Cook, converse and relax with friends in the gourmet kitchen that features honed granite countertops, a farmhouse sink and beautiful vaulted beamed ceilings. We were in town for my son’s wedding at the Journeyman. The home was of the nicest places I have rented. I loved the decor, spacious kitchen, front and back porch, layout, and beautiful wood-like laminate throughout this well appointed home.

wedding weekend

We were in Three Oaks for a family wedding at the Distillery. The house was absolutely perfect. Very tastefully decorated (Magnolia influence which my wife and daughter loved having visited Magnolia a few years ago), everything was in perfect working order and just steps away from the shops and restaurants on Elm St. Was also an easy drive to New Buffalo where we visited for a day. Would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Three Oaks area.

Amazing for Journeyman Weddings

Gigi’s place was incredible for my wedding at Journeyman. The girls used the space for getting ready and the layout is incredible. Gigi is such a kind and generous host. Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect girls weekend.

The house is extremely comfortable. We took great advantage of both the front porch and the back patio. The house is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is a lovely home away from home. I would recommend this property.

Girlfriends Getaway

We absolutely loved this property! Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Home looked exactly like the photos. We enjoyed the large kitchen and large deck! Short walk to downtown Twin Oaks and great restaurants, carry out pizza and shopping! Close to wine trail. We will be back again. Highly recommend this home!

Sister’s 30th Birthday Getaway.

Overall, we all enjoyed our stay and visiting Michigan for the first time :). It was a total of 3 couples and we stayed for 2 nights. We ran into 2 issues when we first got there. One being we found a dirty thong on the floor in the closet down the hallway :/. We also had plans to grill and do s’mores on our first night there, but when we opened the grill it had mold growth and could tell it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. The guys were ultimately able to clean it the best they could, but for safety reasons we cooked some of the food indoors because my sisters best friend was pregnant and we didn’t want her to get sick.

Beautiful House - perfect place to stay for our daughter’s wedding at Journeyman!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home in Three Oaks. The house was perfect. Our daughter was married at Journeyman Distillery so the location was perfect - we were able to walk to and from the wedding venue. We had 4 adults and 2 boys ( 5 & 7 years old) so the backyard and deck was a big hit! We also walked many times down Elm Street visiting many of the shops. It was a short drive to New Buffalo where there are many restaurants and shops as well as the beach and boardwalk the house was clean and well stocked! We would highly recommend this home wether their for a special occasion or a vacation

Lovely little home

Home is exactly as described. Very clean and welcoming and easy communication with the host. Location is perfect and neighborhood is very quiet but in close proximity to all the cool stuff in Three Oaks.

Beautiful

Owner was very responsive and agreed to my request of an hour later checkout. This place is adorable and looks just like the pictures. The only negative was the dirty floors, as evidenced from our dirty socks/feet. Everything else was very clean.

Long Weekend Wedding

I booked this property for me and my husband and my father and step-mother for a long weekend while we were in town for the wedding of my sister. The wedding was at the Journeyman Distillery which is only a short walk from the house. The master suite of this charming house was perfect for the parents of the bride and the open kitchen-dining-living room layout was great for hosting small gatherings with other family members who were also in town for the wedding. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals and entertaining. We enjoyed using the fireplace inside as well as the fire pit in the back yard. Bed linens and towels were good quality and the beds comfortable--very much appreciated! Amenities were as described (hair dryer, laundry facilities, iron, wifi, ... ) and there were flower vases too! Everyone commented on what a great rental this was--highly recommended!

Ten Stars!

Ladies weekend 2023 was a blast and the cottage was AMAZING! The location is perfect to walk around Three Oaks. The decor is simply perfect! CLEAN, VERY comfortable beds, all the right touches… Gigi knows what guests want. The kitchen and island are the perfect gathering spot to cook and chat and the deck and yard were great. My friends and I gushed about Gigi’s cottage all weekend and we want to make it our yearly meeting spot. Three Oaks is quaint and there are state parks, beaches, wineries, breweries and shopping all nearby in many other small towns. Book the cottage for your next visit, you will not be disappointed :)
