About this property

A beautiful old country house in the hamlet of Anan. Which is the ideal place to relax in the south west of France an hours drive from Toulouse airport and a further hour and half drive to the Pyrenees and Spain.

The house consists of a large ground floor living space with a well equipped kitchen with an island and bar stalls and a wood burner with a cooking grill. There is comfortable adjoining dining room with a large table and chairs to enjoy your meals on. Also a downstairs bathroom equipped with toilet and shower.

There is beautifully furnished living room with a large sitting area, with two arm chairs and large sofa with foot stalls. Flat screen television offering both English and French TV channels and DVD player. With a large wood burner if needed.

Upstairs there is a large double bedroom with twin single beds and a good sized double bedroom with storage for clothes. Leading from the landing upstairs there is a pretty balcony overlooking the garden and swimming pool a perfect spot for a quiet cup of tea in the morning. There is a shared bathroom and separate WC next to the bedroom.

The terrace area is covered and has a small and large barbecue with a large dining table to eat alfresco. A great area which overlooks a beautiful garden with borders, orchard and specimen trees.
The swimming pool is available from May until October. If you wish to take advantage of relaxing by the pool there are three sun loungers and four comfortable chairs and a hammock shaded within the trees. One parasol and bench and a pergola is available if you wish for a little shade.

An okay stay

The outside of the property is lovely. The pool is fabulous with a good seating area, however, we did have to clean the pool ourselves which we've never had to do at any other property we have rented. The interior of the house is very old and could do with having a thorough clean. There were a lot of cobwebs and some of the kitchen utensils weren't very clean. There was also a smell of soot in the lounge which exacerbated my daughters asthma so we chose not to use that room. Part of the house is locked which I found quite odd but I'm guessing that the owner must utilise that part when they stay. The village the house is situated in is very small and does not have a boulangerie. You need to visit the next town over which is about 5 to 10 minutes away by car. The bedrooms could do with having air conditioning installed as it is very stuffy when it gets hot. In the main bedroom the fan isn't installed over the bed, it is over to one side so doesn't help keep you cool when trying to sleep. The terrace is a lovely area with a good table and chairs to use to eat outside. Beware of mosquitoes as we got eaten alive which meant we ended up eating inside a lot. All in all an okay stay.

Bulle de bonheur

La magie a opéré ! La maison est agréable : déco fleurie, ses murs gardent une fraîcheur appréciée et elle est parfaitement équipée. Les extérieurs sont soignés et propices à la détente : aucun vis-à-vis, des buissons fleuris, des coins pour chaque activité (comme la sieste à l'ombre en hamac) et une piscine parfaite pour sauter ou nager ! La bienveillance d'Hélène, notre contact, comme celle de Christophe, l'adorable voisin fait du bien 🥰 une parenthèse en Haute Garonne comme une bulle de bonheur !

Très agréable séjour à la campagne, un merci tout particulier à Hélène (et Roland que nous avons aperçu), qui est d’une gentillesse absolue, et toujours disponible, pour l’accueil plus que chaleureux, la propreté des lieux et le panier garni très apprécié à l’arrivée, tout le linge fourni et renouvelé. Merci aussi à Christophe pour ses bons œufs et légumes ! Le jardin est splendide, et mention toute particulière pour la super piscine ! Les photos ne mentent pas. Donc grand merci à tous ! grandes maison et piscine!

Grande maison, plus grande que les 2 chambres de l'annonce ne le laisse présager, car une partie n'est pas ouverte aux locataires, ce qui ne pose d'ailleurs aucun problème. Grande cour, grand jardin-verger. avec délicieuses prunes! Les personnes qui s'en occupent sont charmantes et aux petits soins. Nous avons surtout apprécié l'accueil (cadeaux, dont de délicieux légumes ..) , la superbe piscine, l'espace intérieur comme extérieur, et, détail pratique important, la mise à disposition et le renouvellement hebdomadaire de tout le linge de maison possible! Idéal pour des vacances au calme!

Un petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé deux semaines très agréable en famille dans cette très belle maison. Hélène et Roland ont été au petit soin avec nous. Le jardin est magnifique et la piscine superbe. L’intérieur de la maison est très joliment décoré et nous avons pu profiter d’une cuisine équipée d’un vrai matériel de chef ! Nous avons également profité des fruits du verger qui étaient délicieux. Nous recommandons vivement cette location pour des vacances calmes et reposantes en famille. Encore un grand merci à Hélène et Roland pour leur chaleureux accueil, à Christian notre voisin et à Max notre pêcheur.

Accueil parfait avec ce qu'il faut en plus avec les petits détails d'arrivée (1 bonne bouteille de rouge et gateaux apéro). C'est une location tout compris (linge piscine/toilettes/cuisine, lits faits, gaz barbecue, ménage de sortie, ...) avec des plus comme la superbe piscine 6x12m bien équipée, un très beau jardin et des vélos. A l'Isle en Dodon (3 km), on trouve de tout et en particulier un super boucher (Delon) qui fait tout lui-même et cela s'en ressent dans sa viande te sa charcuterie. Une mention spéciale. Nous conseillons vivement.

FLEURIE HOUSE - APPRECIATIONS

Superbes prestations. Maison très bien équipée et très belle piscine. Ecrin de verdure et calme assuré. Nous avons été très bien reçus et la personne en charge de la location sur place était à notre écoute. A recommander pour des vacances à la campagne dans un cadre de verdure au calme.
