About the host
Hosted by Mary Ann Parr & Dennis Woodriff
We are an older couple with restaurants and have lived here many years .
Why they chose this property
We enjoy fixing up older properties, renewing their charms and letting others enjoy them. This little cottage has high ceilings, a sturdy full kitchen, a beautiful sun room. Charlottesville is a fun place to visit.
What makes this property unique
Our place is very close to many wonderful things to do, walking is an option and this little cottage is easy and restful. C’ville has great sites and restaurants. It is simple to enjoy a long holiday exploring all of Jefferson’s legacy or Madison’s Montpelier, UVA - for football, basketball and other sports and events or art at the Bailey or Fralin. Music abounds in large and small venues . Try the Paramount theatre and our well known Film Festival . The Festival of the Book in the spring . Breweries and wineries for imbibing, we can recommend - there are several nearby and some interesting wine and craft beer events, very close at hand. This area is very neighborly and quiet.
