Séjour parfait

Nous recommandons vivement cette location. Parfaitement située avec la plage, les musées, les commerces et restaurants. Piscine spacieuse et bien chauffée. Et un propriétaire aux petits soins pour nous, un plaisir d'échanger avec lui sur la région, l'histoire. Nous voyageons beaucoup et n'avons jamais été aussi bien reçus et aiguillés dans nos excursions avec autant de passion. Encore un grand MERCI.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus

Wir waren mit unseren drei kleinen Kinder Anfang April für 10 Tage in dem Ferienhaus und hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Besser geht es aus unserer Sicht nicht! Das Ferienhaus ist toll, vor allem der Blick auf das Meer ist grandios! Der schöne Sandstrand ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt, man braucht lediglich von dem Grundstück aus nur eine Straße überqueren. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit dem Auto oder teilweise auch zu Fuß in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Optimal für Familien! Karl der Vermieter ist ein toller Mensch! Er ist super hilfsbereit und immer vor Ort und Stelle. Wir konnten uns gut mit ihm verständigen, obwohl wir kein Französisch sprechen und unser Englisch auch nicht unbedingt das Beste ist. Wir wurden ganz herzlich empfangen! Einen Aufenthalt können wir absolut empfehlen! Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort hinfahren! Wir möchten uns auf diesem Weg nochmal ganz herzlich bedanken! Calm, impressive and thoughtful

Very nice house and warm welcome by our host Karl Defortescu. The view from the house on Omaha beach is simply stunning. Monsieur Karl had the swimmiing pool ready and heated which we didn’t expect because the weather hadn’t been warm last weeks which makes it diffucult to heat the pool. But is was heated and this was a real treat for our boys who swam every day of the week. We visited all the must sees and more in the area, even went to Le Mont st Michel for a day. We as a famliy have fallen in love with Normandy. The history, nature and lovely towns., impressive! The house we would recommend to all our friends. Family Veenstra

Wonderful views and peaceful location

The view of Omaha beach is simply amazing! It was an absolute joy to cook in a kitchen with a clear view of the beach listening to the sound of the ocean. The house is well equipped (even has a teapot, which for us tea drinkers is a bonus!) and comfortable. The rooms are much larger than the pictures suggest providing plenty of room for a family of 5 to spread out. The pool is exceptionally well maintained by Karl and is lovely and warm. The children had a great time using it! Karl & Elisabeth were perfect hosts, available to help if needed. Omaha surprised us, it feels like it a 'protected' area not overbuilt and whilst there are many day trippers, the beach is so vast you are not crowded. It is an excellent location to explore the many D-Day sites, such as Pointe Du Hoc, the American Cemetery and many more places. There is a small supermarket nearby with a much larger one around 20 mins drive away. There are also a couple of restaurants/cafes in walking distance as well, which we didn't visit as we enjoyed eating in the kitchen with its magnificent view! We hope to return as there are many more sites we would like to visit and the accommodation is perfect for us!

Experience of Paradise in Normandy, France

Highly recommended. Unsurpassable views from very well-appointed and super-clean accommodation. One goes to sleep at night to the sound of waves lapping at the nearby shore. Combined with the pure air I slept the best I have slept in many years. Beautiful sunrise views from the large Velux bedroom windows are well worth setting the alarm for around 5am to witness. The private pool is kept meticulously clean and beautifully maintained on a daily 3hr regime by Monsieur Karl whom we all got to know during our week stay and we thoroughly respected and adored. We were welcomed by Ms Elizabeth who is a formidable women and very very kind. We arrived late mostly due to my terrible map reading but Elizabeth was very welcoming and forgiving. We owe both Elizabeth and Karl a great appreciation for their authenticity and kindness and for sharing a piece of French paradise with us. We will think of you both often and wish you both well for the future :))

Perfect!

