This home is very good for a group of friends. 4 of us stayed for a long weekend to craft together. The home is spacious and clean. Everything you need for a stay is here. I am sure in the summer it is a great location if you are in the area to fish.
The manager bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. We will be looking to rent this property next year. I wish we would have caught more perch but we're happy with the 50 we did catch.
Everything was just as advertised and worked perfectly for our visit. Patty was a pleasure to work with and there was plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy our trip to Marblehead!
Great accommodations for those traveling with an infant. Had everything we needed for the baby. Property was large. Could use some updating. Overall suited our needs for a fun, family weekend close to other family.
It was such a nice spacious place in a nice quiet area! Perfect location that was near everything. Patty was very helpful with any questions I had. Highly recommend & will book again.
Host was very responsive. Great value and a wonderful home. Very spacious, clean and in a quiet location. Great location for visits to CedarPoint and the islands. Will book again when we come back to the area.
Our 2024 Solar Eclipse visit was truly magnificent! Patty went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. The house was lovely and had every amenity we could have wished for! Thank you for making us feel so at home!
We enjoyed our stay with our family of 9. Accommodations were perfect. Very welcoming atmosphere, felt like we were at home. Would book again. Only a short drive to Cedar Point. Would book again.
Weekend trip with family - guys went fishing, gals went sightseeing! Plenty of space in the house for cousins, grandparents, etc! The house was very clean and had everything we needed! And more! Our kids are older but this home would be great for families with babies/toddlers too! Books, toys, crib, etc. And Patty is very welcoming and communicative! Would definitely book again!
Everything was great, our hostess covered all the bases, anything we needed, she provided besides food and beverages..Great experience, we will definitely do again!

Very clean, Patty provided everything needed for our stay and was very helpful regarding good places to dine. Went to jj’s very good!! Our stay was very relaxing and worry free. Just wish it was warmer to enjoy grill and relax outside. Beautiful set up.
I rented Patty’s home for myself and bridesmaids the week of my wedding on Catawba Island. The home was very spacious and comfortable for our group of 9 and the kitchen had everything we needed and more for our stay! Patty was very responsive and a pleasure to work with.
Our family gathered for a Christmas in July reunion. This house was perfect for our celebration. Patty was the perfect hostess, going above and beyond by adding great Christmas decorations for us and responding to our every need.

I was born and raised in Marblehead and continued to work in Marblehead and Port Clinton until 2018 when my husband and I moved to Van Buren Ohio to be closer to our 3 grown children and granddaughter Lizzy. Lakeside, Marblehead and the Islands have been a huge part of our lives for 4 generations. We still enjoy all the area has to offer and are thrilled to be able to share our home with others as they visit the peninsula as well.
Why they chose this property
My parents bought this house in 1963 when it was a 2-bedroom cottage. Through the years this house went through many changes and was home to those who needed it and remained my parents home for many years . Didi and papa’s house, as my children call it, is a place where memories are made and continues to be that home away from home while enjoying the many activities of the north coast.
