Destin West Gulfside Villa #V410 Just steps from ocean adventures and surrounded by relaxation, this contemporary Okaloosa Island studio puts everything you'll need for a memorable stay right at your fingertips. With room for up to four guests, amenities include 2 beachside service chairs with umbrella during season, large garden tub in the master bath, tile shower, central A/C, private dual washer/dryer, Cox Cable, free WiFi, Convection microwave oven, 2 stove top burner, dishwasher, refrigerator, & coffee maker your vacation promises to be fun-filled and stress-free! Perched just steps from the golden Florida shores and right on the banks of the Choctawhatchee Bay, adventure will be always close by. The gulf side of the resort features Boardwalk beach access, area to shower off the sand, kayaks & paddle boards rentals, waverunner rental, banana boat rides, & beach bar a few steps away at the Island. The Gulfside has a huge 5000sqft pool, large hot tub, kiddie pool, picnic areas with charcoal grills, & year round heated villa pool with shade/cover. The fitness center is on the Gulfside as well and has an array of exercise equipment, weight machines, free weights, mats, and cardio machines. The Bayside resort, which you can safely access via the Skybridge located right below our unit to cross over Hwy 98 features the Lazy River Lagoon. The lagoon includes the 700sqft lazy river, heated pool with waterfall, 2 oversized hot tubs-one adult only, zero entry pool, additional picnic areas and charcoal grills, and access to the Bay where you can swim, fish, & catch crabs.
Looking for some nearby activities or dining? Take your group over to the Destin Harbor Boardwalk or rent a boat to Crab Island just five miles away, or check out the seaside fun at the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park less than a mile from your front door. The Boardwalk is less than a 10 minute walk with shops and restaurants, nightly free summer events.
Parking Notes: Parking garage. Park on the 4th level unit is on the 4th floor. No code needed. Parking Passes will be distributed by the onsite Destin West office. Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay. The code can be obtained when you check in onsite at Destin West's Office.

First Family Vacation!

This was the perfect spot for our first official family vacation with baby! The condo had just enough room for all of the things needed to set up for baby and the beach chair access was perfect! Considering making this our permanent vacation spot!

Second Visit

We love this unit. This is our second time coming to this until and they have beach service now! That was really nice to not have to carry beach chairs to the beach. There are a lot of beach toys in the box on the balcony, so don’t forget they are there. The AC WORKS, I bought some sweatshirts on this visit. This is a perfect unit for a couple.

This property was EXACTLY how it was listed and all photos are accurate. This place was perfect for my husband and I. It is right off the elevator and in the MIDDLE of the beach and lazy river, the location couldn’t get any better. We were pleasantly surprised about how big the balcony was, we sent most nights out there. The bed is a tad stiff but that would be the only complaint. I would absolutely love to rent here again.

This villa was clean and the parking was very convenient. Located right by the walkway so going back and forth between the beach and lazy river was very convenient. We loved it and the pools/beach/lazy river were all wonderful!!

Beach resort vacation

We had an excellent time. The resort was the prettiest we’ve been to so far with plenty of activities. We left our shoes on the walkway one night to take a sunset walk and my shoes got stolen in a very short amount of time. I suggest not leaving any belongings there. The fireworks were awesome to see from the resort was well. Hope to come back to this exact resort again. The bed was a little hard and after a few nights it was hard to move.

Family Trip

Overall we had a great stay. The room was exactly as pictured and was a short distance from all pools, the beach and the bay. It was also just a short drive from all of Destins main attractions. The only downfall I could say is you can hear the outside main road traffic due to where the condo is located, but it honestly wasn’t bad and my kids slept right through it.

The property was in a great location for pool and beach and good restaurants. You can hear the traffic, so the balcony and living room were not relaxing spots. We were mostly out and about, so it was a perfect spot for the two of us.

Perfect for a couples get away!

Condo was perfect for our short getaway! Room was located in between the pools and beach which made it easy. Balcony had beautiful views of the dunes in the distant. A short walk to the boardwalk and pier for dinner and drinks. Read carefully though as we did not realize beach chairs were not provided at this resort. You can rent them on the beach for full or 1/2 days.

Fall Break

The unit was tidy upon our arrival. The decor is beach themed and updated. Kitchen amenities were lacking as the frying pans had scratches and there were no mixing bowls. The property was disappointing compared to last year. Chair service is a must due to erosion of the beach. There was no room for guests who brought their own chairs. Only one of the three elevators on the gulf side was operational due to Sally. The main pool opened 1.5 hours late our first day, we never went back in the morning. The location is great and convenient to everything we enjoy.

Our 3rd year😁

This is our 3rd year in this condo and our 7th at Destin West. There were some renovations to this condo since last year. This is the perfect little condo for us. We love the location. Close to the parking garage and sky bridge. The property itself is also in a great location close to activities and restaurants. The property itself had some elevator issues but it was manageable. This property is one of our annual vacations and will continue to remain so. Thank you. Look forward to seeing you next year.

Destin Family Vacation

We had a great time during our stay. This is our new favorite vacation spot. The condo was exactly as the pictures showed and great for our family of 4. We needed Holly and Mike one time and I emailed at 6am not expecting an immediate response but they responded immediately. They were great with keeping us in the loop with CoVid restrictions as well and answered all of our questions

Heaven on earth
