Good stay

We loved that dogs were allowed. We made this reservation the day before arriving very last minute so the only way we could make the trip was with dogs in tow. The unit was clean, just a bit dated. Over all very good stay. Quiet, off the beaten path a bit. Beach was a little further than expected, but had a wonderful view. Be prepared to only have access to a few eateries and stores within about 20 minutes.We were grateful for the dollar store that had most of everything we needed. We would come back if we had to travel with pets.

Great view!

We loved the view from the balcony! The beach was also beautiful with sightings of dolphins, sting rays and a variety of fish. The pool, hot tub and exercise room were well cared for and relaxing. Our girls loved the bunk beds but with only 1 room it would be crowded for 6. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Beautiful View - Terrible Service from Vacasa

The condo was nice. The views from the patio are incredible. However, the check-in information said that no password was required for the WiFi. This was incorrect, a password is required. I called the Vacasa support line and got no response for the entire stay. Terrible customer service from Vacasa.

Great views

Beautiful views. Elevators are in a great central location. Clean campus, not over crowded. Two full bathrooms are a wonderful asset to this unit as well as the full size washer and dryer!

Fort Morgan Condo

Great condo, great amenities, nice beach. Only complaint was WiFi would not connect with our devices even after calling customer service for help. We were told there was no password but we needed a password to connect. Perhaps owner needs to update info??? Graded the condo 4 stars instead of 5 due to wireless situation

Beach trip

We’ve stayed in Fort Morgan several times but never at this building. We’ll start with the good…Fort Morgan beach is beautiful. If you are looking for an undeveloped beach with white sugar sand and beautiful gulf water, you’ve found it. The pool was nice and not crowded. While there was a very brief mention in the fine print that due to hurricane sally there could be possible construction going on you should know that the entire building is under construction and the stucco is being redone. We also had work being done to the interior of the unit while we there. A little surprising to come back from the beach to the door wide open and workers inside the condo. The workers were very nice and the supervisor was apologetic as he knocked on our door every morning at 8:00am. I feel like VRBO or Vacasa should have let us know that this level of work was being done. They also failed to give us a door code to enter the unit upon arrival, so that was fun. Our new friend, the construction supervisor helped us get in and prevented our groceries from melting. The unit is dated and the bed and couch desperately need to be replaced. There is a permanent layer of sand on the floor. Will we return to Fort Morgan? Yes. Will we stay in this unit or book with Vacasa again? Nope.

Dunes Condo April 2023

Ok, the positives - to our surprise, we received a text early afternoon that our condo was clean and we could check in early, the location was nice, the condo looked mostly as advertised and we were grateful for the indoor swimming/hot tub situation. However, we vacation at Ft. Morgan at least annually and opted to deviate from our normal location to 707 Dunes since it was advertised to have a washer/dryer. Upon arrival, the washer had a sticker on it to not use it as it was under repair. This was a HUGE disappointment as we only packed for half a week believing we could do laundry. This made our stay interesting and we had to make a couple trips to Wal Mart for unexpected clothing purchases. I communicated that this was a big issue for us on a daily basis and gave up after the 5th day as I was continuously apologized to and promised that a solution would be found - it never was. Additionally, for our family of 3, we were provided with 6 bath towels but no wash cloths. I brought this to their attention twice and it was never rectified. Another trip to Wal Mart for wash cloths. It was a nice surprise to be told we could check in early as the condo had been cleaned but we found food wrappers in both bunk beds where our daughter would sleep and our feet were black from walking barefoot inside (after our showers). I understand a good portion of the area is still being fixed from recent hurricane activity but it felt super shady that it was never disclosed to us that this condo building is still VERY much under construction with noise starting at 7:30 every weekday morning. This unit offered unsecured Wi-Fi that never worked. They did send someone to look at it but he was only able to do what we had already tried, gave up and provided us with the password to the WiFi next door since there wasn't anyone staying there. We really wanted to like this place but we will not return.

Perfect after I got past check in

The property was fabulous-the view is one of the best I've seen. It is managed by Vacasa, however, which is just bad. I never got check in information, no one answered my emails, and I was on hold for 35 minutes waiting for someone to help over the phone. The directions take you to the wrong gate for a different property. I had to back up with people behind me and just guess where to turn for the correct gate. Once I got inside, the property was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend the Dunes, but deal with the owner directly.

Great location for a quiet, good value trip!

Overall the condo was fine and functional. It could definitely use a little “love” (new furniture, painting and a little better cleaning upon arrival). My biggest complaint is the communication on questions pre and during trip. You will only have access to messaging Service, Not the owner! Needless to say, frustrating but Overall once we got settled, the condo was a good value for the $$.

Great Views

Seventh floor one bedroom condo. Had a great view of the gulf. We could hear the waves crashing against the beach. Walk to the beach or drive, to get closer to the boardwalk that leads out to the beach. 19 miles from Gulf Shores, so this beach is the place to be if you want less people and definitely less noise. We stayed the end of September.

The Dunes #707

Being on the top (7th) floor we had a great view of both the gulf and the bay which you wouldn't have on a lower level floor. The space was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids 12 and under). Very clean and comfortable. Beach was a short walk from facility. Facility is located roughly 20 minutes from Gulf shores so good to know up front if you plan on driving to Gulf shores daily for food, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location only about 25-30 from the Gulf Shores area. A/C was great, the view was beautiful, the condo was very clean, and the pool and hot tub were relaxing. We will definitely book here again if we decide to go back to the Fort Morgan area.

Alabama Beaches

We enjoyed our condo in Gulf Shores (actually, in Ft. Morgan a ways out of town. While not close to a lot of attractions, the location was attraction enough. Our bedroom had a cracked window, which should be replaced, but otherwise was very nice and perfectly satisfactory for our stay. The pool was a bit of a problem, as the algae made it look like a high school biology experiment gone bad. It was closed on two different occasions, but it didn't look any better afterwards. What we weren't told was that the other pool was available (we found it out on the day we left) when our pool was closed. At the time the pool was closed, so was the fitness center, which we liked to use, and the hot tub. The other residents (residents and renters) were very friendly and a pleasure to be around. Tacky Jack's two is a fun place to grab a bite to eat.
