This was a perfect weekend stay for a great price. We had everything we needed as far as kitchen, toiletries and bedding. Really enjoyed our time here. Also a great location, close to the beach and stores. Will remember this spot to book again some day.

We had a nice stay. Had the basics needed, location was good and it was in budget. Older place but clean. Suggestion: the room gets a lot of light, even at night, so if that bothers you, bring a sleep mask. I always travel with one but was glad I had it. We would stay here again.
I was in unit 2. The window covering did not cover the window. It allowed veiw from the street. It would have been nice if coffee was provided.

I didn't like this property or the manager at all. It was the worst experience I have ever had with accommodation.
Don't go there!

The AC was not working properly in the bedroom and it was very hot when we arrived. The front porch had boards that are loose and sticking up and unsafe when arriving after dark. The stairs are hard to manage with luggage and any physical issues. Photos did not show the amount of stairs.
I had a good stay here. The place is a little small, but it was perfect for just me. I would have loved somewhere that I could put my clothes other then my suitcase, but the place was very clean. The mattress was a little squeaky, but I never had any problems with the internet or the AC. Overall it was a great stay.
At the end of the day for the price this place is amazing. I will admit it is an older home so not all of the windows are fully covered, you can see some of the paint peeling, the AC did it's best but definitely not as good as a hotels, and while each room had their own locks (which i liked) the entry ways locking system concerned me a little. At first i was very nervous someone could just break down the door. At the end of the day we had an amazing time and we did love the room. These are just a few things I think if they were to improve would make it absolutely perfect. I would come back again but probably stay in a different unit if possible, just to try something else.
This place is amazing! It was clean, cute, and was in short driving distance to multiple great restaurants Sunflower Cafe, Mosquito Cafe & the beach. We hope to come back soon.
This property was close to the strand and easily accessible if you don’t have issues with stairs. It was clean, inviting and comfy for my sister and myself. Quiet area as well. There are 4 units but we never saw the other guests even though we knew there were others there.
Wonderful neighborhood and quaint property. The unit was very clean and the bedroom was charming. Being in the East End Historical District was awesome. I would definitely stay again.
My wife and I came to spend our honeymoon here and it was wonderful. Super clean and a couple blocks from the strand (5 minute walk)
Shower is definitely for one person, but okay pressure. Had neighbors but didn't hear them in the suite. Make sure to bring dishsoap(,trash bags(not provided)) and a big tray/bowl for crawfish! Not many plugs either so bring an extension cord as well! All amenities that were there were of good quality (dishes, kuerig, freezer, dishwasher, etc)
The a/c worked really well which was great. The bed was a bit hard and there wasn’t a comforter so it was a bit cold at night. Everything else was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly
The location is excellent for an easy walk to all the Post Office & Strand shopping & restaurants. Also about a 10 minute walk to the historic Bishop’s Palace & the beautiful Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The neighborhood is block after block of historic homes, and a scenic 10 minute walk to the Mosquito Cafe & Sunflower Bakery. It’s only a few minutes drive to the Seawall & beaches.
The bed is comfortable, not too soft or too hard. There is a great assortment of nautical/beach decor. Nice big kitchen for cooking with lots of counter space!
Unfortunately only one small frying pan & griddle pan that I did not feel safe using, so I bought a set of 3 frying pans for the next guest. No cookie sheets or roasting pan. No wine glasses or large bowls, just small bowls. Only one empty ice cube tray in the freezer when I arrived. No potholders or dish towels found.
No longer set up as pictured online. Unfortunately the large heavy couch was moved to another wall & now completely blocks access to the closet & outside porch. Large areas of peeling paint around bathroom door. This door also does not have a doorstop so hits the wall when opened. I put the trash can behind the door to protect the wall as you can see it’s been repaired.
Overall I did enjoy staying here for the location, safe neighborhood, and many tv options such as Netflix & Hulu. Loved the aquarium channel on when I arrived! It could be an even better place to stay with a little more attention to some of the details. I would have liked the owner to be more responsive to email as I had some questions about the departure instructions.
Clean, roomy, full kitchen, all the comforts of home. Road construction made parking not as accessible, and would have been nice if the kitchen table had 4 stools instead of 3, but we managed. Thank you for working with us, it was a great weekend and we really enjoyed the stay!
My wife and I were celebrating our Paper Anniversary (as we didn't get a honeymoon because of COVID). This was a perfect location. Close to everything. Beautiful and secure. We had one minor issue, and it was handled immediately. If I HAD to complain about one thing, it would be the parking, but that was mostly caused by road construction.

Good, but needs tweeking
No cups for coffee. Side of stove very dirty. Pillows hard. Needed better shampoo and hair dryer. Suggestions to make the place better. The location is the best part of the rental.
