Wonderful Stay

Couldn't have been happier staying in a local area close to everything and such easy access to public transport. Everything you could need from bars, restaurants, supermarket and the tourist sights only 10 minutes away. Christian was a great host and could not have asked for more.

Spacious elegant apartment

We stayed for 2 days in Lyon and this apartment was a beautiful sanctuary to come back to at the end of a day. The antique furniture and art was so elegant and the apartment was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable, the living space was inviting and the kitchen was fully equipped. The building is very secure and access to the subway was about 10 minutes away. I would highly recommend this host and this space.

Lyon

We had a lovely time staying here. It was very nicely decorated and had nice artwork and furniture. The bed was comfortable and the sofa bed good. Little bottles of shower gel were provided, some tea bags and coffee. There is a dishwasher which was handy. The owner responded very quickly and helped with the faulty toilet flush. He was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay! Lyon is a beautiful city!

Fabulous

We had a wonderful 4 day stay in Lyon. Christian is a generous and gracious host and the apartment was perfect. Warm, spacious and well equipped. Easy access to tram and metro and a supermarket in easy walking distance. Would happily stay again and definitely recommend to family and friends visiting Lyon.

Great Find

My wife, son and I were in Lyon, for 27 nights, to set our son up at university. The apartment was well situated with easy access to two Metro stations, restaurants, bakeries and numerous stores for groceries, all within walking distance. A large Intermarché was nearby for a more encompassing grocery run. A Monoprix was about a 10-15 minute walk for other necessities. Our hosts, Christian and Léon, were very accommodating and willing to supply us with items we asked for that had not already been included. They are true gentlemen. It would have been nice if they had mentioned, or included in their apartment book that there were some nearby outdoor markets. We discovered the vegetable market on Emile Zola but did not discover the more encompassing Sunday market until we were leaving for the airport. The city of Lyon is easily reached using the Metro where all of the major tourist attractions can be found.Enjoy the bouchons, the traboules, the Lyonaise food, the beaujolais wine and the museums. Treat yourself and go for a bike ride through Tete d'Or on the city rental bikes. My family and I had a very nice stay here in Villeurbanne and will definitely come back upon our return.

Très bel appartement

Ce séjour de 3 jours a été excellent. Concernant le logement, il peut accueillir 1 à 4 personnes (familles). La cuisine est très bien équipée, la salle de bain est séparée des toilettes (j’apprécie), l’ensemble est propre et bien aménagé avec de beaux tableaux sur les murs. Tous les commerces sont à proximité et les stations de métro à 7 minutes à pied. Christian le propriétaire est toujours présent si besoin. Son accueil chaleureux et son côté affable ne vous laissera pas indifférent. Très bon séjour.

Séjour agréable, très bien situé

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable de 10 jours en famille. L'appartement est trés bien équipé, propre, agréable, calme. Idéalement situé à Villeurbanne (proche des commerces et des transpoerts en commun) : nous avons pu à la fois rechercher de façon efficace dans le quartier un appartement pour notre fille future étudiante et visiter la magnifique ville de Lyon. Christian nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Sa connaissance de Lyon et de Villeurbanne et ses conseils pour notre recherche nous ont beaucoup aidé!

Séjour 2 mois chez Christian

Mai 2022-juillet 2022 Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour à Villeurbanne. La gentillesse de Christian qui est venue nous chercher à l’aéroport, les excellentes confitures maison et le bon vin de la région. Le logement est très bien situé, à proximité de tout : restaurants, 3 marchés par semaine, transports en commun et activités culturelles. Deux invités moins sympathiques se sont imposés malgré nous: la COVID 19 et la canicule. Il est plus facile pour nous québécois de gérer -30 degrés que +37C !

Appartement impecable

L'appartement est parreil que sur les photos , bel appart , trés clair , trés prope et deux minutes du metro charpennes , en bas on à tous qu'il faut meme qu'on a pas besoin parce Mr. Morel est trés serviable , il laisse tout ce dont nous avons besoin , café , lessive et confiture fait pour lui meme . Et si manque quelques choses il est prete a ramener de chez lui , (il habite dessus ) qui est trés pratique parce que j'ai du partir plus tot que prevu et lui est facile joignable. Merci Mr. Morel pour votre accueille , à une prochaine sans hesiter!!

Résidence relativement récente et bien entretenue. L'appartement est bien équipé. Le fait d'être au 6 eme étage donne une vue assez dégagée et éloigne du bruit.
