulled off of the market. The room with bunkbeds had leaks everywhere in the ceiling and we finally ended up putting the bed in the middle of the room and put pans down to catch the leaks. The tub in the same room had a hole in it so no way of taking anything but a shower and the water ran out of the shower down to the carport area below. The sundeck with the rubber roof was spongy in many places because the plywood is rotten underneath and I’m sure that is what is causing the leaks in the room below it We were totally disappointed in the exterior, the pictures you have posted are totally deceiving from what it actually is. We will never stay here again. The pool was great and the dock but that’s about it. We also had one remote to use to change channels on an upstairs and down stairs tv. If someone tells you this place was great then they did not use the bunkbed room or go on the sundeck. I feel like we should get some sort of refund for all the inconvenience. We definitely learned a valuable lesson using Vrbo and certainly trust you will do the right thing in order to gain our trust back. ….. I also notified Pensacola Beach properties by phone and email and have heard nothing back from my email and the phone call sent someone out to take pictures and change the bedding in the bunk.

A Really Good Reunion

Plenty of Room for a Big Family!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family recently spent a week in this large home and had a wonderful time. Having 2 kitchens, 2 laundry room areas and 2 dens was a plus! Every bedroom has its own bathroom plus there are 2 half bathrooms. One thing to note is that only 1 of the bedrooms (the bunk room) is off of the main living area. The 4 other bedrooms are upstairs, so there are a lot of stairs to navigate both getting into the house and then up to the bedrooms. There is no elevator. The pool is beautiful and everyone enjoyed the pier for fishing. We tied a large float to the pier and the kids enjoyed floating in the sound. (I note there is no beach to the pier per the home's description. It has been replaced with rocks.) The walk to the beach is just 5 minutes away. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I note that the house is in need of an exterior paint job, and the slip-covered sofas need new slip covers. The house has some wear and tear, and these 2 changes would greatly improve the feel of the place. All-in-all, the house is great, but just needs some TLC at this point.

Pensacola Wedding/Vacation

We came to town for a family wedding from South Dakota. We had 10 adults, 3 toddlers and 3 infants so this property was excellent for each family to have their own bedroom which also had a bathroom. The pool provided endless hours of fun for the toddlers and the underneath area adjoining the pool was great. There were some minor maintenance issues with the property we advised them about when we checked in but nothing that needed to be fixed, just regular maintenance issues. We overall loved this place.

Spacious Beach House

We had 5 families for a long weekend at the house. We loved that every room has a balcony and a bathroom. The kids loved the pool and being on the water. Plenty of parking!

Great Place For A Family Beach Retreat

Great beach house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a family reunion at the beach house and it fit the 14 of us easily. Having 2 kitchens was a huge help with all the food and beverages. The pool was the highlight of the house, we used it constantly when we were not at the beach which is only a 5-10 minute walk. The house is as described, the location is perfect, nice quiet neighborhood. Furnishings were comfortable. Luckily we got in early as our flight landed 4 hrs before actual check-in time. Management company was very nice and check-in was super easy. There is a free trolley which takes you to the restaurants, bars and shoppes. Great way to travel as parking is a nightmare. Would definitely recommend staying in this beach house. Lots of space for groups or be able to go off by yourself.

Multi Family Vacation

Reviewer Comments: Three families, 6 adults and 8 children, stayed for one week at the rental. The location was great and just as described. We enjoyed having 2 kitchens, and especially the sitting area under the houses. The rental company was fine to work with. We managed to enjoy the week and the vacation but we very disappointed with the house. The description states that it sleeps 23 but in reality only sleeps 10 adults comfortably. First, the sleeper sofas were in very poor shape and not at all comfortable and were in the living areas of the house (not what I would consider a den), the bunk beds were ok for kids but very unsteady and not suitable for adults, and the futons were barely big enough for a young child. Water dripped from the air conditioning vents when running making puddles on the tile floor. Another disappointment was the water in the sound, though there is nothing the owners can do, but it was brown and murky with algae and nothing close to the Caribbean as advertised. Maybe this changes through the year. And finally we saw and killed more than one cockroach in each kitchen area! I would not return to this rental nor recommend it to others.

Ensenada Uno 1705 - THE LAUGHING FISH

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We wanted to rent a property that would accommodate our entire family and this certainly did. The layout of house was ideal and provided the perfect amount of privacy considering our group consisted of 6 couples with additional teens and children. This was a beautiful unit that was thoughtfully decorated, very clean and extremely spacious with a great floor plan. The pool was very nicely maintained and the nearby water access with pier was awesome. I would recommend that the owners/managers consider offering the rental of a jet ski as an option. There were several beach access locations located very close to the unit, and Pensacola Beach with all its shops was just a short drive down the road. Although this unit advertises that it will sleep 23 people, it will only sleep 18 adults comfortably. The remaining 5 people will be expected to sleep on very short "click-clack" type sofas, which was sufficient for the many children in our family group. The area beneath the house is open and perfect for cooking or just hanging out. This is definitely a great place to spend a beach vacation with a large group. The property manager was very helpful and courteous when booking and when calling with questions or making payments. The standard check-in time is advertised as 5pm. The day before our arrival I called to request an early check-in since the unit would apparently not be rented the night before. We were informed that this would be possible but not guaranteed since routine inspection and maintenance was required on the day of our anticipated arrival. Upon arrival around 2pm we were informed that the property was still not ready but were assured that we would be called/texted as soon as it was. So after shopping around for 2 hours, we visited the office again around 4:15 and was then told it had been ready. A notification from the property manager was lacking, but accessing the property slightly earlier than check-in time was helpful after a the long trip.
