About this property

Two Bucks Cabin at Buck Mountain, NC -- Two views!

Two Bucks can sleep 6 people with two bedrooms (one is a loft that has heavy curtains to close it off). It’s probably more comfortable for 4 people or under though! 2 couples, or a couple and 2-3 kids would fit perfectly, but six adults is a bit of a squeeze…

Important—both bedrooms are up or down stairs! No sleeping areas are on the main level.
Important—you will need to bring your own linens (sheets and towels)!

The main level has a vaulted-ceiling living room with a 32-inch smart TV ( Roku TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime). On the main floor you'll also find a sparkling newly renovated kitchen with brand new everything—cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting, sink, faucet, etc, and so many handcrafted special touches. There’s a Keurig coffee machine and even an air fryer. There's a full bathroom with a slate-tiled standing shower. Take the spiral staircase up to the loft with two double beds and a twin bed, or take another spiral staircase down to the master bedroom. The extra-large master has a king bed, and a queen Murphy bed that folds up. There's a spacious bathroom downstairs as well with a tub/shower. Both bathrooms have brand new cabinets, sinks, faucets and light fixtures. There is a gas grill on the side deck for your convenience.

There is a deck that spans three sides of the cabin--the back deck looks over the Brushy Mountains (be careful--it's a long drop!) and the front deck looks over the Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy sunrise and sunset over TWO mountain ranges! There's a hammock and a firepit with multiple benches--from this spot you have lovely views of both mountain ranges!

Want to impress your work colleagues with amazing mountain views on your Zoom calls? It's easy to work remotely at Two Bucks, with our super-fast WiFi.

There is a gravel driveway with room for parking multiple cars.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the spiral staircases are tight and you need to watch your step. So if you're at all concerned with navigating them, you might want to look elsewhere. And when it comes to little ones, Two Bucks is not little kid safe, and is best suited for children age 8 and over.

The community of Buck Mountain is 3,000 acres with approximately 250 homes. It's private and quiet! You will have access to a huge gorgeous waterfall (about a 7 minute drive from the cabin), a stocked pond for fishing, and 32 miles of hiking/biking trails. From Buck Mountain you have an easy drive to Boone, Blowing Rock, and are super close to Merlefest and the North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Great views!
We had a great time at this cabin! It’s a haul up the mountain but you are rewarded with privacy and amazing views! The pictures in the listing do not do it justice. It’s newer and less rustic than we expected…we were pleasantly surprised! The kitchen is small and there is no disposal or dishwasher so don’t plan to do a ton of cooking. But it had all the basics and was fine for us. There were plenty of beds as long as you don’t mind sharing rooms. Overall great! Would stay there again!!

STUNNING views, quite & serene
My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend at Two Bucks cabin. The view is absolutely STUNNING and the house is very private. We loved all the amenities the HOA provided...waterfalls, hiking trails and even a putting green. Beth was so great to work with, very responsive and very helpful. We hope to be back soon! HIGHLY recommended!!!

Views, Views, Views!
The views at Two Bucks Cabin are fantastic! My sisters, daughter, and I came up for a few days and wanted to get away from all the hustle and bustle; we found this to be the perfect place for quiet and relaxation. Beth was great to work with and made the whole process easy!

Great stay and great location
I don't know a lot about the Buck Mountain community in general, but I'd have to assume this cabin has one of the better locations in the community. Mountain views from both sides, and awesome sunrises and sunsets. A few other bonuses that you may not find at other cabins in the mountains are a cell signal, a nice little waterfall/park/hiking trail area (the kids made us go three times) and the majority of the roads being paved. Beth was easy to deal with, very responsive, and available when we had any questions. Highly recommend!

Great secluded place for a get away
Very charming cabin! My husband and I went just the two of us for a quick getaway, but the small cabin could easily accomodate a good size family. We loved the location- so quiet and peaceful - there are no other houses that you can see from the cabin. The views on both sides were awesome and since it sits above the road below, you have unobstructed views from both the back deck and front deck being able to enjoy sunrise and set. Property managers were very easy to get in touch with- I called about a very trivial thing with not being able to figure out the remote and she immediately called me back and knew exactly what I was doing wrong! I highly recommend this property!!!

Two bucks
We had a wedding to attend and thought we'd enjoy staying in the mountains! This place had all the best! The only regret we had was that we couldn't stay longer. The views are amazing!

This is our second home, not just rental property. We have worked tirelessly to fix it up, a little at a time. We love sharing it with responsible folks who will treat our home with love and care! We have many return guests who love our special spot. Please note--this is NOT the place to party or get crazy! If you do, you could get hurt!
