DETAILS:
This beautiful and newly built home is situated just two blocks from Sherman Oaks, 5 min by foot to nearest Metro stop, and less than 2 miles from famous Ventura Blvd with all of its shopping and restaurants! LA is a city built for the car so you will never be close to everything and the most important is to not be too far from ANYTHING and that is this home. Universal Studios is only 15 minutes away, Santa Monica 20 min, Malibu 35 min. Many hikes and outdoor activities less than 10 minutes away. This home gives you unparalleled access to all of the major sights in LA including Universal, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica.

This is a family friendly one story home with open layout and comfortable seating for all to enjoy. Plenty of seating on couches and chairs to enjoy the large 60" TV loaded with satellite and also streaming apps such as Netflix,etc. The home is outfitted with all the latest modern amenities such as a NEST smart thermostat, top of the line new HVAC system, 80+MB WiFi, and board games to play for further entertainment!

Fully stocked and modern kitchen with a large stainless steel fridge, loaded Keurig coffee machine in addition to a French press, and drop machine, variety of teas and electric kettle for the mornings. Plenty of cooking utensils, spices, and dishware is provided to ensure that you can cook a nice home cooked meal should you choose. Dishwasher, rangetop and oven of course as well. High top dining table.

The spacious Master suite has huge closet, connected bath, and plenty of room for the memory foam roll away beds should you have young ones who want to sleep with you.

Three of four bedrooms have televisions including the BR with Twin beds for the kids, all rooms have blackout curtains for sleeping in, luxurious bedding and top quality mattresses to ensure a good and comfortable nights rest. The house is on the corner of a street with some traffic but you get little noise inside the home courtesy of window placement and dual pane windows throughout.

The outdoor area consists of multiple areas for hanging out with friends and family while BBQ'n in the great California weather! You have the main VERY LARGE outside area on the side with two high end outdoor sofas near the BBQ for socializing while cooking and a large two person hammock for relaxing while the food is being made! Just off the living room you have another smaller patio area which is comfy and surrounded by foliage and you can sit and relax or have a couple drinks.

This home is perfect for families (Pac n' Play is available for guests), groups of friends or business travelers who need some peace and quiet but want to be close to everything and be able to enjoy the great weather of LA.

I'm a native of Los Angeles and hosting for over 7 years so I will do everything to make sure you enjoy your stay!

Universal studios trip
We used this place for a mini family vacation. It was great for our large family. The commute to universal was 25-30 min with traffic. All the appliances worked great especially the coffee machine which we used a lot. The rooms were a perfect setting for us. Family area/kitchen were very open and inviting. There’s private parking for at least two cars which in California is amazing although it involves a little maneuvering. There’s no direct access to the yard from the inside of the home but that wasn’t an issue for us since we didn’t use the area. No issues with neighborhood, neighbors or community since it is secluded. Overall great house and I would book again.

Perfect Getaway !!
We stayed in the home for our Christmas break with our family and kids. We had good time and the home was perfect with all amenities listed the most accurate way possible. There were 2 minor issues but Shawn and his team handled it perfectly and followed up with us whether we are satisfied or not. Overall it was a nice home and I’m glad we made some lasting Christmas memories.

This was a great place to stay for us and our daughter, son-in law and 4 grandchildren. We particularly appreciated the electric kettle as we are tea drinkers. The snacks were a surprise. We would recommend this property.

Picked this property because of its proximity to Universal, because it best fit our party’s sleeping needs and the reasonable price. Property was clean, beds were good and communication with the host was exceptional!! House is on the corner of 2 busy streets but made to feel private by large bushes. We were happy with our stay.

Booked this house for a few nights and we loved it! So welcoming and warm. Felt like it could have been our own. Rooms are spacious. Chairs were super comfortable to relax in at the end of the night and watch some Tv. Pretty much a fully stocked kitchen so we were able to make a few dinners at the house. The beds were great! So comfy! Very convenient having a washer/dryer. Convenient location for our itinerary. Close to stores as well. Would definitely rent again. Shawn is an amazing host.

Overall the property fit our needs which accommodated our group of 10. The location was very convenient to universal studios and the hollywood walk of fame. There are abundance of resturants in the vincinty and a grocery stores. The only thing is you have to pay attention to where you turn because you may miss the house.

The house listed is accurate and clean. Communication with the owner and his team was excellent. The houses location was perfect for us. We went to Universal for 2 days when staying. I have no reservations recommending this home for families looking for a clean place to stay when on the LA area.

