I wrote a little guide of Carro and a map allowing you to find your way around the small village and quickly access the main services: bike rental, paddle, kayak, market days ...
I put at your disposal tourist guides of the PACA region, the IGN maps of the hiking trails of the coast and the creeks of Marseille. Many cultural books are also available.
The district:
The village of Carro is the most picturesque of the blue coast.
- Its traditional fishing port has a daily market with fresh fish.
- Its fine sandy beaches at the bottom of creeks with turquoise water are magnificent.
- Its lake welcomes the biggest windsurfers of the region in a windy day.
- Located between Marseille and Camargue, it is the ideal starting point to visit the region without being in the city.
transport:
The villa is located 100m from the port and the sea. You can do everything on foot: bakery, market, fish market, swimming by the sea or at the beach!
A bike rental is present in the village to move a little further.
