Wonderful location!

We have stayed at the same location twice now and absolutely love it and the wonderful people in the other places. David and Anita were very accommodating and were truly great responding immediately to anything we needed. Would rate this 10 out of 10. We will be back soon!

Clean, exactly as pictured

The space was extremely clean and had lots of amenities-iron, hairdryer, fully stocked kitchen, beach towels and chairs and plenty of bath towels. The pool space is lovely. You are a two minutes walk from a grocery store and great coffee at the Bean Corner Cafe. Also, the Oak restaurant is easily ewalkable. We felt safe walking into town

Paradise found in Aruba

This was our first visit to Aruba, but it definitely won’t be our last!! The condo we stayed in at Wacamaya Condos was perfect. We had everything we needed. It is a great location to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions. The pool was gorgeous and quiet and relaxing. It was so nice to walk out the door and be able to enjoy sitting by the pool. Highly recommend!!

Great place to stay

We had a very nice stay here. The pool was very nice, the condo was very nicely maintained and clean inside. The location is ideal being close to Palm Beach. Communication with the owners was great. We will definitely be back!

Enjoyable stay in quiet well maintained condo in close proximity to beaches, restaurants and more

We stayed in this condo for 9 days and loved it! The condo is very comfortable and equipped with everything you may need including beach chairs and a cooler. This came handy as you can go anywhere on the beach with them as the beaches, pulapas and parking are free. The condo pool and grounds are very well maintained offering peaceful and enjoyable time outside either on the pool loungers or on the private patio. You do need a car to get around easily and experience different beaches. This was our first Aruba vacation and we loved everything about it.

Amazing Stay!

We loved our stay in Aruba. The condo was spotless and had all the amenities. The bed was super comfortable! The grounds are beautiful with a great pool. There is a small grocery store right across the street that has anything you might need. The location was perfect close to beach and all the restaurants. Our hosts, Dave and Anita were very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

offseason stay

October is the perfect time to stay, fewer people at the condo, mostly couples, and on the beaches around the island. Can find a lounger or have a nice swim in the pool or hang out at one of the many beaches with a Papula or umbrella.

Vacation in Aruba

The condo was well equipped, and clean with a great kitchen and the grill outside was clean. Having the beach chairs and the cooler was so helpful. The location was perfect only 5 minutes to the beach and far away from all the big hotels. The outside area was very well kept. I would definitely come back again.

Best Vacation Ever!

My wife and I stayed at Wacamaya Apartments for 10 days in February 2015. The condos were clean and spacious; the complex was amazing and well kept. Anita and Dave provided wonderful service; hands on for any questions, concerns or requests. This along with beautiful weather, friendly people and lots to do, has us booking next year already.

Wonderful winter escape

Property is exactly as listed & owners/managers live nearby 5-6 month out of the year in the winter months. We woukd definitely rent from these owners again. We drove to Eagle Beach--recently voted #2 in the world-- most days since it's quieter than Palm Beach. Palm Beach is walking distance but still recommend renting a car as you'll be carrying beach chairs & cooler, plus it's nice to explore the other beaches & areas of the island. Aruba itself is very safe with very nice beaches, sunshine every day & comfortably breezes every day. The people of Aruba are friendly & there's lots of wonderful restaurants nearby.

Nice place, definitely with rental car

Mother and daughter had a nice 5 night stay here. We found it clean and comfortable, especially the bed, and everything in working order. Pool area nice and inviting. Glad we had a rental car. We did not walk to the beach and carry all things needed, but think it would be too much effort while on vacation. Also, besides 2chairs and a cooler, no other beach equipment provided, so I would definitely check out coconutrentals dot com to rent that much needed umbrella. Wish I had known to do this early before arriving, as they do have minimum orders (which we didn't reach by the time I found them). Beaches are beautiful, but can get crowded. Beach Palapas (and any shade) always taken, seemingly "saved" early in the morning, so don't count on shade without your own equipment. All umbrellas sold out and/or very expensive at the beach. We ate out every night and enjoyed outdoor dining at Elements, Papiamento, Pelican Nest. Skip Giannis (overpriced pasta). Only coffee filters, salt, and vinegar available in cabinets; refrigerator full size and completely empty, so pick up those free condiment packets at the airport if you have the chance. Went to Superfoods once and found groceries fairly expensive, but to be expected on an island. Would definitely try to return to this Unit next time as everything was as expected and as advertised.

I found paradise

Perfect apartment for two. Adequately spacious and comfortable. The common area courtyard was beautiful with lovely architecture and plantings and a fabulous large pool. Had breakfast and cocktails on our own little patio. While we visited and toured the island, I could have spent the entire time here. A couple of suggestions to make this wonderful apartment even better: one more towel bar and a towel ring in the bathroom plus a grab bar in the walk-in shower would be an improvement. A stronger light in the bedroom would be helpful.

Bathroom needs towel racks/hooks, shower strainer needs attention. TV Hulu was not achievable with directions given. Could add a wall mounted island map. Pool was great as was bed , security and community accommodations. Comments are not complaints just improvement suggestions.

No need to leave

When we first arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the garden and pool area. The unit is clean and well equipped. Close to everything and Anita and Dave go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The bed....large and comfortable. Their really is no reason to leave the comfort of this complex if you really dont want to. If you do decide to do more than relax in the peace and quiet around the pool, get a jeep. Aruba's best sites are off road so make sure you get a jeep. Amazing ocean view, crashing waves, beautiful beaches. Wonderful vacation. Thanks Anita and Dave, we had a great time.

Why they chose this property

This complex has the perfect amount of balance... not too far away from the beaches, night life, restaurants and shopping, but far enough away to enjoy a quiet stress free relaxing vacation. Our units offer two complimentary beach chairs and cooler for use at the beaches during your stay, internet, hot water and tasteful, comfortable surroundings with a full kitchen for your stay.

What makes this property unique

This unit is an end unit on ground floor furthest from the road. There are many upgrades in this unit that set it aside from the other units on the same property. Our last upgrade included the installation a feature rock wall, with flat screen 55inch TV. Youtube, Netflix and unlimited high speed internet are in the unit at no additional charge. We installed new floors, repainted the entire unit, changed bedding and installed a new stone backsplash in the kitchen. Ours may not be the least expensive in the complex, but we offer excellent luxurious accommodations and excellent service.
