Top of the Valley

The view from the deck was beautiful. The rooms were large and plentiful. The kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of towels, blankets and chairs. We enjoyed the projection TV We were unaware of the multiple stairs in the unit. This was a challenge for one of our friends as she physically handicapped. The stairs leading to the master bedroom were dangerous and in friend fell dow twice. The problem was that the top stair had a light color piece of wood which blended into the next stair down.

Beautiful view and well maintained home

I was very surprised to see how well organized and clean this home was, even though listed as dog friendly. We traveled with 7 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 kid and 2 dogs and believe me this house was perfect for all of us. And the best part was the projector in the living room. We all enjoyed family time watching amazing movies on Netflix on the huge wall. I mean honestly there is nothing I can say bad about this property. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and everything was clean. We will definitely go back to this house again. And also neighbors were very nice. I will highly recommend this house for big group of people and kids.

Not good at all

This property looks amazing in the photos but sadly in reality this property is terrible. The condo is poorly laid out. Some of the problems include: no bathroom door in the master bedroom, no cable tv (you can’t even get basic channels), an unworking fireplace, an unworking sauna, a hot tub that is literally down a cliff with no easy access, a non-useable treadmill that is massive and right in the middle of the master bedroom, used dishes in the dishwasher, very poorly lit rooms, and that’s just the start. Do not rent this property. You can find something much nicer and more authentic. This was incredibly disappointing for our entire party (8 people all in their 30s).

Lovely stay in Mad River Valley.

We had a great stay at this property. It's very modern, well stocked and comfortable. The property manager is available for whatever is needed.

Great Vacation Home with Minor Problems

Large house with ample space and bathrooms. Parts of it felt luxe (master suite and living room has large floor to ceiling windows + great view for example) and parts like what you would expect of a ski lodge. My qualms are in the details... trash was not taken out, master bathroom had a sink that was obviously backed up and took hours to drain, and when we lit the fire in the living room, the exhaust would somehow get into the master suite and the whole suite would be filled with carbon monoxide. This final point should probably be addressed as it is a safety hazard: one of us took a nap in the suite while the fire was lit and didn't realize the room was full of smoke until waking up. After that incident we always kept the windows open in the suite.

Almost a Perfect Stay

Overall, the house was great. Good location relative to Sugarbush. There was a ton of space - fit 14 adults comfortably with plenty of bathroom space. The kitchen had everything we needed to bake and cook dinner. The sauna worked great. The hot tub was huge and super nice! We had an issue with running water in one of the bathrooms, but maintenance was quick to respond and fix it! The only negative is that the house looks like it is missing some finishing details. Light switches were uncovered, overhead lights didn't seem to work, and we found a couple loose screws and nails in the carpet. However, I would still rent this place again!

Almost a Perfect Stay

Loved almost everything about our stay. Location was great relative to Sugarbush. The hot tub and sauna worked really well and were very nice. The place was huge with a lot of bathrooms. Maintenance was quick to respond to our running water issue. The house seemed to be missing some finishing details. Overhead lights didn't seem to work and we found some loose screws and nails in the carpet. However, I would still book this place again.
