This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo sleeps 4 with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa. It features slope views to the south. The updated kitchen features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Buffalo Lodge offers shared amenities including 2 hot tubs.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV next a stone gas fireplace. There is a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Extra sheets and blankets are in a closet. Off of the living area is the private balcony that offers slope views to the south. Enjoy views of the village and even fireworks during ski season!

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The dining area comfortably seats four. The full bathroom has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. It is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a mounted flat screen TV.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed here for a week with my son for his Senior Trip. The location was perfect and we had everything we needed in the condo. We cooked everyday, played pool in the common area, and played games in the evening. We didn't take advantage of the hot tubs, but there was always one available. We have stayed with SCMR before, and they have great properties and have always been pleasant to talk to if needed. But THIS location is a game changer! Staying in the village will always be a must for us now! My son loved just waking up and hopping on a lift! We had an AMAZING week here at Buffalo Lodge!

We had a time at Keystone! Everyone was so nice and helpful! The location of the condo was perfect and condo was well stocked with what we needed. The elevator to the parking garage was out of order and it made loading and unloading a challenge.

Great unit, not so great management company

The condo unit is great, nicely decorated. The owners clearly have put thought and effort into making this a comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well furnished. The view of the slopes is just from the bedroom, however. Still, we would stay here again. I would have given this 5 stars, but the management company needs much improvement. We were informed just days before our arrival that the elevator from the garage to the first floor was out of service, yet management refused to give a discount or refund. We had to park outside in the cold, haul our luggage up slippery wooden stairs, load it onto a cart, and use the first floor elevator. Yes, we could have used a ramp around the corner from the parking lot, but it was snowing, and the carts wouldn't have worked in the snow on the ground. In looking at past reviews, I saw that the elevator is often out of service. The management company often does not respond to texts--even after inviting guests to text with any issues. We stayed 10 days, but the unit was supplied with only a few days of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Management would not deliver more but said we could drive to their office to pick up more supplies. Really? Love the unit but wish the owners would go with a different management company.

Convenient and comfortable

Everything was excellent. The only problems were that you could not adjust the heat, and it was hotter than we liked it. Also, the elevator to the garage did not work when we checked in, was fixed, and did not work again on our check out. Fun time at River Run and a good price for a Fortes day.

Great!

We stayed here for three nights. Everything was a described and the condo had everything we needed. It was very clean and in the perfect location for the Bacon and Bourbon festival! Small grocery store within the village and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants. Check in was easy just remember you stop at a separate place for you cards and instructions:)

Awful Management Company!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Unit 8384 at Buffalo Lodge for 4 days. The power went out at 8:45pm on the 4th night. I called the maintenace number and was told that someone would chech the problem. A worker came to the unit and said there was an electrical problem in the basment that would not be fixed until morning. I called Summit County Mountain Retreats to request a move to a unit with power, but was told that was not possible. I then requested a partial refund and was told he would check with managment in the morning and contact me. After waiting 3 days, I called and was offered $20 for the lost of power. We has no lights, no stove, the food in the fridge started to warm, we showered in the dark and could not prepare breakfast in the morning. And they feel that $20 is adequate compensation! They don't care about fairness, they only want your money! We will never book with Summit County Mountain Retreats again.

The space was everything you'd desire, the property management company could do better

Great little place in the heart of river run. The kind of place you can tell the owners considered what all one would desire to use the space for (i.e. kitchen implements etc.). The owners' consideration aside, the property management company could improve. 1st. While I'll admit it's possible I overlooked it in the litany of contracts and check in informational files (that are so large you could spend your stay reading them), it would have been nice if someone had mentioned the construction going on this summer as it was a bit of a challenge to arrive in the middle of the night and hit a dead end after dead end trying to approach buffalo lodge. 2nd. There was the very obvious (i.e. the individual/s cleaning the toilet btwn stays didn't feel it worth the time to mention/address) danger of a toilet seat that is missing one of its two retaining bolts, which, as it wasn't readily apparent upon ones' 1st use of the facilities, resulted in a near tumble/injury; and 3rd. A maintenance technician randomly attempted to address an apparent issue with the blinds while we were there (an occupied status, on a Saturday, which he informed us, he was not at all aware of) which was in tune with the general lack of comprehensiveness I'd allocate to reviewing Summit County Mountain Retreats as a property management company.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our fourth time staying here and probably our last. First, SCMR’s (listing agent/VRBO ‘host’) housekeeping fees are ridiculous; when we got here (we weren’t an early checkin), there was still a towel from the last guest behind the bathroom door (gross). The couch cushions were all backwards and upside down, you could write in the layer of dust under the coffee table and on the blinds, there’s a beer can on the balcony, a floss pick in the bedroom trash can, and as per the last time, the fitted sheet and mattress pad don’t fit the bed. Very frustrating when you consider how much they charge for ‘housekeeping’. As for the condo/building itself, there’s always parking, and it’s centrally located, so it does the job. HOWEVER, we were here in early December and at that time one of the two elevators didn’t work. It’s the end of February and it’s still down. On our third day here BOTH elevators were down. The convenient location of this condo is a waste if after a long day you have to slog up 4 flights. If I were the owners, I’d not be happy given the cost of HOA fees to have an elevator down for months on end (the building management even has a laminated sign up about the elevator, so it doesn’t appear they’re confident it’ll be fixed anytime soon). The stopper in the bathroom sink seems to be broken as it doesn’t raise enough to drain the water behind a trickle, so even just a quick hand wash creates a large, slow draining pool. Also, bring a headlamp or turn on your phone flashlight when you use the ski lockers, the lighting is awful in there. And while you’re preparing for the ski lockers, brace yourself for the smell. The carpet is constantly wet, with no air flow, so it smells like a sweaty, musty, locker room. It just isn’t on par with others we’ve used. Nice place

Easy access. The only complaint I have is check in is at 4:30, originally was supposed to be 4, it was changed to 5 until I questioned it and check out is at 10. Very expensive for 18 hours. I’d think it would be cleaned faster/earlier based on the cost of the cleaning fee.
