The house is a beautiful property and was perfect for a family gathering! Also, great parking for four cars, comfortable beds, and everything you need in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this property.
This was a fabulous place for a group trip for my husband's birthday. The billiards room was fun, all the bedrooms are unique in fun ways, and everyone was excited to be in this house.
The only minor ding was the amount of dust - there was dust on a lot of the surfaces that weren't used often (like the windowsills, mantles, curtains).
We rented this house to stay for a wedding in Buffalo. 8 adults and had plenty of room, much better than separate hotel rooms. We really appreciated being allowed to host a day-after brunch for the wedding party, everyone loved the house! It was clean, well decorated and comfortable beds. Loved the neighborhood, enjoyed taking morning walks each day. Gabby was very helpful and responsive. My favorites were the pool table and front porch.
We had fourteen people stay overnight but had a total of twenty-three people playing at the Murder Mystery Party. Did not feel crowded at all.
The house was gigantic and really brought depth into the ambiance and mood for the party with its great ornate doors, long hallways, and general "turn off the century" architecture.
The house is a couple blocks away from a fire station, but we only heard them once in the afternoon. Also, I'd rather be woken up by a fire truck then have someone burn alive -- so that didn't bother me.
Overall, that house is awesome; I would definitely stay again. Everyone said "I miss that house" the next day after we left. 10/10.
This home is set up perfectly for a larger family (there were 8 of us) to stay under one roof. Plenty of beds, bedrooms, and baths for multiple generations to stay comfortably. The architecture and finishings give it a historic feel but with all needed modern conveniences. The neighborhood is close to everything.

8 Night Stay!!!
The property itself is beautiful. There was a problem with cleanliness, there is construction dust in the closets from the ductwork making the use of closets limited in the front bedrooms on the 2nd floor. None of the windows in the home could be opened which needed to be because of the perfumes & aromas in the house and the front door of the home is very hard to open. The other issue which disturbed us was the constant noise at night of the fire trucks . The station is a block away & for some reason they have their sirens on coming & going in the middle of the night. All in all I had expected our stay for 8 nights to be a lot more enjoyable.
The house was awesome and we had an excellent experience! It was exactly what we were looking for to accommodate 17 extended family members. We came to Buffalo for a family reunion, to celebrate the life of our amazing uncle who unfortunately passed away in January. We could all stay together, so the celebration never stopped! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful and amazing home with us. It was a weekend we will never forget! Liz Kamp
