The beds were comfortable and the views were beautiful! This little cabin is located in the country and you are rewarded with the views and peacefulness. It was clean, cozy, and we had
We loved staying in this cozy cabin—greatly enjoyed comfortable beds and coffee on the porch, plus it was perfect for our visits to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock. Would stay again!
It was very relaxing and the cottage was very cute and had all the amenities you would need or want. Going to Fredericksburg was perfect for special eating out and shopping and just having a good time. Wonderful Place thoroughly enjoyed it.
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The home met our needs perfectly. The quiet time in the country was peaceful and we enjoyed watching the birds from the porch.
We highly recommend staying here!!

The house was clean and well stocked. The property was absolutely beautiful. You could watch beautiful sunrises in the morning. Deer roam freely , and there is an abundance of birds.
Close proximity to Franklin Main Street and Johnson City. Early enjoyed our time there.
Our group loved spending time out on the porch and near the fire pit. This rental was so cute and perfect for our weekend getaway! The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, and even stopped by to introduce themselves which I wasn't expecting but was so nice to be able to put a face to the lovely property.
The Country House Cottage was perfect for our family's stay. We have two teens and they enjoyed it, too. It feels bigger in the living room than it looks in the pictures. Irene communicated with us before the trip, and Jim was very helpful during our stay, stopping by to fill the hummingbird feeder and make sure we were doing well. The cottage is well appointed with dishes, a good size fridge and oven. It's tastefully decorated but not to fussy. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the hummingbirds and whistling ducks. We were able to get in to Fredericksburg for the Thursday farmer's market/fair where we had excellent Mexican food and oven-baked pizza, after checking out an antique mall. Another day we hiked to the summit at Enchanted Rocks, and ate at Cooper's BBQ in Llano after checking out an antique shop, and took the Willow City Loop drive back to the house. We walked around the hosts' property, which Jim had invited us to do, and enjoyed the Texan landscape. We went to the Natural Bridge Caverns north of San Antonio, then San Jose Mission (which had a free tour with an engaging guide), then parked in a lot in San Antonio, where we checked out the Alamo, then got dinner along the river after a river walk. If you love nature, you will also enjoy the Pedernales Falls State Park where we saw a huge variety of wildlife. Lots to do around here in the hill country, and a great country home to come back to!
Nice quiet and clean cottage perfect for a relaxing getaway from all the crazy things in the world

Staying at Willow Knoll was perfect for making it to Enchanted Rock and Fredricksburg. The property was supplied and great for our small girls trip! Thank you for hosting us! Would definitely stay there is we are coming back to the area.
All was very good for our stay.
One item of note but not of concern for our trip. The wifi appeared slow and at times intermittent. It was not neede for our trip and we never addressed it with the property owner, but it could have an effect for a trip if business needs to be conducted while traveling.
The house was nice and clean with plenty of space for 4 adults. We came to Fredericksburg for a girls weekend and it was just perfect. Close enough to town to enjoy everything we wanted to see and far enough out to be quiet and peaceful. Thank you so much for the use of your charming little house.
Willow Knoll is a great place to getaway and recharge. The hosts are very friendly and approachable. Will definitely come back again. The cleanliness of the cabin was remarkable. Had everything you needed and enjoyed being able to cook some of our meals and relax in the evenings. The wildlife provided plenty of entertainment with the deer, ducks, bird watching, and squirrels.
Wonderful peaceful getaway. We explored many of the attractions of the hill country from here. It was nice returning to a peaceful place after 12 hour days exploring the hill country. The drive to town is some distance but it goes fast when looking at all the scenery.
Great getaway. Lots of wildlife. Coffee in morning, wine in the evening-- on the porch. Humming birds entertaining. Missed the Jack Rabbits. Great host.
