About this property

Heart of the Roaring Fork River | Warm up by the fireplace

-Private water and fishing access on the Roaring Fork River
-Walking distance to bus stop to Aspen
-Indoor fireplace
-Wifi
-On site laundry

Our Library Cabin is classic and rustic with all of the amenities you need for a perfect stay, including cable and Wifi. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the covered porch or take a short walk to the patio area on the banks of the Roaring Fork River. There is a central fire pit and grilling area as well. Guests gain access to fish our private portion of the Roaring Fork River. Our cabin has one queen size bed and a trundle bed in the living room, and it is great for solo adventurers, couples looking for a mountain get-away, or fishermen.

Our guests love the convenient location of the cabin, right off of Highway 82. Because of the cabin’s proximity to the bus and main road, there is road noise.

This cabin is a part of Snowmass Cottages. If the Library Cabin doesn't meet your needs, we also have 6 other cabins and a log house available for rent on the property with the same amenities and views. Please inquire about group bookings to receive special discounted rates.

*WINTER WEATHER: Because we are located in the Rocky Mountains, weather cannot be used as reason for cancellation. From November to March you must be prepared for winter driving conditions. No refunds will be offered*

Idyllic Setting, Old School Charm

This is a classic mountain cabin rental experience. Not many still exist. They have a beautiful garden and annuals all over. It looks close to the highway but I get completely away from it all. They have placed various seating arrangements down by their ample river frontage, including a big comfy hammock. Cabin 7 had charming living area and everything I needed in a kitchen, including good coffee. The bed and bedding were excellent. Only thing I can think of to warm anyone about is the very primitive bathroom. But it was well worth that for the lovely and serene setting. I highly recommend these cabins.

Snowmass Cottages are a wonderful place to stay!

Snowmass cottages are in such a beautiful location, with gorgeous riverfront property. I loved the tables and hammock by the river, and you could walk to the Old Snowmass/Rio Grande bike trail. The cabin was cute, clean, and cozy, and the fireplace was our favorite. My husband, son, and I had a wonderful time staying here on the fall, and the leaves were gorgeous. I would recommend this property!

Cute Cabin Near a Beautiful River

We loved our stay at Snowmass cottages. This little rustic cottage was appointed well and was as idyllic and quaint as I had wanted it to be. The bed was super comfortable and the owners were great! We’d definitely come back!