In town for a conference
4 friends attended a conference at Paramount Studios. This house was in a perfect location for local studios. 4 bedrooms were perfect for the four of us. We had a convenient Target, Ralph’s and Starbucks close by. Our stay was perfect. We found nice restaurants near by for dinners.

Not for me
Overall, I had a mixed experience with this rental. The house was tucked away behind a hedge and had plenty of parking. It was also big with 4 bedrooms and it was available within a short notice. However, there were a few negative aspects that made my stay less than enjoyable. First, there were cockroaches! I saw them in the kitchen, the bathroom, and the bedrooms. This was very gross and made me feel uncomfortable. Second, the mattress was very uncomfortable. I'm 30 years old and I have no back problems, but I woke up the next morning unable to move. The mattress was not comfortable at all. Overall, I don't not recommend this rental home. The positive aspects were outweighed by the negative aspects.

Toll geschnittene möblierte Wohnung mit großen Aussenbereich
Wir haben den kurzen Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir hätten auch gerne bis zum Ende unseres LA Aufenthaltes weitere 4-12 Tage verlängert - weil die Wohnung aber auch über B&B läuft ist sie schnell an den Wochenenden kurzfristig verbucht. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, toll geschnitten mit guten Möbeln ausgestattet. Der Garten war bei Ankunft noch etwas bewachsen von der vorherigen Schlechtwetterphase und es fehlte die Aussendusche ;) - aber nach Rückmeldung mit Shawn's Agentur wurde dies sofort am nächsten Morgen gesäubert und man konnte sich richtig wohl fühlen. Es wurden auch neue Säcke für das Corntossgame geliefert! Man muss in Van Nuys darauf achten in welcher Straße man landet - die Wohnung liegt neben einem Gewerbebereich - das wirkt im ersten Moment einschüchternd. Aber wenn man nicht unbedingt schöne Spaziergänge machen möchte, sowieso eher mit dem Auto die weitläufige Umgebung erkundet, dann ist die Wohnung optimal. Den einzigen Punkt den die Agentur/Besitzer natürlich nicht beeinflussen können ist die Lage direkt an der Straße- zur RushHour ist es dann eventuell zumindest im kleinen Patio recht laut. Wer aber mit dem Geräusch von Autos kein Problem hat wird sich nicht daran stören und darum kann man eigentlich auch kein Stern abziehen. Die Klima Anlage ist der Hammer 👍. Und ich denke der TV im Wohnzi.wird auch bald getauscht - aber es gibt ja noch 3 weitere TVs :). Preis-Leistung sind top!! Wir haben nur 1 Stern abgezogen, weil wir nur den Ist-Zustand bewerten können und eher wegen der Lage. Wenn wir nächstes Jahr wieder Urlaub mit unseren zwei Kleinkindern (1+3) machen- dann kommen wir gerne wieder 😊. Wir möchten noch ein großes Lob an Shawn und sein Team ausrichten - der Kontakt und Service war Perfekt. Danke und bis bald ihr Lieben😁.

Clean and convenient but some issues.
Overall the stay was ok. It is right on the corner of a busy street so the traffic noise in the house is substantial. The beds were very soft so a trip to my chiropractor was needed when I got home. Don’t count on the roll out twin beds unless small kids will be on them. The mattresses are very thin. The tv is satellite so though we tried to watch a football game, weather prevented it. The propane was empty on the grill and while we could have filled it, the inconvenience made it less than ideal. Overall, it worked. It was clean and secure. The communication was timely and the only big things were the soft beds and the traffic noise. Also, the master bedroom frame creaks loudly with the slightest movement. It was nice having laundry on site and having room for three cars was great. It can be hard to get out in the morning with traffic because it is right on the corner.

It’s close to freeways in all directions so it’s convenient for all directions. Squeaky bed in the primary made it had for the family to sleep. It’s work looking at staying here.

A group of nine of us stayed at this residence. There was loads of space and everything was clean and functional. The patio area is very large, but we never used it due to rain. Owner is easy to communicate with. I wouldn't call the place (or the neighborhood) "luxurious," but it definitely met our needs.

Labor Day Weekend
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The house was big & cozy enough for us to all hang out and relax while we waited for the heat to cook outside. Our last night the neighbors had a very loud party and you could hear it throughout the house, the host once notified did all he could to help and even let us stay a little bit longer after check out to get the proper rest we could before getting on the road again. I would def come back. The host was very responsive and accommodating.
