Beautiful multi-level oceanfront home, completely renovated, secluded and tranquil, located at one of Sea Ranch’s most coveted locations. You can’t get much closer to the ocean than this! Magnificent unobstructed ocean views from every light-filled room. Steps away from picturesque Shell Beach, the coastal walking trail, and a panoramic bluff overlook practically in your own back yard. Quality furnishings with a style that’s contemporary and also warm and comfortable. The home was designed by architect Carson Bowler and was recently featured in the Sea Ranch Architecture Tour.

Two bedroom suites at opposite ends of the house, plus sleeping accommodations in the centrally located living room, provide guests a great deal of privacy. Meticulously maintained and cleaned, with luxury linens, this pet-free home is ideal for those with allergies and other sensitivities. Two large enclosed patios, both with lovingly maintained gardens, plus an ocean-view deck and hot tub, give multiple options for being outdoors.

Spacious and well-equipped gourmet kitchen. The beautiful solid wood live-edge dining table comfortably seats 6-8 people. Warm and inviting elevated living room with redwood beamed ceiling, gas fireplace, spacious window seat, game table, large TV, and a variety of comfortable seating options. The south bedroom features a king-sized Leesa Hybrid mattress, an en-suite two-sink bathroom with a skylight and oversized walk-in shower, window seat, and gas fireplace. The north bedroom has a king-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress, TV, and adjacent bathroom with skylight. Additional skylights bathe the home in natural light. Separate laundry room. Reliable high-speed fiber-optic internet.

The home is a 10-minute drive to the recently renovated Sea Ranch Lodge, where you can enjoy fine dining. In addition, you will have access to the many Sea Ranch amenities, including 50+ miles of Sea Ranch walking trails along the waterfront and in the redwood forest, tennis and pickleball courts, and outdoor heated swimming pools.

Seascape is a solar-powered home equipped with a solar battery for backup power in case of an electricity grid outage. A JuiceBox Pro32 Electric Car Charging Station is available in the garage.

This is a one-of-a-kind oceanfront retreat.

Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.

There is not a window you look out that does not have amazing views. The house is on the cliff trail but the gated front yard with the spa gives just enough privacy. The decor was so tasteful, the kitchen well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and even the floors in part of the house were heated. Our getaway with friends was more an we expected. We will be back.

Every window in the house opens onto a different view of the ocean, with multiple cozy spots to sit and watch the waves. Incredibly easy access to the Bluff Trail, Pebble Beach, and the seal rookery. Whale watching from the raised deck during the day. Star gazing from the hot tub at night. Two beautiful enclosed gardens where something is always in bloom, no matter the time of year. And the most thoughtfully, comfortably appointed interior: every detail has been considered and every need anticipated, from the comprehensive kitchen utensils to the yoga mats to the outdoor blankets. The house is always kept immaculately clean and in excellent condition; you can really feel how much love and care have been poured into this special place.

Reviewer Comments: Have stayed in Sea Ranch countless times over 30 years, and Seascape is certainly one of the best if you're not staying with the whole family or group. It's only a two bedroom home and about 1,800 sq/ft, so more than four staying would be tight as the only third bed is a couch in the living area and only two bathrooms.Home is well located near the beach and has good views right on the water's edge, despite the architecture that blocks the 180 view available. That was bothersome when we first arrived, but the tradeoff is a cozy feel that we came to like.The other architectural quirk is that it's a "one level" home with stairs to everywhere. If you have any issues with stairs, this is not the place for you since you can't get anywhere in the home without traversing stairs.Otherwise this is a great home in great shape, with comfortable furniture and fully stocked kitchen. A burr grinder would have been nice, but that's a quibble that shows not much to complain about.Note that the smaller second bedroom has a memory foam mattress that may not be for everyone. Home was very clean, including the windows which is not always the case. I did notice the cleaners hadn't cleaned the floors when I went to wipe up some water that spilled, but visually they looked fine.

The tap water quality was not great, tasted dirty and chlorine like. Or at least a pitcher that filters water. We all know lots of plastic water bottles is horrible so good water from the tap would be a huge plus. For the quality level of this home, better water was expected! Everything else was lovely.

The location near the waterfront and just a few minutes walk to shell beach is great. The instructions for TVs, fireplaces, etc are great and easy to follow, We had a minor inconvenience at first which was that the water heater had not been turned on but the management company very quickly sent a plumber over – they were the ones who noticed the heater was on the "low" setting, doh!The only very minor thing I was a bit surprised by is that Seascape felt closer to other houses than some of the other places I've stayed at in Sea Ranch but that is very minor and the house is setup to minimize views of other buildings.A wonderful house! I highly recommend it.

Having rented about a dozen homes at sea ranch over the last 30 years,this had among the best views. The house was very modern and had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The kitchen was very inclusive, having everything we needed to roast a Christmas turkey. The folks at beach rentals were very helpful and pleasant. The house has 2 gas fireplaces, but I did miss having a wood burning fireplace. I highly recommend staying here.

Pluses: 100 feet away from cliffs and ocean; house is in excellent condition, all the appliances and pots we needed for cooking, good heating and outstanding views; super interesting architecture. Minuses: A bit too close to the walking path (people can see in); having to go to Gualala to get the keys as we arrived super late (a lockbox and combo would be great, so check-in can occur afterwards).
