This cottage is situated across from East Bay. ROW to bay is a 2 minute walk with a shared dock to drop the provided kayaks. Cottage is equipped with everything you might need for a fun and relaxing family vacation. Bring your boat and enjoy some of the best fishing in the northeast! Boat launch is just down the road! Sodus Point public beach is a 15 minute drive and there are many restaurants, ice cream shops, and a playground. If you plan to stay right in the area, the cottage is 1 mile from Chimney Bluffs State Park where you will find hiking trails and a lovely beach. Enjoy the seaway trail with Lighthouses, historic forts, the Erie Canal, Vineyards, restaurants, biking, hiking, farmers markets & best of all relaxing! Book your vacation today!

Girls BFF getaway
We enjoyed our 53rd friendship anniversary trip! Hiking the Chimney Bluffs was amazing!!! The state park is a short walk down the street and we walked the beach in front of the Bluffs which start right there! The cottage was cozy and enjoyable and well equipped too. Kristin couldn't have been more helpful as she answered every question we had quickly and completely. Thank you!

Cute cottage
Amenities are as to be expected for this time of cottage. All the necessary necessities. Very clean. Main bed is only a full size which was too small for my husband and me. I’m on the larger size. Attempted to use the pullout sofa. Those are alway uncomfortable . Ended up just sleeping separately on the couch and the bed. Even though it’s only a perk, I would suggest getting a new coffee pot. It literally took over 45mins to brew and only would come out to half a pot by then. Parking is not sufficient. Has shared driveway that you can’t park on with blocking. You have to park on the side of the road. No clear directions to get to a shared dock or boat ramp. Overall had a wonderful time and stay. Would book again. Was close to several different towns and fishing lakes. Convenient. .

Overall we had a nice time. Just a couple of things we weren't totally happy with. Well water was very strong smell of Sulphur. Mr. Coffee maker took 1 hr to make a pot of coffee with then not being real hot. Might need to be replaced. Appeared to be a bit dusty on floors and fans and curtains. Couldn't keep door to deck open as had no screen.Same problem with windows throughout the cottage.

Charged EXTRA for things having nothing to do with us
My wife and I were informed 18 days after our stay that we were being charged an ADDITIONAL $75 for a stain on a mattress cover and dog hair on the floor. Let me make this PERFECTLY clear to whoever reads this. We were told to bring sheets for the furniture if the dogs were going to be on it. We did that. We picked up everything we touched in the house and then some before we left. We always do. We try to leave a place cleaner than it was before we got there. We even pick up after ourselves when we stay in hotel rooms. Now lets get to this stain on the mattress. My wife noticed this stain on the mattress cover when we were leaving because like the good solid Americans we are; we put all the sheets, towels, wash cloths and everything else we used in the washer before we left. We did NOT wash them. As for the little bit of dog hair that was on the floor. Sorry we couldn't finish our clean up as usual. A couple form Massachusetts showed up at 10:00 am and was meeting a realtor there at 10:30. WE WERE FORCED TO LEAVE BECAUSE THE HOUSE IS LISTED FOR SALE. IS THIS EVEN LEGAL? Per the listing our checkout time was 11:00. I would never recommend this place to anyone based on the shady overall outcome of our stay. It's been 18 days since we checked out of this place. How many people have stayed there since us, and how many other people did you charge for the same cover? Do you normally NOT clean the house between people staying? There is already a cleaning fee!!!

Cozy Cottage
Super gracious hosts for an adorable cozy cottage. We arrived late in the day for our first night, which I would not recommend because it is a bit dark if you don’t know where you’re going. But once we got in, made ourselves comfortable. Cottage is exactly as described, not large but very cozy and really has almost everything you’ll need. Great walks and hikes in the area and quick trip to Sodus Point and other cute towns. Excellent location to truly get away!

Hydrangea Cottage on Hampton
This is a small but cozy cottage....we enjoyed our stay for a number of reasons: great location, air conditioning, everything you could possibly need for cooking, laundry, outings, and Kristen is attentive and quick to answer any questions. This cottage is just that...a cottage that has been updated but still needs some work (deck, screen door ); it is low key but in a great location and we were able to take our two dogs with us!!!

Disappointing
What happened to recliner chair? Photos need to be updated to reflect actual furniture. I need a recliner to sleep comfortably, but none was found in this rental. Overall, the unit is old, with much unevenness in floor and doors that did not close correctly. Also, back deck loooked quite old and I was afraid it would break through if I used it. Would not recommend this rental unless you want rustic.

This is a sweet little country cottage, just minutes away from Chimney Bluffs park, and Lake Ontario shorline. It isn't the Marriott. Take a step back in time, and leave the rat race behind to experience some peace and quiet in a bucolic setting.

Cute Cottage with a Great Location
The cottage was very cute, clean, and everything was functional. Also it is very close to the Chimney Bluffs which we went to to get our feet wet in the lake. Communication with Kristin the owner is excellent. She response to notes very quickly. My wife and I loved the place and put it at the top of our list for the area!

Cozy cottage, just what we were looking for.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Clean, well furnished, everything we needed from a home away from home. Location was great- near the bluffs, beautiful countryside, and the lake. Friendly neighbors invited us to a bonfire the first night there. We'd stay here again!!
