We loved staying in this thoughtfully restored studio. It had everything you needed, including walkability to great restaurants and coffee shops. We appreciated the character of the apartment immensely.

We had a great stay here and Dan was super helpful. Close to lots of coffee shops, bars, restaurants. Well appointed and very clean, great view of the Space Needle and downtown!
The property is a beautifully refurbished unit in one of Capitol Hill's prewar brick apartment houses. My husband and I lived on Capitol Hill for many years and relished every aspect of our stay in this property. It would be difficult to overstate the outstanding good taste and considerateness with which the unit is remodeled, furnished and stocked, and Dan (the host) is a cordial and generous guy who lives right in the building. The only reason that I give less than five stars under "Accuracy of Online Listing" is that visitors unaccustomed to urban grit might initially find the overall look and feel of the building to be a contrast with the excellence of the unit itself. But my final word is that the unit and Dan are so great that I would urge anyone to give it a try and experience the real Capitol Hill.
My husband & I stayed here when we came to Seattle for a Seahawks game (from Canada). The place suited us perfectly. It's a spacious studio with a great view. Quiet neighborhood and building. Right across the street is Safeway. Less than 10 min walk to the subway that takes you to downtown or the stadium in no time. Communication with the owner was easy and efficient. Would consider staying here again. Only minor complaint was the apartment was more warm then we'd like but that is personal preferences and in a different season we could have opened a window. .
Our stay in Capitol Hill was amazing! Dan was extremely accommodating in all ways. He communicated in a timely manner, made the check-in/out process easy, and gave us great recommendations of places to go in the area. I would recommend this place to everyone not just for the location but also the welcoming host. Thank you, Dan!
Nice central district location. Parking space a nice bonus in this neighborhood. Plenty of eatery options within walking distance. Clean unit has a retro 50s vibe. Building itself is older and inside hallways are dingy and dirty. But once you get past that, the room is fine if a bit cramped in the bathroom for one. Dan is helpful and replies quickly if needed.
We would for sure recommend choosing this spot. Very cute, great light, quiet but close to everything. Nicely appointed with fixings for coffee and tons of toiletries if you left something at home. Comfy bed and excellent water pressure. And Dan is an excellent host! Sad to leave, hope to stay again someday.
It is an older building in a University Area. The suite was great but the building was a bit tired. It was also on the Glide Path for the airplanes flying in an out of Seatac Airport.
Dan was such a gracious host! He made the check in/out process was very easy and the unit had all the basics you’ll need. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood and walkability to so many things. The parking spot was a major plus too!
This retro studio apartment has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. From the teal microwave and toaster to coffee/tea, spices, oil and even some condiments. We enjoyed 2 sunny days and had a great view of the space needle and harbour. Very walkable to grocery shopping and restaurants and a short uber or bus to downtown. Dan was an awesome host and provided good info and stories.
If you've been on Seattle's Capitol Hill you already know that parking is a huge hassle - one of the BEST things about this unit is a designated parking space next to the bldg plus you're across the street from a major grocery store with a Starbucks for a quick coffee run.The unit also has tons of natural light and a really nice view of the Sound which is another added bonus.
Although we gave this a 5-star rating, the unit isn't perfect - it's a bit outdated with too much linoleum and the interior of the historic bldg is definitely grubby with messy public areas (nice tenants tho!). The worst part of our stay, however, is how hot and stuffy the unit was despite cool weather. We probably should've asked Dan how to fix it but we just opened the windows a lot. Still, the studio apt is in a great location with nearby restaurants/bars and about 4 blocks to the light rail which we needed for football games.
I would highly recommend Dan’s apartment for a single or couple stay in Seattle. It’s located right in the heart of Capitol Hill - one of Seattle’s most thriving neighborhoods - and is in walkable distance to various attractions in the neighborhood, to the light rail line and also to downtown Seattle.
The apartment was also really cute, very clean, and with a lot of historical character. It also has an incredible view of downtown and the Olympic mountains.
Communication with Dan was also quick and consistent.
I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Seattle and look forward to reaching back out to Dan on my next stay.
It is a lovely apartment in a great location and is very walkable to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and landmarks.
Dan made check-in/out easy and provided a ton of great recommendations.
Host was welcoming and great communicator. Easy check-in with a parking spot reserved. Clean and safe apartment with a lovely view of Seattle skyline. Great location, walkable to lots of good coffee, food and attractions. Would stay again!
Host was a wonderful communicator and very friendly. The unit was very clean, cute, and had a wonderful view of the city skyline. If you don’t mind walking it’s pretty easy to get to the major areas of downtown or to use public transit!
my stay in this cute apartment was a complete joy! it is perfect for 1 or maybe 2 guests, and despite its spare appearance, it had everything a low-maintenance person like me needed. clean, quiet, airy, and what a view! Dan, the owner, was close at hand to offer help and advice.
beware the hike up from the 1-Line Capitol Hill stop, though - it's not called a hill for nothing. the 8/10/43 buses at the corner will help you get anywhere you want to go. it's a couple of blocks to the amazing Volunteer Park, and the neighborhoods along 15th and along Broadway are utterly charming and progressive, too!
Great location near train and Cap Hill businesses. Walkable to Pike Place and other tourist spots. Unit is a large bachelor, very clean and charming. Stunning sunset view of Space Needle and water. Easy check-in and out. Grocery store literally across the street, as well as multiple coffee shops (I settled on Overcast Coffee as my fave) and restaurants. Loved it.
My partner and I had a lovely stay. The space was just right for a couple looking to explore the city. Close to most of the night life we had wanted to experience and several great food choices nearby. The thing that we most enjoyed was the friendly welcome from Daniel and of course the spectacular view of the waterfront and the space needle from our room. We spent the morning with a coffee and just soaked in the view.
