Charming Large Village House with Stunning Mountain Views - ideal for groups

Situated in the village of Abdet, near Guadalest, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, yet only 25 kms from Benidorm. The House has plenty of space for groups. But we also welcome couples.

OFFICIALLY REGISTERED RENTAL PROPERTY VT-445021

Other features are "double height" living area,, wood pellet stoves for those cool winter evenings in this peaceful mountain village. The panoramic views over the whole valley from the roof terraces are not to be missed.

The kitchens are well equipped, and all bedding, towels, etc is provided for you. All bedrooms have electric heaters and there is FREE SUPERFAST FIBRE BROADBAND available to all our visitors.

The accommodation is basic rustic accommodation. We believe it is good value for money.

Excellent spot in the mountains for hilly rides and to share Strava segments with the pros. Away from the hustle of the shore yet close enough for a day trip.

Beliggenheden i Abdet er skøn, her er stille og fra tagterrassen kan hele dalen mod Middelhavet nydes. Huset er finurligt med flere trapper og god plads. Her er alle praktiske fornødenheder. Og, en hjælpsom udlejer.

I you love all things outdoors, such as mountain walking, trail running, climbing, and cycling then you can't miss this place. Tom is a legend in these parts for his knowledge and enthusiasm which he loves to share with his guests. He will take you to the best places and show you the best times and in the evening treat you to the best food and wine, followed by a film show of your days out. Then snuggle down in a lovely cosy bed, sleep like a baby after your days efforts, knowing Tom will have another adventure planned for you the next day.

Casa en el centro de un pequeño pueblo totalmente reformada conservando su estilo Rustico. Muy cerca de muchos lugares de interés y ideal para practicar escalada y senderismo. Restaurante muy bueno en el mismo pueblo y en los pueblos de los alrededores! Muy recomendable!

Amazing authentic house in a stunning place
We spent an amazing week there in Abdet. The house is very authentic and so charming. The sight seeing is just breath taken. You can spend the whole evening just sitting on the roof and observing the mountains. The people in village are very friendly. Every day the van with bread coming there. Also there is a market once per week. There is no air conditioning but it is not needed. The house stayed cool and nice during the day. The place would suit perfect if you'd like to stay away from the city noise or like hiking. There are a lots of routes nearby. We were really enjoying staying there, having relax after busy days and exploring nearby. We would be happy to return.

walking holiday with Tom
Our group had a terrific walking holiday with Tom in Abdet. He chose a variety of walks which showed off the spectacular terrain of the Costa Blanca mountains and importantly were very suitable for the walking level of our group. Tom was a great guide, driver, host and cook. We all enjoyed the relaxed but organised way Tom made sure it was the holiday we wanted. Highly recommended!

Letting your hair down
If you fancy Breakfast and dinner on the roof tops admiring the great views...knowledgeable guided trips to the mountains and home made Scones .... looks no further. Totally relaxing gorgeous place to let your hair down.

Cycling Week 18-25th Nov 2017.
My triathlon club mates had attended in previous years & at last I was able to sample the delights of inland Costa Brava roads, & Abdet. Sunshine, pleasant temperatures, considerate motorists, smooth roads, long steady climbs (@ 4-8% going on for 5km, 10km, & more,) with fast sweeping descents - a cycling dream - what's not to like? We were made to feel very welcome by guide & hosts Tom & Penny. The home cooking was just right after a days ride & the coffee stops along the way were a real treat. Accommodation very comfortable with bike storage & kit washing facilities. The week really was 'all inclusive' - you only need a few extra €'s for lunch stops & shopping. If you're that way inclined Guadalest is a popular tourist 'attraction' only 10 kms down the valley form Abdet. Hope to be back before too long.

Fantastic area for walking, running or cycling
A week of fantastic guided runs with around 60 miles and 20,000ft of ascent which excludes our sunrise and sunset adventures. Comfy accommodation, great food and a perfect host Thomas has been happy to accommodate us with all our requests. Looking forward to coming back and exploring the region even more.

great house in stunning setting.
Myself and five other friends had an epic time staying with Thomas in abdet, the holiday met all of our requirements and more, Thomas is a fantastic host and guide, and knows all the perfect routes to take people on whether that be for running, cycling, or climbing, We would of certainly struggled without him. The houses are clean, comfortable and cosy, and are lovely to retreat back to after a day out enjoying the sun and scenery, follwed by a delicious 3 course meal cooked by Thomas. Could not fault anything and will hope to return.

Although we enjoyed the location and house, we didn't have WiFi for the whole duratiokn of our stay, WiFi availability being a contributing factor on our decision making. The WiFi was not fixed. House was dusty and not fully clean when we arrived

Lots of character, great location + terrace views
A great base for an action packed week in the mountains near the Costa Blanca. Walks, trail runs and climbs right on the doorstep and wonderful wide vistas from the summits. Excellent hosts with lots of local knowledge and guiding experience.

Abdet Trail Running
Just back from a fantastic trail running week at Abdet. Amazing mountain scenery - Tom is an excellent & knowledgable guide. The days out were all so different, with lots to see, well guided and suited to all abilities. Amazing hospitality & fab home cooked meals every day by both Penny & Tom - we'll be back...

Great size, well equipped, great location
Great location in a really quiet and beautiful setting (the view from the roof terrace is stunning). Well equipped house, especially the kitchen - there was even a hand blender. The village is not too far from local amenities (~30 mins), but stocking up for your stay can be a good idea before heading up the valley - you don't want to waste your holiday shopping. Not many restaurants were open in late February, however many will open if you contact them in advance and make a reservation. We visited Ca Fafel in Benimantell where we had endless local tapas dishes, which were great. The bar in Abdet was very much open during our stay and the locals were very welcoming. Great running, climbing and cycling routes are easily accessed from the doorstep or via a short drive. There is breathtaking scenery in all directions.

Stunning location, lovely accommodation
Amazing location. Brilliant accommodation. Very helpful and friendly host. There were five of us staying in the house and it was spacious and comfortable, with everything available that we needed. The views from the roof terrace were just stunning and I went up there to see sunrise every morning - just beautiful. Very quiet village, so peaceful.

Brilliant accommodation in fabulous location with
Spent a really relaxing week in Abdet. the hosts were warm and friendly (as well as being great guides and leaders for running, climbing etc). the food was good and plentiful the area and views were sublime and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone who is into outdoor activities. I'm not sporty myself but my partner went on guided runs/walks every day whilst I simply relaxed couldn't have asked for anywhere better to do it. the village is beautiful and the scenery is fabulous in an area steeped in history. Can't wait to go back next year