It was a perfect vacation all around. Mr. Defortescu lives in the house next door and is in no way intrusive, but maximum polite and reserved. Everything in the house is good, clean and neat provided lacked nothing. Since we had our own wifi, the unstable wifi did not bother us. Location and surroundings are fantastic. We are currently planning another stay!

Toller Urlaub

Die Lage der Wohnung ist wirklich super um die Normandie zu erkundigen und die Sicht auf das Meer ist einfach traumhaft. Gerade weil es bei uns recht bewölkt war, hat sich der Pool als ideal erwiesen. Durch die Überdachung war es recht warm und man konnte zwischendurch eine Runde schwimmen gehen. Karl war ein toller Gastgeber und hat sichergestellt, dass wir uns wohl fühlen.

Wunderbar

Uns hat es Vierville-sur-Mer wirklich wunderbar gefallen. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, sauber und hat alles, was man benötigt. Es sieht in echt noch schöner aus, als auf den Bildern. Mein Lieblingsplatz war in der Küche: hell, weit, gemütlich. Man hat einen grandiosen Blick aufs Meer. In den Schlafzimmern fühlt man sich auf Anhieb wohl. Auch die Heizung funktioniert gut. Der Pool ist klasse. Er wird jeden Tag von Karl gereinigt und gepflegt. Er ist überdacht und auch bei Regen herrlich. Bei Sonnenschein kann man das Dach öffnen. Apropos Karl: er ist ein toller Herr, hilfsbereit, sympathisch und nie aufdringlich. Wir hatten leider große Probleme mit unserem Auto und dafür spärliche Französisch Kenntnisse. Er hat für uns telefoniert und organisiert. Bei ihm fühlt man sich wirklich willkommen. Danke

Vue exceptionnelle

Conforme à l’annonce, très bien située avec tous le nécessaire pour passer un excellent séjour. Propriétaire très agréable et sympathique, disponible en cas de besoin. Magnifique

Un excellent séjour. Emplacement idéal, maison moderne, bien équipée et très bien décorée. La piscine est grande avec une belle profondeur permettant de nager vraiment. Le propriétaire est très gentil et très élégant. Nous reviendrons très vite.

Karl is perfect !

Que dire? tout est parfait, à commencer par l'hôte, Karl, qui fait tout pour que les locataires trouvent ce qu'ils cherchent. La maison est très bien située sur une petite butte verdoyante, au bord de la plage, avec une piscine dont nous avons bien profité. La vue est superbe, les couleurs changent selon les jours et les heures, un tableau dont on ne se lasse pas. La maison est agréable, bien équipée, avec une excellente literie et une petite terrasse vue mer. Vous aurez aussi la possibilité de déguster les spécialités de la région : poissons et crustacés, tripes et andouilles, fromages ...

Haus mit traumhafter Aussicht

Wunderschön am kilometerlangen Omaha Beach gelegen. Tolle Aussicht auf Strand und Atlantik. Schöner Garten und etwas, von der Fahrstrasse , zurück versetze Hanglage. Sehr ruhig. Hat alles für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Vermieter wohnt gleich nebenan und ist immer hilfsbereit

Magnifique

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in diesem Haus verbracht. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Der Pool ist spitze, das Meer gerade ums Eck. WLAN, ok - Tipp: über Kabel geht das Internet sehr gut. Monsieur Defortecu ist supernett und immer sehr bemüht. Die Gespräche mit ihm habe ich sehr genossen.

Les pieds dans l’eau !

Jolie maison, confortable, très bien équipée et disposant d’une vue imprenable sur la mer qui nous a fait nous sentir privilégiés. Belle et grande piscine chauffée et couverte, uniquement à notre disposition, un autre luxe, surtout avec des enfants ! Situation exceptionnelle, face à la mer et donnant sur une longue plage de sable fin. Pour finir, merci à Karl pour son accueil chaleureux et sa gentillesse (et les dorades pêchées par son fils!) ainsi qu’à Elizabeth pour son sourire et sa disponibilité - nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location !
