Perfect retreat

Our family of five, plus grandparents, all heartily enjoyed our stay at this well crafted, historical home. Although the bubbling creek was the highlight for all, everyone loved all the thoughtful details throughout the home. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with gadgets and utensils. The master bath has a unique shower and clawfoot tub, which opens out onto a beautiful back porch. We appreciated that during our summer stay, it was noticeably cooler than in the surrounding areas, with the shade and creek.

FANTASTIC HOME

This place ended up being perfect for our trip to the Nashville area. It's close enough to get downtown when you want and far enough that it feels more like a home. Someone did a great job decorating and it looks fabulous. Everything we might have needed was in the house for us. We would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing

The house is amazingly decorated and well appointed. We had everything we needed. The kids loved the creek and watching the minnows. We visited Franklin and had dinner at Loveless Cafe. Both fun adventures.

Great stay just outside of Nashville!

Property was clean and quiet. Great location. Nashville, Franklin and Bowling Green are close. Went to Mammoth Cave. Very nice stay.

Home Away From Home

This home was a home away from home. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Andrea was available for any questions we had and made sure we were stocked up for the outdoor fun as well! I would 100% recommend this place to all my friends and family!! My family and I loved the rustic look of the inside of them home and the stone finishes, as well as the historic picture showing that the home was previously a church!!

The pictures and description do not do justice to this property. The owners are very pleasant and accommodating, they thought of everything to make you feel at home away from home. The location is very comfortable and peaceful.

Fabulous place

I rented this VRBO for my family to stay in while they were in town for my son's wedding. It is just a really cool place with some great history. My family loved sitting on the back porch by the creek. The house is very well stocked and has comfortable beds. The house is so much bigger than it appears on the outside. We were very pleased with the rental. Andrea was so accommodating and friendly to work with. I will definitely will rent this again if the need arises, it is just a perfect place to stay.

Had a Wonderful Stay at the Creekside Cottage

House was beautiful inside and out. Huge kitchen and warm fireplace. Spent most of our time at the breathtaking outdoor property that faces the gorgeous creek.

Relaxing and well-appointed haven

This was the perfect size and location for a relaxing getaway for the annual reunion for our group of 5 friends. Each bedroom was lovely, the kitchen was very well stocked, the sofas were so cozy and welcoming. But our favorite part was the babbling creek and waterfall outside. There is a nice side table for outdoor eating and a fire pit for chilly nights. We just loved it.

Wonderful place to relax, visit, and spend the night!

We three brothers and wives met here for our semi-annual weekend. The gathering area was great and bedrooms very comfortable. While we didn't use the kitchen much, it had everything we could need. The stream and firepit provided a perfect last evening. We were unable to use the gas fireplace, but maybe we just didn't push the right button. Some are talking about bringing a multi-generational family group back!

Great time at Creekside Cottage

Just randomly decided to stay in Fairview, TN., as we were looking for a place to unwind and relax. Creekside Cottage fit the bill perfectly. House was great with some amazing appointments, most fully stocked location we've ever stayed at, and had a lovely creek with a small waterfall right out of the back door. I can't imagine anyone not loving this VRBO. The town of Fairview itself is small but filled with some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. We went to County and State Parks to enjoy nature and hiking most of the time. Although Nashville is just 35 miles away. Leiper's Fork is a "must see" small town about 20 minutes away. The drive is beautiful and the place has a great BBQ joint with free music on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3pm. The band we heard played a ton of country hits old and new. Also, if staying here you have to go have at least one meal at the Loveless Cafe about 15 minutes north of town. Great from scratch down home cooking for the past 65 years. Finally, host was responsive to a couple of our questions within minutes of asking. My wife and I highly recommend Creekside Cottage.

Christmas Family Vacation

This home was perfect for our family getaway. They even decorated and had a Christmas tree up when they found out it was going to be our family Christmas celebration. It was a very cozy place to stay and we loved the beautiful outdoor setting as well.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. The host is communicative and assured us things are handled very quickly. We had no issues to test that, but we appreciate the service after dealing with out-of-state hosts with other rental services. The location has access to plenty of businesses and things to do. We enjoyed the park right down the road along with local towns that are fun to make a day out of (Leiper fork and Franklin). 10/10 recommend and would stay again.

Family Christmas

This little quaint Creekside Cottage is like something straight from Snow White! It’s so peaceful and relaxing and was exactly what we were wanting! All of the Christmas decorations were icing on the cake! Everyone hung around the fire pit out by the stream that had a little waterfall… the sound of that was something great to wake up and go to bed to! We were all sad to have to leave! Hoping to come back every year! We didn’t have any problems but the host was very easy to contact and communicate with!

Girls getaway

5 gals had a great getaway. We get together and all have projects. There was plenty of room. Lighting is a little dim. Plenty of places to go on little day trips. I loved our location. The house is well equipped. We like to make evening meals and everything we needed was there.

Splendidly Relaxing
