Superbe location

Nous avons passé une semaine au soleil dans cette maison fraîche, très agréable et très bien tenue. Le terrain est vaste et très agréable pour de petites promenades avec les jeunes enfants. La piscine est également très bien entretenue et sécurisée. Marie-Rose a été très accueillante, sympathique et présente dès que l’on en a eu besoin !

Un havre de paix

Nous venons de passer 15 jours de calme, dans un superbe environnement. Marie,la propriétaire de cette charmante demeure en pierre,nous a tres bien accueillis. A l'écoute et très disponible. La déco est un peu vieillotte, mais la cuisine très bien équipée, la literie des 3 chambres, rien a dire,quand aux extérieurs, terrain très bien entretenu, et magnifique piscine très appréciée avec des températures de plus de 40°! Il faut savoir qu'il faut obligatoirement une voiture pour les visites alentours. Merci Marie pour votre chaleureux accueil.

Heerlijk verblijf, mooi verzorgd huis, mooi domein en perfecte uitvalsbasis voor vele mooie uitstappen. Het huis is zeer goed uitgerust van alle gemakken en alles is voorhanden, het domein goed onderhouden en alles netjes en proper. De host is een supervriendelijke, joviale dame, die steeds ter beschikking is bij vragen. Wij hadden een heerlijke vakantie in Saint Vincent en komen graag terug!

Séjour agréable au calme rien de tel pour se ressourcer

Très belle demeure, bien entretenue, loin de tout, tout ce qu'il nous fallait pour nous ressourcer et décompresser après cette année. Grand jardin bien clôturé pour notre chien. Grande piscine, le seul problème, malgré les grosses chaleurs la piscine n'est pas montée à plus de 23 degrés et malgré l'amabilité de Marie, le fait de venir tous les jours pour la piscine, nous a semblé un peu intrusif.

Fabulous

We’ve had a wonderful week here. The pool is fantastic especially as temperatures were in the high 30s, thankfully inside the house remains cool. The garden is huge and beautiful with secure fencing allowing our dog to safely explore. Marie is welcoming and friendly, the perfect host. The house is lovely and very well equipped. The location is remote and peaceful but an easy drive to the next village for groceries and 2 bakeries.

Endroit calme et idyllique prospère au repos.Un grand merci à Marie (propriétaire) pour son accueil charmant.La vue est splendide,la piscine est très propre et nettoyé tous les jours.Dans la maison vous ne manqué de rien, il y a tous ce qu'il faut pour passer de belle vacances :) , le + la télé dans la chambre qui est confortable lorsque vous êtes en pleine séance de repos .Je recommande les yeux fermés.Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir

Nous cherchions un endroit où les parents pourraient se reposer et les enfants s'amuser. Nous l'avons trouver. En pleine campagne, avec un immense et très beau jardin et une superbe piscine, c'est un très bel endroit. Ne cherchez pas trop d'activité touristiques, vous êtes à la campagne. (les biches et les lapins aperçues dans le champ voisins le confirment). Le gros p'us la propriétaire, très gentille, met tout à disposition. Encore merci pour ce moment de tranquillité, précieux qd on a 3 ados.

Excellent all round!

We have just returned from the most idyllic holiday at Maison de Rose. The setting is peaceful and beautiful with a wonderful array of wildlife on the doorstep. The house is well equipped and cool, it’s useful to have laundry facilities and shopping nearby for groceries. We particularly enjoyed the pool and with the temperatures around thirty degrees we needed it to cool off! Our hosts pretty much left us to ourselves only popping in once to check everything was satisfactory- which it was. We were reluctant to leave this lovely spot and return to the frenzy that is work and home life but felt refreshed and rested after only ten days. Travel by train from York was simple and added to the sense of relaxation but a car there is essential.

Tranquil and private

Marie Meneret could not have been more welcoming and accommodating towards us. The property is completely private with a huge fenced garden full of fruit trees and providing plenty of shade. There are a few other properties on the lane but this one is right at the end and set back with the garden overlooking fields. The pool is in a beautiful setting - safely fenced off and surrounded by shrubs and hedges. It is quite deep so probably unsuitable for young children. Monsieur and Madame came every other day to clean the pool and make sure we were happy and had all we needed. There was plenty of outside space to relax in and eat together. The house itself is typically French - cool and dark. There is a large well-equiped kitchen/dining area (but no kettle!). It is very rural and surrounded by farmland so you need to be comfortable with farmyard noises, insects and the occasional dog barking. If you want peace and quiet away from the busyness of every day life, I can highly recommend it!

Super Domizil, sehr ruhig gelegen und tolle Vermieter.

Das Ferienhaus liegt absolut ruhig und abgeschieden mit eigenem Pool (die Kinder fanden ihn super!). Die Ausstattung ist absolut ausreichend. Marie und ihr Mann sind supernett, sprechen aber nur französisch. Zum Dolmetschen organisierten sie eine gute Freundin, welche dann alle Fragen auf englisch klären konnte. Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt (super mit Hund) und das Grundstück riesig mit einigen Schatten-spendenden Bäumen. Für Familien mit Kindern und Hund wirklich absolut empfehlenswert. Ein riesiges Danke an unsere netten Vermieter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Urlaub in vollen Zügen genossen.
