Lovely Weekend Getaway

A lovely place in Prairie du Chien, close to Wyalusing State Park and the Mississippi river. It's a short 10 minute walk from downtown Prairie du Chien, and St. Feriole island, so it's easy to walk around and explore! The place is modern, spacious, and clean, and the king bed was very comfy. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay as always

We look forward to booking here every year. Great set up and we love the location. Minutes from great food. We love that there is always something fresh baked and awaiting our arrival. Cant wait till next year.

Gals Fall Trip

This is a great house with plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. It’s fully stocked with kitchen essentials, toiletries, towels, linens and extra blankets. Our group has stayed twice and have reserved it again!

Weekend Wedding

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway! Rachel's communication was superb from beginning to end. This home was in an excellent location for us as our wedding reception was at The Barn just north of town. Rachel's home is very clean and neat and had everything that we needed. We ran out of time this weekend to take in all the sights/activities that Prairie du Chien has to offer. I will definitely return to Rachel's home for our next visit!

Enjoyed our Stay!

My husband and I were in town for a family reunion and we booked Rivertown Getaway for the weekend. We enjoyed having the extra space it provided. We liked being able to have a full kitchen for meals that we chose to eat there rather than out. The bed was very comfortable and everything was just as it said in the information. It was perfect for us! Thanks Rachel! We will rebook in the future!

Cozy and convenient!

Comfortable, beautiful, great location

Rachel was easily reachable and timely in her responses, the house was clean and comfortable, has a well-stocked kitchen if you want to cook and is within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the river. Thanks for the great stay!

Great Location and Great Hospitality

Rachel was very responsive through the check-in process. We were welcomed with a loaf of home-baked pistachio bread and a bottle of wine from a winery across the river. The home was very clean, updated, and had great decor. The location was perfect for our trip! Thank you!

Amazing host and property!

From start to finish, Rachel was awesome! She thought of everything! The home was spotless and had plenty of extra pillows, bedding, towels. We had a group of 11 ranging in age from 11 to 79. Everyone was comfortable and we enjoyed our time together so very much! We will definitely book again! Thank you Rachel for treating us like family!

Perfect place for friend groups!

This house worked perfectly for a get-together of 8 friends! It was very clean, towels and blankets were very well-stocked, and the spacious dining room and table were absolutely perfect! The best part is that it's walking distance to St. Feriole Island and to unique shops. Rachel was SUPER responsive whenever I had a question. I would 100% stay at her house again if I'm ever in Prairie du Chien!
